Wonderful easy transition. Just one question - where's the album art? I copied it from album_art in 2.0.0.6 to images, but none appear
I'm am using MariaDB 10.5 with v2006 & v2039
I'm using MariaDB older version like you said, crazy
The newer version works well with MariaDB 10.8 too
To anyone tempted to use the 2.0.0.6 to 2.0.3.9 update file which comes with 2.0.3.9, save yourself time and don't. Do it Roderick's way instead. I encountered an error when I tried the update file which came with 2.0.3.9 but with Roderick's way above everything went smoothly through each database update.
Glad it worked for you. I think there is another point I may need to make a video about that I forgot about.
@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials So I found a few more things. My Main Rotation ended up with a different ID than the one my Events referenced also. I had to have my events Disable Auto DJ while loading Rotations and Sweepers and then clearing the playlist before re-enabling AutoDJ to keep RDJ playing as it did by default in 2.0.0.6 - The behavior changed between 2.0.0.6 and 2.0.3.9 where clearing a playlist stops AutoDJ apparently.
That's the key...Don't install over what you currently have! I've made that mistake a couple of times. Thanks!

@@RodericksRadioDJTutorials Thanks! I followed your tutorial exactly as you showed and everything went smoothly. Except my Rotations. They are visible but do not play. I have recreated one of them and it works fine its just the old ones which do not. Do you have any idea how I can get the older ones to work? I'd rather not create all the rotations we use again.
@@JadeStarwatcher Ahh I was afraid of that. There may be a difference in how rotations are done between the versions. Try opening up a rotation, use the Duplicate for each line in order and delete the old lines to see what happens.
What MySQL Server are you running here? MariaDB version? I guess it needs to be a version compatible with both of those RadioDJ versions, 2.0.0.6 and 2.0.3.9. (I don't imagine it's possible to run two versions of (e.g.) MariaDB concurrently - or am I wrong about that?).

Everything is loading and running except for the music rotations. No issue with all the events loading and they will paly, but once the events are over dead air
Rotations generate playlists for the Queuelist, but the existing values in the rotations are not compatible wit the newer software code, so value in db table need to be updated.
Yeah you may need to recreate the rotations.

After update the rotation rules do not trespect the timing .
Okay, I have not gone fully to v2039 and I'm currently using v2038 on 3 live stations. The rules seem to be doing as needed. I would have to play with the v2039 on a live server to check it out.
Okay so far I have not had repeats on v2039 but still watching it. I only have 25 tracks in the sub-category
Also, never use Random as the selection Logic as it does not obey rules. I only use Least Times Played for my logic.

Make sure you do not install onto the C drive. If you do, you will have to change the security of the folder and subfolders.
