The Gurkha soldiers were so brave that even Japanese soldiers feared them during World War II.
Really ?
@@christophermichaelclarence6003
The documents from that time say that the Japanese were tormented by Gurkha soldiers dressed in green clothes who would snipe at them from the treetops. For this reason, the Japanese troops marched to avoid villages where the Gurkha soldiers were.
@@usi-tmwegd Interesting. Thanks for enlightening me.
Soldiers from Nepal. Feared because of their skilled use of those knives. Fierce even in modern times. Read about Acting Sergeant Dipprasad Pun, who single handedly fought off an attack on his base by 30 Taliban insurgents, and continued the fight even after running out of ammunition.

Proud to have these Soldiers in the British Army....and we need to look after them better once they leave the Army.
Wonderful Gurkhas, we owe them so much. Thank you for your service.
I have so, so much love, respect and admiration for these chaps. Still with us after all we put them through and as loyal and brave as ever. We don't deserve them. God save the Gurkha. One love from Scotland. 💙
Excellent. These men are the fiercest and bravest soldiers of all . Very much respected in UK
They are the very best soldiers, we are so lucky to have them as part of the British military.
They have a rich history of being great warriors
Yes right....for me the British and the French have a Tremendous History which means they both Colonial Historic Colonial Rival and have the most military victories in the World
Harry is not worthy to clean their boots.

Thankyou for showing us this wonderful sight of the Bravest Soldiers of the 2nd WW. - Along with our own Wonderful Soldiers!! 🇳🇿💕💕
These guys are magnificent, they are totally loyal and exceptional soldiers. They deserve better recognition and would be my choice of protection at any cost. They used to be looked down upon and paid less by our ungrateful nation I hope that still isn't the case. Fantastic nation and soldiers they have my 100% respect.
Brilliant, thankyou for capturing these soldiers.
Watching at 1am here in America! Love your channel ❤ The soldiers uniforms with the bagpipes look awesome! They all look great!😊
The joys of being classified as light infantry ( despite being signallers): 140 paces a minute!
Simply the best along with our soldiers
Magnificent as always. Very proud of them. 🇬🇧🇬🇧
They are the best with our own British soldiers. Harry is not worthy to clean their boots or walk next to them.
@@alanphipps9987please keep your own likes and dislikes out of this! You spoil the whole time of this thread!!
We were with those wonderful people in Hong Kong in the 60s. You couldn't meet a nicer bunch of soldiers! They were so proud to be in the Btritish Army!
They are known to be very fierce in battle.
I am now a great grandma, but I have fond memories, as I had the privilege to meet soome of their wives, also.❤
Impressive. There's something fierce about them even in mundane movements - It took me awhile to realize the band was not carrying weapons. And a _knife_ inspection after laying their rifles on the deck!
Enjoyed watching
Those guys are amazing fighters. They'll fight to the death.....
And they are very friendly..
some years back not long before "lockdown" when I could come down to the Trooping of the Colour, after the event I always went to St James's Park and went to those shops at Horseguards to buy thing to give to my son as presents. and this young man came up to the gates and said to me. "Do you know what I am. to which I answered I certainly do young man and the smile on his face was beautiful so happy that I knew. we had a little chat before I went into the small shop the nearest one to the Palace to buy some gifts for my son. as I did every year. The ladies in the shop got to expect me after each and every event. I also loved their museum a bit lower down and I also went to the Chapel to look at all the banners commemorating the battles
Heroes one and all ❤
Thanks!
That is so very kind of you! I very much appreciate your support 🙏
Incredible thank you for your service 👏👏👏
Fabulous could watch all day
WOW!!!!!
The charm of uniform....i ❤
Fantastic . I would not like to get on the wrong side of the Gurkhas . They see to have the respect of both military and non military people . That was why the Agrarians give up in the Falklands . They herd a rumour we wear going to put them a shore
This is illiterate! Argentinians, heard a rumour ! good grief!
Ghurka's are awesome
One of our ‘ celebs’ was being given an award by the Queen when moving forward he stumbled slightly ,he said when he looked up one of the GURKAS behind the Queen had already taken a step forward and had his hand on his Kukri knife, he said his blood went cold.
Oh my word, is this true? The Gurkhas are just NOT to be messed with and I find it hard to believe at an award ceremony, the Gurkhas have the Kukri with them. Still, what do I know.? An exemplary, fearless group of men. So, so, relieved to know they still support the UK. We are, and should be, enormously grateful.
These Army Soldiers are mean fighting machines that for Sure my Dad had trained and worked along side of these People my Dad started off as a boy Soldier working up or down the Ranks from acting Lt Colonel then back to Major so in is life he did kind of well. I talking about 50 and 60 or 70s I don't remember much about him though he Was in the South Staffordshire Prince Of Wales 1st Battalion everyone knew him as Mike he loved Carnation Milk in his Tea. Can't say no more because I don't know
Wonderful. What a loyal, determined and brave man he must have been. God bless him, and our mighty Gurkhas. One love from Scotland. 💙
The band is phenomenal! Whose tartan is worn by the bagpipers?
Am I wrong but they always seem to play Scottish tunes lovely
These are the guys who, during World War II, would crawl up to a sentry and feel the boot laces to see if he was Japanese or British. Japanese soldiers used a criss-cross pattern on their boots while British soldiers had the straight over pattern. Guess you can work out what happened to those with a criss-cross pattern.
The brilliant Ghurkas!
Apparently, ⚡Static-Guard's⚡ not a requirement.
I do not understand why the officer conducting the inspection is a young white-skinned man. Are the Gurkhas all non-commissioned? Are there any Gurkha officers/
I thought it's the kings guard now?
Why are they the toughest soldiers?
Self discipline, mental attitude, training.
Check out Forces news how the recruitment process is done. Thousands apply .
That's before going to Catterick for training
Their Battle Honours are legendary. The standards are very high. The entrance test is hard and gruelling and only the very best get to be selected for further training into the British Armed Forces. The soldiers and their families see this as a great honour to serve the King and Commonwealth - personally I think it is a great honour for us.
You want to confront one of them? I wouldn't try it! They mean business.
Is he dead
The King is all over the place doing his work
