Crazy I can't get any of my music rotations to load in the playlist automatically in v2038?

Okay it sounds like there is a corruption in your database. I had this happen several times and that's what led me to the steps I show in this video. Always check each step to make sure there are no errors when doing doing each update. I had to refresh the database on the new version until I was able to do each step with no errors

Hi! If I set a certain category in the rotation to roll Random, but I set Custom Rotation Rules higher than the Global Rotation Rules, it won't work. And if I want the weak rotation to repeat a song in at least 10 hours but the Global rotation rule is set to e.g. 1 hour, it often repeats the song under 10 hours on Random to prevent repeating the whole category in a certain order. I wrote in the Support forum but I received no help to solve the issue. If nothing but waiting for a fix solves the issue, I'll switch to another software. Please help! :)

Unfortunately using Random is probably the worst logic to use. Try Least Times Played. I have rotations with custom rules set to two days out which is way higher than the global rules and it works great. But keep in mind that's only during the time that rotation is active. If another rotation with different rules is active and it's pulling from the same category, then songs will get played while that rotation is active.

@@RodericksRadioDJTutorialsevery hour I reload the rotation with an event so it begins from the start and if that is the case, I won’t do it then. The thing I want to achieve is songs from a category not to be repeated. Imagine songs A,B,C, are heavy rotation, songs 1,2,3,4,5,6 are medium and a,b,c,d,e,f are weak rotation and I want to achieve something like that:
A1aB2bC3cA4dC5eB6fC2b1a and so on.😅

@@kris_tsochev What you are doing should work but not with using random. Each rotation line should have its own rules but I would use the Least Times Played logic. Set the minutes of separation as you desire.

@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials I don’t agree because if I add a new song in the same category and if there are three least recently played songs, the newest one will play as much as it becomes equal with the other older songs added and then they will begin playing again. Other users confirmed that issue in the forums too and therefore it needs to be fixed

What version of MYSQL or MariaDB are you using? I'm using MariaDB 10.5
