I always considered myself a workhorse and even built my house, but I see three days of solo progress you've done there...offering a deep bow of respect, Sir.
There is only one word, to describe your ability and motivation....AMAZING!!!!!!! You do as much work as a 4 man crew, any day of the week, and TWICE as much on Saturday!!!! Cant wait to see both projects, when they are finished! GOD BLESS ALL!!!!👍🤗🙏🙏🙏🙏
It's pretty cool that you can use your house boat as a mobile home as you travel to these sites to build these houses! You are awesome Jeff! Keep it up!
I have been stealing your ideas and scaling them down to build my 1-room cabin in the woods. Thank you so much for sharing your world. It has really improved mine. Thanks again
Got to tell you folks. In the time it takes a crew to build one and half frames, Mr Barron already has three standing. Ain’t kidding. I use to do security work for some of the bigger home builders in central California and they’d come in, stand up a few walls, maybe lower some trusses on…in one day. Jeff’s got Two A frames and a mansion going all by himself…well, a little goob every now and then. Amazing! Preciate y’all!
Funny how every carpenter crew calls your build-up different names you almost have to learn a new language sometimes I'm a retired carpenter and still love to see things come together. I just watch now but it is still fun to watch. You never stop learning and it's always something different.
Awesome Jeff don’t know how you do it by yourself. God bless you. Tremendous job looks awesome. You’re definitely a hard worker. Appreciate your videos.
Not often I shake my head and cuss loudly at the computer.. but when you see a man who does the work Jeff does, I just think 'Holy cow, that man's a machine!'
You don't take a breather at all Jeff..."Think I will start a cabin build while waiting for the blown in insulation for the home I am currently building"...not many would come up with that idea..lol....looking forward to seeing the finished product on both buildings!
You certainly are a busy man. I wish I lived closer, I would help you, as much as I could anyway. I am disabled. I feel I would certainly learn a lot from you. Keep them coming buddy. You inspire me to do a lot of things with my cabin here in Maine.
Jeff...I lost track of how many places you have to lay your head at night! Good for you. I'm sure it will be nice. Looking forward to watching the build.
Jeff your really doing a beautiful job on the foundation, & big two story trusses for the new A frame build. Love your channel, be safe, stay healthy, & God Bless everyone.
Jeff ...You are a construction animal! You work harder than any 3 men combined that I know. Love watching your videos...I especially enjoy your imagination seeing you figure it all out... while you go. Am retired and still fit. It would be a dream come true to work alongside you on these projects. Thx for sharing your very interesting life.
I’m always wondering if working by yourself in the sticks is always such a good idea. Fantastic work as usual, Jeff! I really do enjoy your work ethic.
Jeff you are truly an amazing man and as everyone else has said your work ethic is second to none!! Enjoy watching what you do and wish I had a fraction of your know how!!
For tin hanging day, could you rig a pulley at the ridge, winch from the back side (up over the ridge and down to the working side), rig a jig to grip the tin at the top and just hoist it up and hold? If you have trees pretty close to ridge line, rig a cable above the ridge line with a pulley to ride the cable, and a pulley to winch off of. Then you can roll laterally to your next set. Then you could fiddle as needed without too much weight/danger to get thing aligned properly? It's gonna be sweet!
My back hurts already seeing those Shovel prints in that Clay loam. You must have a few helpers around. Looks like drainage won't be a problem! Great Start.
Amazing While your waiting for spray foam at the house you build another hut. You Sir are skilled, honest, genuine and unique Thank you for sharing Love your work
Jeff I envy you on all your knowledge of wood working, building of these houseand the energy you have o do all of this. I wish I had someone to teach me your how too's..
Awesome job Jeff...not many people could do that much work by themselves in such a short time. I was also wondering if the river has flooded that lot ...what is the flood risk in the past ?
Jeff, can't you give it a rest? Seems all you do is work. But, an idle mind is the Devil's workshop, as they say. On what river is this cabin? Looking forward to this build. Be safe!
Are you building that on the Alabama River? I talked with you and Hannah at deer expo in Birmingham last summer, the guy that fishes catfish tournaments. I just recently finally fulfilled a long time desire of buying a sawmill. I am enjoying sawing logs into lumber. Your building skills are top notch!
man I love the proportions! Can you tell me the A frame outsides dimentions and angles? love your channel, subbed inmediatly. regards from chile, south america.
Hi from south africa... just love this style of cabin, and this is a great layout. By any chance do you have the plans for this cabin. Would like to have them.
Dang Jeff! You must have a nuclear reactor in your chest to have the energy to do all of these builds! You are the Real Ironman! Lol Great work brother!
I'm live in Juneau man, canvas tent on Styrofoam. Built it my self. I would change nothing. Got a gold clame here I work in the summer, getting an Oz per day buy my self. No real heavy equipment just a dredge.
I always considered myself a workhorse and even built my house, but I see three days of solo progress you've done there...offering a deep bow of respect, Sir.
Jeff is a machine man. I don't know how he does it
Do you design your own floor plans or purchase them?
@@hannahweeks154 Wife (ex, actually) drew up what she wanted, then we drew out something more detailed for material quotes.
@@flysubcompact That’s awesome!

@@flysubcompact TRUE THAT!!!👍🤗
I got 60 ozs my first year then slowly tapered down, more drinking coffee, fishing, smoke a dubby here n there. Set retired at 40 years old.
It's pretty cool that you can use your house boat as a mobile home as you travel to these sites to build these houses! You are awesome Jeff! Keep it up!
Hey Jeff, You are a one man crew. You get more done by your self then 4 guys get done in the same time.
Take care and be safe.
I have been stealing your ideas and scaling them down to build my 1-room cabin in the woods. Thank you so much for sharing your world. It has really improved mine. Thanks again
