It's basically a desktop level PC you can fold and put in your pocket, with a front screen purely for some added convenience. Absolutely glorious, is how I would describe my experience with it.
I'm a foldable guy and I've kinda stayed from the clamshells but... Samsung seems far more invested in the flip than the fold series...I'm close to adding the flip 6 to my collection...it looks like a lot more fun that before.

I've always been a fan of phones that I can actually freaking *_pocket._* The Z Flip, and other phones like it have always appealed to me for two reasons: 1) as a teenager who grew up with flip phones, I'm nostalgic for them. 2) every other smartphone is ginormous, and some of them are wannabe tablets... Which is also why I don't care for the $2,000 plus folds

After a year of considering a flip phone I finally got one about 1 days ago . I was deciding between the Motorola razr and the Z flip. But I got a deal on the flip through my carrier . So far I like it . Different from my P7P. I definitely like the "stock" android of the google pixel better . But its only been 2 days
I am not someone who keeps upgrading phones but the reason why I ended up with this phone was because I needed a phone with more storage and I came across with this flip 6" I am really happy with my phone .
I love my Flip 6; it's so much fun. I just hope that in the future, they can make the folding screen a bit more durable. It's very easy to damage at the moment, but that's the only issue. I still love the foldable form factor.
i have a flip5 and you're right it just feels way more comfortable carrying on day to day basis now i can never go back to a traditional slab phone cause it's too big to fit in pocket or hold around
Had mine for 2 weeks so far. Had flip 4 years ago and man big upgrade. For the 7 in the future hopefully bigger battery, lower finger print sensor, and faster charging and phone will be even better!
The upgrades are definitely worth it, even coming from a flip 5. I dont have battery anxiety anymore, the phone doesnt run that hot, and it has consistent daily performance on top of the other things that already made it magical in the previous model

Definitely considering changing my S23 Ultra for the flip, although I might hold off to see if the next gen has more zoom. I got a question : what if u use an app that isn’t supported for fold devices, like if u used nova launcher in it, and u closed the phone, and again open, so would it bug? Like glitch or something?
The ZFlip6 seems cool especially the crafted black one, but $400 more is too much compared to the Razr- 2024 for $699 which is still alot of money. The Razr- 2024 is my first flip phone it’s awesome, and the best phone I have had.

the biggest discount you can get on a samsung phone is always to not buy directly from samsung I got mine for 400€!! less than on their website, the 150€ trade-in (that I wouldn't have gotten because you basically gotta trade up a new phone) wouldn't really have made a dent I'm really having fun with it though, not sure if the novelty will wear off, but whenever I get to use it's folding it feels so cool :D
I really don't care that much about the durability of flppables and foldables. My problem is how bad the aftersales service of Samsung here in my country.
At min 1:56, what cover screen is that? I like it. I too have the flip 6 and actually really like it. I have the s24 ultra and went to it for half a day before I said I like the flip 6 to much
It's a excellent phone. If your looking for a flip phone it's the best. Remember this is new technology. So they can't do everything we would like at once. They have to make things happen but not to where the phone will catch on fire. But outside of that you will have zero issues with this phone. The side button may be a problem for you guys with little fingers. But for us normal people you can reach. And as far as shape edges go, there isn't. And on top of that, you will more than likely buy a phone case. If you want nip pick then I'm sure you can find something. But the phone is great and I love it. The fold is what I wanted but couldn't bring myself to spend $2,000 again. For a phone if the screen messes up they will ask me to pay up to $500 to get it fixed. It's what happened to my Z fold 3. And I bought it straight up. Anyways love the flip 6😊
@@PeteMatheson yes I do, that's why they belong in the thumb side of the phone. Your 4 other fingers don't have to move and change the device grip to reach the volume.
Yes it is - but I wouldn't recommend doing what I did with salt water / sand. Probably the worst combination :D But generally speaking, it's rated for water up to 1.5m for 30m - albeit in their 'lab conditions' testing.
Putting it on the sand is absolutely misleading and could coz viewoers phones getting ruined because of you. It's only protected against particals greater than 1mm Sand and dust is less than 1mm. This is absolutely paid review!
lol, if only. I did mention this in the video! It has improved dust resistance but small particles can still work their way in. I just like testing these things out since it’s kinda my job here!

Yes, the phone is great, but after the money has been handed over, Samsung's customer service is shameful and must be the worst in the industry.
Had my flip 4 underwater lots of times. I wash it with soap and water under the tap with warm water, never had an issue

I haven’t taken any video calls on this phone to be fair, but generally speaking it’s not felt hot in my hand, ever
