just make sure the timing chain and tensioner has been done before doing mods... and the same goes if it is a DSG, fresh trans oil. If going stage 2, dsg tune is a must or will burn the clutch pads.

@@fluflammer1 I think it's just a preference sort of thing. I think it looks cool without it. But at the same time it's a pain to cut it out lol so if you take the effort to do it, then ya.
@@BriGuy503 real shit? I wanna cut the grille but when you had urs cut out did the inside get hit by rocks or glass or stuff from the road? That’s the only thing that holds me back from cutting the grille
Hey man I installed this in my car and I have a cat back exhaust and knn air filter system but I haven’t got tune but when I installed it feel slow on the throttle and a “EPC” light came on the and my turbo is not working it’s not spooling up and not boost is being made. Any advice ?
How are you, friend? I have a 2011 Volkswagen mk6 GTI with 171,000 miles. I know I have to put liqui molí oil on it, but what do you recommend and what additives? Thank you 🙏🏻
I’m looking at upgrading my innercooler too. Is there a benefit to the front mounted like you did vs removing and replacing the OEM cooler with a larger one? Just ease of installation or is it better?
Noticed you're in Oregon, were in the process of buying a used MK6 GTI, and will be moving to Medford, Oregon in the next year. is everything you have on your car able to pass smog? I know MOST of Oregon has smog except for Roseberg and a few other places. any info is appreciated
Hi my brother... for me I have a big concern... it is that the fans turn permanently what is the cause !?according to you..I have a golf 6 GTD 2013 184PH
The “sensor” that was next to the turbo muffler is just a connector. There are 2 bolts holding it in.
Ya I couldn't get to the top bolt that held it on. Would help if I had the right tool lol
Great videos! just recently bought a 2011 mk6 and your videos are alot of help on what I have planned for mine
Awesome! Congrats on the purchase, its a fun car!
@@BriGuy503 yes for sure fun especially for what it is. Not as quick as my SHO but still fun

Thanks for the videos. They’ve helped me🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🔥🔥
Awesome, glad I could help!
Brooo thats so fast and so furious!
Since I recorded this video I've got it retuned and daaaamn it's so much better now =)
With leaving the stock intercooler installed did you consider getting the extra piping and running both the stock and front mount for a twinnercooler?
I'm not too concerned. I've never looked into it. Maybe I will now
Not a true mechanic if you don’t have your own made up phrases great vid I have a gti and this helped a lot
Thanks!
looks awesome
love the videos, keep at it man!
Thank you, appreciate it!
Very Great Video that is very precise as well
Thank you!
Very good video man! 👍🏾
Thank you!
Good information, you got my sub.
Thanks for watching 👀
Time for another 1/4 mile run!
Did you have any troubles with the arm intercooler connection leaking at the green o ring? Can't seem to get mine to seal.
Luckily I haven't had any issues
Invaluable, ty very much!
subbed!
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching
Which lifting system do you have at home? Interested on getting one for myself, but not idea which is a good option.
I have the quickjack 5000. Works pretty good and makes projects alot easier to work on
I would of cut mesh of with drimmel tool or oscillating saw lol
Nothing else matters christ Stapleton version!!!!! Yes!!!!!
Haha 👍
Where'd you get the intercooler brackets or did you have to make them? :o

Did the turbo muffler give you any extra turbo noises?
I think so? Lol I installed so many things at the Sametime, I don't know what mod made it louder. It's a lot louder now though.
LMFAOOO idk why but his kid in the back was kinda funny so random
Haha 😄 he's great 👍
@@BriGuy503 would you recommend removing the grille or keeping the grille on?

Could be a boost leak?
Have you ever thought about upgrading your turbo? If so which to which one?
Yea I will eventually upgrade the turbo. Still not sure what I'll go with though. But when I do, I'll make a video of the process.
you would go with the ko4

i too...

Just alot easier and quicker to install
Is it worth the added weight? Because I’m working on weight reducing not increase
Was this a Oem delete or did you leave the stock intercooler on And just hook up the fmic?
I left the stock intercooler in place and just installed the new intercooler infront of the stock one

Mine would not pass smog because of the catless downpipe. But when I have to go through smog, I just swap back to stock downpipe to pass.
@@BriGuy503 is that once a year or every few years?
@@thomaspelki5719 Every 2 years
@@BriGuy503 is it relatively easy to change out the downpipe? or you have to take it to the shop?
It's not too bad. Worst part is getting the car up in the air high enough to get under it. Probably a realistic 3-4hr job
put back the grill
How long did it take to install the intercooler?
I was installing alot of new parts at the same time, so its kind of hard to tell. But I'd say someone could do it in about 3-4hrs
Where did you get the yellow lense fog lights ?

Hey man probably too late for a reply. How is the ARM Intercooler holding up? Any heatsoak?
Works ok. I havent noticed a huge difference good or bad. Does it's job but I wouldn't say it's significant compared to stock
@@BriGuy503 thanks for the reply! Ended up getting a Neuspeed FMIC along with a Circuit Werks Downpipe and Catback.
Even with my clamps on the same direction as yours, my bumper has to be put on with quite force, did yours do on easily?
Yea same. Until I trimmed up the bumper to fit better. After trimming it, it fit easily.
Hey @briguy503 what did you cut exactly? Please help
