Buick LaCrosse Haynes Repair Manual for 2005 thru 2013
PLEASE NOTE that this manual is intended for vehicles built to US specifications and do not cover diesel models unless specifically stated. Although it is useful when the products or systems are similar to those in other markets, there may still be significant differences, especially in areas concerned with safety and emission control.
Exclusions:
Does not include information specific to eAssist models
In my 05 LaCrosse CSX with 3.6 engine, it looks like the exact opposite from your video. Is the video for a 3.8 configuration? There was no place on mine to even reach up with a screwdriver or pry bar to disconnect the drive shaft from the transaxle. It was exactly above the frame. I had to tap it out with a bar, and hope that it didn't damage the seal as it hopped across.
Good job, Haynes team, and thank you for the video.
From my car, it is a male end sticking out of the transmission and a female on the drive axle for the lacrosse 2008
Definitely doesn’t appear to be accurate for gen 1 lacrosses
Facts definitely not for an 08 Buick lacrosse
Does this work for the rear axle
No rear axle is just a hub assembly
There are no rear axles on Lacrosse/Allures. They're front-wheel drive vehicles so they only have front axles.
