    • @CraftyWorkshopBuilds

      The upgraded turbo outlet pipe allows for more air to flow through. In this video the car had the stock turbo on, the turbo muffler was still on.

    • @CraftyWorkshopBuilds
      @CraftyWorkshopBuilds  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I deleted that pipe, it's called the noise maker pipe.

  • @glizzygoblin-nl2uh
    @glizzygoblin-nl2uh 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    The throttle body pipe looks about the same width, i can see theres a small difference but it doesnt seem worth the work or money for that small of a difference, the turbo outlet is way to small tho an i can see how thats beneficial. Im just gona replace the turbo outlet will that work

    • @CraftyWorkshopBuilds
      @CraftyWorkshopBuilds  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea, you could replace only the turbo outlet pipe if you choose to, without any issues. If your motor has the noise make pipe, the upgraded throttle pipe also serves as a delete.

    What are the benefits after this install?

    • @CraftyWorkshopBuilds
      @CraftyWorkshopBuilds  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Better air flow for the turbo outlet pipe, the stock one is like a pancake. Throttle pipe deletes the noise maker.

      @22abdullah22 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@CraftyWorkshopBuildsSomething to consider, while not huge in terms of massive power gains; I think this is a better part and can eliminate the wear or leak factor under heavy load (stage 2-3). Currently battling a leak in my throttle pipe and will be looking to getting upgraded piping.

      @@CraftyWorkshopBuilds thank you, well im debating whether to upgrade the car or get a different cone later on. But i saw a CTS turbo kit that will allow for a stage 3 on gen3 engines and this is a prerequisite mod. It all depends if my transmission is good. I just had to replace timing kit, tensioner, oil pump, camshaft etc etc and now mechanic says hes 60% sure i need DSG clutches changed. An actual VW mechanic inspected my car driving it 30k miles and said it felt normal and doesnt feel different since so....if transmission is good i think ill upgrade

      @Ex4_ 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Nekroman111 Yeah the DSG clutch can handle quite a bit of torque, you should be good. It's just the manual clutch you need to upgrade pretty early while getting more torque.
