Nice work. It is good to see young people pick up tools and design and build their own homes. It’s a lost art but many young people building their own dream homes now. Love the home…
Great job guys. Ignore any of the negativity. Talkers will always do as such, just talk. Way to take back your life and take it as it comes. We are going through our own transitions as a family and our daily life, so these series are always inspiring. Keep it up! -Neighbour to the west in southern MB
Thats a great build out. It is amazing how fast a A-Frame can go up when you plan the work out, and know what your doing. I think thats a great size for a guest house. I am looking to build one myself about that size. Keep up the hard work!
@@m_gadventures yeah I thought about that answer when I was looking at your quote-unquote scaffolding. I dont mean that as an insult cuz ill be doing the same thing. Congratulations on following your dreams. What do you think the cost of the slab on grade was you went with? I can Factor what Lumber will cost me and I can do most of the build myself but I am not a foundation guy
Yes, all our buildings have permits it’s not worth investing in a build for the potential of someone complaining one day and having to deal with it. Welcome to the channel!
Great job lads but my goodness lotta safety issues there bit more scaffolding with few safety bars. One fall an your in trouble either head injury or broken limbs. Your health is your wealth lads
Expensive, there's not alot of room. I don't agree with the rafters to the "foundation".... mostly cause they are knotchet and the trails of the rafters are doing nothing.....(the tails are held on by 1.5 inch of wood that will fail over time, I don't care how you reinforce or

Always loved the look of A Frame homes as they present a mental coziness feature 😃
A FRAMES are a new kind of addiction

Thanks Charles! We watch a lot of TH-cam and someone’s TH-cam inspired us to build an A frame- hope you can make your dreams of an A frame come true
What is de size and hight
Hi ! The A-frame look really nice, so I’d to know need having license construction to build this. Can DIY ? Thanks
Very happy for you guys it looks really good to thank you for sharing they did an amazing job congrats
Beautiful Amazing 💙💚
as retired tradesman Carpenter...I dont see any ground ties on rafters, or indeed at the apex....You best get that done!
I didn’t see tar paper or anything used to separate the wood from the concrete. I was told concrete rots wood? Do you know anything about this?
the frame looks so cool going up
Fantastica 💯
You guys so busy. ❤
love the a frame❤
What was the song playing while sheeting it over?
My dream home ❤, anyway how much that cost ? I'm planning to do it .
I have so many questions!!!
hey there. looks great! did you have to pour your foundation? is it a crawlspace? I cant imagine it would be a slab north of Toronto.
👋 hey- we did pour a foundation there is a video on it we did icf and no crawl space
can you tell me about dimension of triangle ? please
Parabens.bela obra...
How do i get building plans for such a building?
Is that flora cash playing?
I’d like to buy the plans.
can i ask the angles and the size area of the floor.
Qual o tamanho da casa?
Adorei!
Why not build a 4ft knee wall along the outside. That way you wouldn't lose that space
We thought about it and would work but we had an overall height restriction in play and the loft space was already as low as we could go

What's the height restriction due to local regulations or just the height at which you guys could realistically work?
I would have gone with black or charcoal for the sidings.
Agree, I wish I had but you’ll see it turns out okay at the end
🎉 Dimensions please 🙏🥺
Thats the difference. In sweden they used 300mm tji joist for the a frame.😜😜👍🍻🇩🇪
Lol! Everything in Sweden is better quality. But due to the size of ours we didn’t need much more to support this structure:)
10x stronger with a simple collar tie.
Can you give me this A frames plan..i want make this in my place
can i ask the angles?
espetacular de parabéns

Scary construction going on here
Gee kill the music
Nice video but very annoying voice, sorry
Is the nauseating music truly necessary?
