Nobody seems to have respect for these guys, after all they are working soldiers. Their horses are well trained, but they must get so fed up with the public. WELL DONE Lads.
I agree one hundred percent. The kings Guard worked hard to get the position they have they deserve the respect as do the horses they should not be put in a position that they have to fight for that respect. There is no way that they would ever get away with not showing respect to other soldiers or would they even do it. I ask the question why in hell are they allowed to disrespect the kings Guards when they would never disrespect the other soldiers they look up to them praise them, thank them for their service, this is what angers me that the kings guards have to fight for respect. There is something terribly wrong with this picture, I find it hard to believe that the kings Guards have to continue fighting for respect for their selfs their horses. Where in hell is the person in charge who can make changes put a stop to this abusive, disgusting, disrespectful. behaviour, do your job figure this mess out put a stop to this allow the kings guard the horses the right to enjoy their job instead of being tortured, abused, disrespected.
Why is it ssooo tempting to touch the reins, get yelled at when you do, and look up at the guard as if to say "you talking to ME"? No one needs to be that up close and personal to a guard and his/her horse while they are working. A simple "thank you" after being in THEIR personal space, would be appropriate. Thank you Abdullah
Couldn’t agree more with you. Tourists really think this is like a zoo at the Household Cavalry. They can do whatever they want. That place is considered like a Private Property Or simply they don’t understand what reins mean. You can clearly see the warning sign. Holding the reins is direspectful. Doesn’t belong to you They’re just bloody ignorants
💯 agree with all the videos that I have watched I can't see not even one tourist saying thank you to the kings guard's for letting them pat the horse or taking a picture of them
You wouldn't walk up to a dog and grab the leash. You wouldn't get in a car and grab the steering wheel. Why would you grab a horse's reins? Common sense and common courtesy aren't so common, I guess.
Sad statement of the failure of people to use their brains. Maybe people will finally learn if Ormond and Arnie bite and leave enough bruises. That or better steps taken to protect the guards and their horses.
Touching the reins has become another way of getting a reaction from the King’s Guards, hence the laughter afterwards. Those people do know better, but they might have the next TH-cam sensation!
I think the majority of people that come from different countries actually think these men are characters in costumes. They have no idea just how important their jobs are. I personally don't understand why the public is allowed to get so close and touch the horses. 🤦🏻♀️
That's exactly what I've been saying in one of the other videos I posted why is it that they don't put up a sign that says you cannot touch the horse cannot reach for the reins and stay a certain amount of feet away from the horse and the guard. I understand that a lot of people come from different parts of the the country and they want to take pictures and that's fine take your pictures take them home and show your friends but stop invading the horses space. Number one the guard is there working he is not your best friend number two the horse is not your pet stop petting him and stop trying to grab his reins you can't take him for a walk
I would think the tourists gathering around the horse and guard make their job even harder. Now they have to watch the tourists constantly and may miss something that truly needs their attention.
I’ve been watching your posts for a few months now, and it seems like many of these tourists act like touching the horse is akin to rubbing Buddha’s belly.
There's a horse with a sign next to it. Even if you don't read English you could ask someone for an explanation. Thank god these people aren't visiting a nuclear missile bunker.
These groups of tourists are usually with a guide, who speaks and understands English perfectly well. The way forward is to ban the guides who fail to advise their groups properly. The guides only concern is to get a big fat tip at the end.
They say ignorance is bliss, this lot are living in perpetual bliss due to their stupid ignorance. Don't they have schools in their countries to educate them how to behave in other countries. Love to see them try it in Middle East, N Korea and Russia, be going home in a box?
I thought the same thing. And do they run up to the horse if they saw one standing next to a fence u can bet they won't run up to it. So much DISRESPECT

They all seemed to be from the same group.

People either see the sign as a challenge ,or they are just stupid .The language is not a problem ,as any fool should know not to touch what is almost a steering wheel ,for the rider and horse.
I have a new appreciation for the phrase, "when in rome....." I understand all cant read english but its easy to see how one should act around these work horses. They are not pets.
The "When in Rome..." was perfect for this specific video, because the small group of Italian teenagers were very well behaved. None of them touched the horse or the reins and the adult with them even told them not to, "perché si scoccia." ("because it bothers the horse") They may not be from Rome specifically, but they're Italian and it looks like they observed "When in Rome...", pretty well. That's a 'rule' that way too many visitors don't observe in any country anymore.
3:20 the woman in purple that gets told to get off reins gives a huff of frustration like it was her horse ... sheesh ... how ARROGANT!! Man ... those old women 18:35 just don't like letting go of the reins do they, Guard finally shouted at the one in striped top.
Have these stupid people never seen a horse before, don't they have them in their country, obvious they don't know how to read, bloody big sign on the wall next to them, do they think it does'nt include them?
Check 3:20 too. Old bat in purple didn't like being told off, huffing and puffing like an old dragon. Wanted to grab her by scruff of the neck and force her to read DON'T TOUCH THE Reins, then ask her why she thought it did'nt apply to her?
Amazing to watch the videos of the Kings guards & their horses. Most tourist don’t even acknowledge the guard or his or her horse. They just walk up to both for a photo and then walk away. The Kings Guard & horse might as well be statues.

Hey, to all the tourists attention. If you are a horse, will you want to be touch by so many strangers whom you don't know. While you are on duty? You are actually abusing the guard and the horse. GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME , I BITE!!
This is not a petting zoo,the horse and guard are on duty working. I don't understand why some people are idiots, why do they have to pose or grab the reins of some persons horse then get mad when they're told to let them go.

There should be a fence to keep tourists away from the guard and his horse or a sign that says don't touch the horse.
... hast du das Schild nicht gesehen, Onkel User ?
Kauf dir schnell mal 'ne Brille !
I’m sorry but what part of don’t touch don’t people understand. They are doing there job leave the horses alone. Have some respect
These idiots have to be stop for the sake of the horse and guards
Why can’t they just take a picture of the horse and guard why do they feel they have to pose with them
Que obsesión de la gente por agarrar al pobre caballo, no entienden el significado de la palabra respeto, serán muy europeos pero no respetan, ellos no están haciendo esos plantones de gratis, ellos respetan a sus reyes, dios los bendiga❤
This video could be shortened to the incident. We don't need to watch every single touch . And that's title didn't happen
All of you that took a picture of yourself touching a horse like it’s a pet and not a military horse. Should be downright ashamed of yourself. ❤
The horse may tolerate you but he does not like you touching him. Stop!
Well said E!
Treat guards and horses with respect .keep friends away they are very disrespect ful
❤
I mean keep foreigners away they are very disrespectful
see,it,dont touch the reinss, get away from the horse!
Stop touching them. Period. Especially if you don’t know anything about horses.
Was diese schönen Tiere über sich ergehen lassen müssen ! Lasst ihnen doch etwas mehr Freiraum ,bitte !
It a tourist gets to close to the horse & its head comes down on the tourists head boy would they know about it & it wouldn't be the horses fault.
This needs to stop.😡
