Well, I've never seen that before. A.soldier actually running, and a horse change out. Honestly, you capture a lot of interesting and somewhat unusual events. Thank you for posting from the US.👋😊
It has been filmed before..it is safer easier in the back loading and unloading horses than the busy Whitehall street vehicle traffic in front right side of horse guards. It is a more sensible switch. Quick with no traffic only some tourists guided away from the horse box truck. It is a sight to see. Those horses are beautiful. The troopers are very well trained to handle them.
Interesting to see the Oakley horsebox rear end suspension lower to make the ramp less steep. Just another little thing to help the guards' beautiful horses. I hardly think the horse was off to the dentist or farrier, with the officer going with him. I think it was a parade leaving from another location.
Here’s a bit of education for you: it’s kind and easy to teach others things they don’t know-gently. It’s unnecessary to scream and be hostile in your remarks. Screaming rarely teaches anything other than anger and hostility.
How unusual to see a soldier running !!! FYI the ‘truck’ is called a horse box Really don’t know how you manage to film so many videos with strange goings on
It sounded like Sir David Attenborough giving a nature commentary, “A very rare, unusual sight of a soldier running………………!!” Strange what people think is newsworthy. 😱
"Super rare"? It's not a daily occurence, but it's anything but "super rare". The only thing unusual about it is the duty officer / long guard commander leaving in a horse box.
This is a LONG time ago because there are no stands built yet fir he Trooping The Colors. Title says 1 month ago but not true. They’ve had stands with blue seats for months now.
The horses looked so similar, I had to keep looking for differences. So i looked at tail, hooves, mane, the rope around the neck - and still wasn’t absolutely sure. Then, after about 6 times looking at both, the last two at .5 motion, I finally found out the definitive difference. So, yes two different horses. Maybe some of you are horse people, but I’m not. (Oh! I forgot about height - to compare the horse to the horse soldier.) Anyway, I’m not telling, in case anyone wants to figure it for themselves. But, watch! I bet some of you see it right away 😺🐎🐎🐴🌷🌱
I can’t believe idiots take dogs to crowded places, I would never risk my dog having his feet trodden on, and the noise of people shouting and screaming, as if they enjoy it.
@@stevekazenwadel5423 No, absolutely NOT. "Army headquarters in London" is about a hundred metres away down Horseguards Avenue, in MoD Main Building in Whitehall. Horseguards is the location of two small Army offices - HQ London District and HQ the Household Division, both of which are administrative, and the Household Cavalry Museum. It's absolutely NOT "Army headquarters in London", and hasn't been since 1858!
Wonderful seeing how well the horses are being cared for❤
The best thing is when the soldiers take them to the beach at Holkam for the day. Check it out .
Thank you, its always lovely to see these special horses.
All the horses are amazingly beautiful animals blew the guards for having them
What?

Interesting.

Thank you lovely to see the horses and the troopers 🥰🥰
Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
We see another element in the lives of the guards + their horses, thank you!😁🐎💕
Wow, guess there was a problem, to look after. Thanks for running! John P.
Thank you!
It's called a horse box.
Fantastic 💂🐎🌟🤗💖 Ty for your service 💂 🐎

Loved the video😊😊😊
It's good to see what goes on behind the scenes.
Thank you very much ❤
Beautiful ❤❤Thankyou.
Beautiful horses ❤❤❤❤
Interesting thank you 🤩🤩💖
It has horses written on the truck. They also have horse ambulances, which always brings a smile to my face.
Thank you for sharing this. ❤️🇺🇸
Thank you ! Don’t think the scene needed any explanations. 😊

It's an extremely expensive Oakley Horse Box 😀
Carries 4 or 6 horses?
@@nellinightshade3358 Yes can carry 6.

Being in the right place at the right time.
Pedants must learn to be accurate.

This is not super rare!! It happens on a regular basis.
Sarcasm?

What are they all gawping at, a change of horse? Wow!
Very nice expensive lorry ,top of the range .
Well, I love the smell of horse, stable and leather
Interesting the tack goes with the horse
Tack is usually tailored to the horse.
Surprised there are not proper saddle seats instead of tossing it in on its side. Get a bent tree that way
@@WhirlyPearly There are saddle racks but I was surprised too. I take great care of my tack, especially my expensive saddle. X
Makes sense to take the horse and its tack at the same time. So, I’m assuming this was a single horse swap?
That is a very nice rig!
Keep Calm and carry on.
Love how the officer hot a ride back to Barracks..maybe it was his mount hoing in gor "service"...
A whole float for only 1 horse!
Horsebox.
Sandra, primero no es una carroza,y un caballo es grande apenas da para uno parece grande pero no lo es ese camión,
@@mariaesthervega5529Actually it can hold six.

Horsebox in reverse no signal sounded.?
Are the guards etc. assigned to one horse or do they switch horses frequently?

Horesy does not want to play, the soldier throwing the saddle -BAD
🇬🇧 Normally, when a truck is reversing it has a continuous, ' beeping ' sound.
The ‘horse box’ = truck would not want to scare the horses an inside of the vehicle, I presume that is why.
Not ones with horses on it
It’s a horse box not a truck.
Probably the horse leaving had a dental appointment. Or a date with the regimental farrier for new shoes...

lol undercarriage 😀
The truck in question is either called a horse box or a horse van (carrier).
The first horse came from the ministry of silly walks.
He had protective leg wear on as anyone can clearly see.
Soldiers run and drive.is not easy
How many horses does the horsebox hold?
8 I think
I can’t believe idiots take dogs to crowded places, I would never risk my dog having his feet trodden on, and the noise of people shouting and screaming, as if they enjoy it.
SO what exactly is happening here?
Folks are seeing working troopers, not the ceremonial ones.
The ceremonial ones are working too.
@@geliconner9669 I was just referring to those in ceremonial uniforms, not all the other jobs they do. Cloaks vs camo.
I Hope not for the Slaughter
"Truck"¿
You say truck...I say DAF... Not really the same thing 🙂
Perhaps that is the horse that had a meltdown the other day and badly bruise his rump slamming into the concrete at the box
I did not realize the back of the castle was such a mess. Such a very rich family and its a fixer. What is the old falling down relic?
This isn't a castle, it's Horse Guards Parade in Central London.
Castle? Where?

Time for new shoes. Or x-rays?
Argh! It's in the stew pot tonight.
Soldier got to eat.
