Same here 😂 Apple is shady these days and they screwed me regarding Apple care. So I just pre ordered the flip 6 crafted black. I added Samsung Care and I’m hoping they aren’t shady like Apple care

I watched a lottt of videos about the flip6 since it came out and never felt like I got the real answers for the real stuff (like the open and close jeezzz) until now with your vid. This is def the best unboxing and review Ive seen so thank you for that!!!
As a soon to be first time Z Flip owner I truly appreciate those practical examples you showed using the phone. Most reviewers showcase the phone for folks who have already experienced previous versions. But this will be my first and it's nice to know the fingerprint sensor sits where my thumb would naturally be. Also cool to see how the unlocking features will work in a practical way.

The best part about samsung is that although their phones are expensive, they have so many deals and offers that you almost never pay full price for it
This is what a lot of people don't realize. They complain about price hikes and assess the phone on the retail price but no one is ever paying that amount
Samsung definitely has the best deals when getting a new phone it’s awesome.

For real. I have the iPhone 15 pro max, but decided to buy this one and I paid more for my iPhone than the flip6 and it has more storage than what I paid for with the iPhone. And I bought both of them through pre-order and i got more deals with Samsung. You don’t even get deals with Apple.
@@asdfghjkl52472 the deals depend on what country you are in. With Canada I know you can get free Samsung care for a year when you pre-order which is a good deal with how much more you pay for the phone there than the US. With the US I saved $220 with the $120 they took off for pre-order and another $100 from applying my capital one savings.
My favorite part of having the flip 5 is seeing people faces after telling them i have a flip phone😂
Yeah the flips generate the most conversation for me too lol. Even moreso than the Fold surprisingly

@ogikay7056 honestly I really enjoy it so far! The only thing that kind of sucks is trying to share videos with my friends or family with iphones, the quality looks really weird or I have to share it as a Google photos link. Other then that it's an awesome phone!
I love Samsung phones, but i hate that they keep raising the prices without giving us much change. I probably wont ever buy the flip series because the more delicate screen and higher cost isn't worth it over just getting a regular phone, but for the fold, id be ok with paying the higher price if they gave us the Ultra cameras. built in S pen, and a slightly bigger outer and inner screen

So stoked to get this upgrade! I kept the Z4 and skipped the Z5, and I couldn't be happier to now upgrade to the Z6... such an upgarde and it just looks so beautiful! Really happy about the new battery and new camera upgrades! Thanks for the honest review!

Looks great ...to those who are confused these are same as the previous model is incorrect... apart from the obvious upgrades like photo and battery ,the whole operation is so much quicker and smoother ... if you try in person you'll see it really is a different animal.

Upgrading from S20 to flip 6,choice was between S24 and flip 6, S24 misses out on many things which flip 6 has ,so decided to go for flip6
I just hope they solve the screen separation problem after about a year of regular use. I am not buying another flip until they do. Talk about planned obsolesence.

I have the Flip4. Just ordered the Flip6 today through Verizon. Got a $400 trade-in for my Flip4 (if you order directly through Samsung they have a $500 trade-in value for the 4). I ordered from Verizon just for convenience. They are also offering a free upgrade to 512gb vs the standard 256gb. I'm looking forward to it primarily for the new lens upgrade. Photos and videos from the Flip4 are disappointing, especially since Samsung is known for its superior lens technology. In addition, the new AI capabilities (which were not even mentioned in this video) are outstanding. I'm heading to Europe in a few weeks and look forward to using the new language AI capabilities. One more thing that was not covered in this video: the vapor chamber for heat diffusion. It doesn't sound like a big deal but it is. The Flip4 gets VERY hot when connecting to bluetooth devices or Android Auto. The vapor chamber is designed to disperse the heat. All in all a very nice upgrade to an already great product.
Camera lens stabilization now operates more quickly, and the system functions with improved sharpness and speed. Additionally, the image quality is sharper with better resolution.
It's funny you mentioned the little foot coming off because on my flip 4 the same exact foot was hanging on by a thread, and I super glued mine back on before it came completely off
I was planning to get this, but after checking it last day, I changed my mind. The reason is "not a good camera and lower screen brightness (inside). But if you only care about its "flipping design and AI," then you are good to go.
I was gonna buy it tomorrow but I'm so mad that I can't use an sd card on there that I'm seriously reconsidering

I sprang for a flip 4, was deliriously happy with its pocketability, then the hinge failed 3 months out of warranty. So all I want in another flip phone is a stronger hinge. Sounds like the improved dust resistance may be what can make that difference.

Hi! I am upgrading from an iPhone 11 which one would you recommend to upgrade to? I am thinking wither an iPhone 13 128 gb ($446 w/trade in) or the Samsung Z Flip 6 512gb ($765 w/trade in and education offer). Please let me know.
Camera upgrade in this fleps is a bit possible because of the compact and small size of the phone the possible upgrades is bigger battery & faster charging & performance, but i am looking for a little increase in the width and it will be perfect 👌
Fair enough. The narrow aspect ratio is part of the charm of this phone in my eyes but I understand most people want a more conventionally sized phone
I'm going to be upgrading my phone to the z flip 6 after using my pixel 6a, so, I'm hoping that the 100% increase in ram and 100% increase in storage will last me more than the time it takes to pay off the phone, plus, since my roomate got the flip 5, I've wanted a flip style phone for a while
I am also upgrading from pixel 6 a.Lol, we are in the same boat ⛵ Let's see where it takes us this time 😅

i was wondering about the hinge actually. if it’s easier to open, does that mean it’s weaker the farther it opens? also, does it have the 10x zoom that went viral on the 24 ultra? and also, i heard that z flip 5 cases don’t fit the 6 the right way but 6 cases fit the 5 perfectly.

Thanks for sharing some of your initial thoughts. I preordered this on launch day. It will be my first flip. I waited for this iteration for the improved camera experience over its predecessors. I'm hoping it does well compared to its competitors like the Moto Razr ultra. Cheers
Razr will be some tough competition. Outer display on those look really nice. Price is right too. But Razr historically had bad cameras for me (watch my razr 2023 review to see horrendous video). Excited to compare them!
@@ShaneSymonds saw a comparison video today and man the Razr pictures looked pretty good if a bit over saturated. However the video was decent enough but I did see it stutter a few times.

Glad to hear it! Flip 3 was honestly my favorite form factor of all the flips. Very nice opening/closing experience. Battery was just on the lower end for me
The only thing I didn't like of the flip 6 is that they cut off the purple/lavender color, and I feel like it's too iconic to not be in this line up, I wish it would've been added as an internet exclusive at least :/
I had that color on a review unit for the Flip 3. It was a nice one

the washed out colors on the s24's were fixed with an update like 2 months ago. My s24 looks nice and vibrant

@boom5732 Despite samsung fixed the issue, it's still washed out compared to my flip5. I know that because I have both of the phones, s24+ and flip5.

I'm thinking about moving from S21 Ultra to Flip6. What concerns me if the camera quality is simillar between those two? I mean if pics taken by Flip6 would be at least as good as onesntaken by S21U? And the most important thing: can we run all apps on the outside screen on Flip6 (as it can be done on Motorola 50 ultra)? Or we need to open and close Flip6 everytime we want to do anything?
All apps can run on the outside screen. And you are definitely missing out on a 10x optical zoom on this compared to S21 Ultra. Flip 6 can zoom 10x digitally but the quality isn't as good. Also you'd sacrifice 100x zoom down to just 10x zoom. No S Pen support or DeX either. If you can live without those compromises, this will be an enjoyable switch for you

It still has that polarized look, but the improved crease makes it slightly less bad lol

Took a while for the Z Flip to get matching cameras from the Fold
We still have a zoom limitation (10x digital zoom vs 30x on fold), i really want a telephoto lens on this phone because it's so nice to take pictures and videos with

I can imagine it’s abit more durable but still will never be as durable as a regular phone so if your looking for durability your probably best off getting the s24 or s24 plus and they’re cheaper than the flip 6 and have better specs

I'm a Flip5 owner and although I'm very happy, the purchase bonuses available in my country are giving me a headache and thinking about switching.
The original price in my country for the Flip6 is $1,245. If I trade in my Flip5, I'll get a $450 discount plus a $214 "Trade-in Flip6" bonus, so the final price of the Flip6 would be around $581, which is already something very hard to ignore. Ideas, advice? :D

I'm trading in my Fold 3 for Flip 6. Fold 6 is too expensive for what's being offered, i just don't feel like its worth the upgrade from a fold 3.

I have the razor ultra wouldn't recommend, Samsung is better, it keeps getting hot, and now I'm always charging the phone, I'm upgrading this to Samsung zflip 6
I thought by now they would've added a wider screen on the outside.
Not much you can do width wise, I was expecting a height change with filling more space at the bottom
