Best TH-cam instructional by miles. I can’t believe this content is available for free.
My favourite aspect is the fact there is focus on feelings rather than using lots of props. It’s way more transferable directly to an individuals swing.

Danny - you are the man! I am a 72 year old 20 handicapper and been playing about 10 years. This is the tip I have been waiting for all that time! Just back from the practice field and have been hitting the driver consistently straight and over 200 yards with no effort. Irons have gone high and straight - again with no effort. I pray to the golfing gods that I can take that out on to the course!

I've been trying to figure out how to properly swing the golf club for 15 years, and could never figure it out. And this one idea of keeping the elbow like it is in the setup position has made ALL the difference. It's so easy to do!! Why wasn't I told this by the several teachers that I've been through? They tried in their way but could never explain it the way you do, Danny.

Quite possibly the best tip for keeping me down and in the shot that I have ever heard. Takes so much of the guessing out of the down swing. Real power and consistency in the strike are right there swing after swing with just one swing thought. Knock-on effects of this one thought include a shorter and more connected backswing, passive clearing of the hips, low hands and ubiquitous side bend and rolling over the forearms through the zone. Thanks Danny, this one is gold.

I am 71, 6’ 5,” and can drive the ball 250 yards but a consistent swing is the problem on the course. I am going to put this into practice. Man.. if I had to choose one (1) golflesson on TH-cam, this would be it.. cannot tell you really how much I appreciate this "reminder"! Have done this elbow thing for a long time and hitting them really pure...lately I have been suffering from the shank (really bad, considering giving up the game altogether) then I watched this and realised what has snucked into my swing.. went to the driving range this morning and tried to practise only this elbow thing.. w o w..the shank was totally gone! (I have been watching a zillion different TH-cam videos lately how to cure it - nothing helped) so, thanks to your "reminder" I am hitting them pure again.. the single most important move in golf!

Wasn’t sure about this but tried it as wasn’t connecting well with irons on par threes. Results have been amazing. Just achieved my lowest gross score of 79 which included a birdie on a par three I have been struggling with. Yes I have been playing regularly and practising but Danny deserves the credit for giving me this swing thought which has taken my iron play to a new level.

I used it with several irons and my driver. Thank you very much!

You're videos are always timely. I just "discovered" this feeling and it made a world of difference to my swing and follow-through. I was excessively drawing/hooking shots, so I spent a day trying to fade it. The swing I use for that is exactly what you're describing in this video, "feeling" like my right hand/forearm are twisted more clockwise through impact. Before this, my follow-through (and consistency) were horrible. Now, I've (mostly) eliminated the hooks and finish my swing with a great follow-through.

Ok, I binged watched your videos. I went to the driving range to correct the problems I had. Your videos hit every problem I had. The ball was going right and left. So I did the simple exercises you gave. There were so simplistic I feel stupid for not seeing what I was doing wrong, Drive straightened right out. The distance was ridiculous when compared to how much I was losing before. no lie I picked up 60 yards just on the fly. Control was so easy. Thanks Danny

Great tip Danny! I picked up on this from another teacher in March and it made a big difference. Trail arm just naturaaly and consisrantly folds into position, and sets me in a great place to to make a powerful transition with my right wrist hinged in my fownswing and through impact Always enjoy your content. This is an outstanding video because it worked. Just had one of the most consistent striking rounds ever yesterday after spending about an hour on the range practicing this before playing. Don't have to swing hard just get your trail arm facing the right way.

I just tried the positioning and orientation of the trail arm with the forearm towards the plane of the ball as instructed by Danny in this video and it instantly worked wonders for me. I’ve always wondered if I have had some kind of mechanical set up issue and though I don’t claim do be cured, the suggestions in the video instantly improved my distance and consistency in hitting straighter balls. Many thanks for all your awesome videos. You’re improving the game of golf in people all over the world!!

Danny it is now 6.00 pm but there is no sign of the practice plan. I won’t know how well this tip works until tomorrow but it fits in with so much of what you have said previously eg turning the trail hand to look up to the sky or as if holding a tray. Anxious to find out if it works on the course but very optimistic. Feels good.

Before watching this video, my coach corrected my grip and particularly my right arm. The setup is the same as Danny was teaching and I can say this really works! I used to block my shot, but after this simple change is my trail arm, the shots were mostly straight and longer!

So coming back to golf after many years, keeping my elbow in this position has revolutionized my game. Even today I was pull hooking. I concentrated on keeping my elbow in the correct position and keeping my right hand from turning over the club. Forcing to keep the face from turning over saved my driving today. Thanks, coach!
