This was my father's favourite. When he made it he used to add fried coconut chips also. And closing the pot tightly he kept it for two days and only after that the dough was used to make the appams. It was so very soft and tasty. A pinch of salt was also added to balance.

I have achieved a very good Adhirasam output, using rice flour sourced from Amazon. So one can easily cut out the soaking and grinding of rice step. Also, water content should be reduced, as one wastes a lot of gas, just cooking jaggery and water, to make it thick
