Im doing carnivore diet since almost 2 years, I do some raw cheese as well because I grow up in a farm where I was doing a lot of sheep cheese. Since doing the carnivore 98% grass fed beef, my health issues all gone( high sugar, high blood pressure, high triglycerides) i did my blood work and my triglycerides were 39 after 1 year. In too of this Im able to do what I love , Im able to run half marathon daily and I don't feel crushed
Love your channel Dante. Ignore the Trolls
Someone will always find something to argue about Dante. You’re getting the word out there and for some peoples Information… some can NOT exercise because of injury or illness and need to try healing first. Carnivore helped my unbearable spinal injury pain enough that I was able to get out of bed. I couldn’t even get a shower without a LOT of pain and tears. Inflammation is so much better now. Spine is still compromised greatly but It isn’t so bad I want to die anymore.

Woah. I just watched the 125 day lion diet transformation from 3 years ago and had no idea you were the same guy lol. I've seen you on podcasts and stuff and had no idea it was you lol Keep killing it man 👊👊

Mr. Dante, I finally was able to cook my first steak in my new DREO. OMG, it was beautiful, and tasty, and the crispiness of the edges of was like the candy of which you speak. 🤣 so glad I took your advice on the purchase. Also, cleanup couldn’t be easier. Thank you, sir.
Dante well said! One month on carnivore! Secondary progressive MS and hard walking but changes happening I am sure but patience and forbearance my only focus for now! Was keto before for a few months. Your encouragement to listeners is great. We cannot compare ourselves with others ...that is true and healing in itself :)
💪🏽😎💯
Thank you for your wise words and example. We appreciate you! 🙏🏻
Hey Dante, good afternoon! Couple things; yeah people I know say I lost weight b/c I exercise. I tell them quick no I got healthy and lost weight thru carnivore first THEN started exercising. Which for me is walking and body weight strength training.
The gentlemen, that thought “frying” foods are bad and you said b/c of the seed oils they’re fried in. That’s true and usually fried for most people means covered in flour too.
Thanks I started the lion diet 2 months ago. I was 365 pounds now 7 20 2024 321 pounds. My knees was killing me with pain.NOW I'm at the gym Five days a week. All the way from Hawaii. Mahalo
Dante,
Here is my experience. I have been on this journey for 14 years, slowly eliminating all the foods I was eating. I only eat ribeye steaks now, but have been a carnivore for over 6 years. So I started with all the processed foods & everything white (grains etc) which went straight away & my weight fell off 5 stones in 5 months. I also started cycling & I have catalogied every time I have been on my bike plus at times I have kept detailed food diaries over all these years (I am about to hit 50,000 miles). A few years ago the veg & fruit went which wasn't a lot, but for a long time my weight would go up & down & sometimes my BP would climb which confused me as I was & stiil am very fit for my age (65). The guy who trolled you about the lion diet is not necessarily incorrect but what I have found & I have the records to prove it & now the body as well, is that there was a significant change in my body composition & my bike performance is way better (& it was good before!). The Irony is that I do considerable less exercise than before & can have long periods of inactivity (The winter time), yet my body & strength & speed have all improved & all return within a couple of rides after my layoffs. And my weight dropped 3 kgs when I ditched the eggs 12 months ago. I am now the same weight as my age i.e. 65KG (10st) & 5 feet 9 (21.5 BMI), and it stays steady, it barely moves. The problem is & Dr Chaffee alludes to it, is that we have false sense of what we are truly capable of, because we have been & most still are operating sub-sub-optimally. I am not sure anyone knows what true optimun looks like but rest assured it is way higher than any scientist or health 'expert' could imagine. So your troll while partly correct is deluding himself & simply settled for a low bar on the chart because it probably was a significant change from what he had. I thought I was close to reaching a plateau but was I wrong! It also tells you how low our health agencies 'normal' person ideal really must be.
You have a good channel & have a great outlook on life. Take care & love to you & your family

I started Keto a couple of months ago, I am almost doing carnivore. I had arthritis in my shoulders to the extent that I could not do a lot of things, climb trees during hunting season, for example. I am now able to do pushups, pullups, started sprinting, and not pain in my shoulders. Thanks for the content!
I am really glad to hear that because usually it takes doing strick Lion Diet for most of the similar experiences I have heard about, and in my experience I still can't eat veggies without them stirring up my laeky gut pains. I don't care to eat veggies anymore so it's not a problem, but you get my point. I am happy you're doing so well on Keto. God bless you on your continued journey to better health!
@@FerrignoFreedom , I appreciate it. I haven't really lost a lot of weight yet but so far, and I hope it stays this way, I'm doing pullups, bench and shoulder presses, sprinting, things I could not do in a long while. I love your channel and God bless you and your family.
@@jacob4047 thank you Jacob! 😎👍🏽
Hello,
I watched your carnivore journey and it inspired myself. I'm 49 385 pounds and well food is my drug of choice! So my questions are: is store brand hamburger meat good to buy? Ie kroger, food city ect. Like 80/20? Also you mentioned a cheap way to get your electrolytes in water. And use big chunks of salt in your water. Here I'm confused, in that what salts can so use in my water to keep up my electrolytes? I have hemylian pink salt ATM and I've heard to use no salt for added potassium? Thank you so much for your videos! You are truly an inspiration!
Honestly, whatever you can afford that is unprocessed with no added ingredients will work. Obviously there are some things that are better than others, but don't let what you can afford hold you back. I eat store bought ground beef 90% of the time. I can't afford steaks, especially ribeyes. I also used a lot of pink salt. As long as your salt only has 1 ingredient: salt, then use it. I have been eating basically store bought ground beef and my own chicken eggs for most of my journey and I lost over 100 lbs in the first 6 months or so. My blood pressure is down to the point that I'm off my medications. In fact, I'm off all 6 of my medications and no longer use a CPAP at night. I have eaten grass fed beef straight from a butcher maybe once or twice. The rest of the time I ate just standard beef. The only more expensive item I buy is Kerrygold butter. Give it a shot, it will change your life.
One tip: when your are starting out, eat every time you are hungry and use lots of salt. Get some potassium and magnesium supplements such as the ones from relyte and LMNT without flavor. You won't need it forever but it does help you feel better in the beginning. I eat sardines sometimes to get some iodine which also helps.
I love your comments and agree with you on so many things! I just hit my 1st anniversary on Carnivore. In the first 8 months, I lost 40 pounds and exercised. However, after that, I changed my schedule, and I am working much more, about 12 hours a day, which is all desk work. I could not have mentally done that without the benefits of Carnivore and the added mental focus. Interestingly, with the decrease in physical activity, the scale is not budging, and I am staying at 170 pounds, but I am noticing more fat on my body. I don't mind because I plan on adding in more physical activity when I change jobs in the near future. FYI- I can't wait because I want to start RUCKING! I already got my vest.
😎👍🏽
Hi Dante! As a new member I enjoy your videos! I'm curious on your burger how do you cook it to keep as much fat as you can? (I use 83/27 ground beef also) My gall bladder was removed in 2000. Having IBS there were times I'd go 3x or more a day. It's different not going everyday when I did for the past 35 years. Sugar is definitely an addiction for me that I struggle with. I decided to try a carnivore diet after my treatments for prostate cancer. I feel better and down 30 pounds,
Best

Air frying a 1 lbs burger for 15 minutes at 380°F, only opening the air fryer and removing after 1-2 minutes seems to work great or cooking to med or med well in chef mode on the ChefMaker works great. I lose a little fat and moisture, but they still come out super juicy.
Thanks Dante! Continue on! ☺️
I was 19 when I “had” to get my gall bladder removed, was on a low fat diet at the time because that was what was being taught. Luckily havnt noticed much difference since getting it removed, this was 18 years ago
Great content Dante
Steaks > Cakes
Hey Dante! great video love the motivation. I need to stay focued too, im currently on day 15 and down 10lbs! - carnivore works however slightly still tired but appetite is down also. OMAD can be easy on this for me.
I find your videos very motivational. I've only been carnivore 30 days now, but the benefits are noticeable. Maybe you can do a video on how to manage eating out? I don't like eating out, but my wife does....Best from Homosassa fl
On Lion Diet, I generally don’t eat out because it’s like pulling teeth to get people to understand what I even need them to avoid without going into the kitchen and watching them. They don’t even know what not to do that might seem in incidental but is actually crucial like not using spray oil on the grill, or a salt and pepper mixture, or butter (that probably isn’t butter), etc.
I will still give the video idea some more thought. 😎👍🏽🥩💧🧂
Love your motivational content and above all your dedication to the life style. One question… how can you or anyone never having another piece of pizza or a jumbo lump crab cake? Or whatever it is. Can’t wrap my head around that concept.
By realizing that nothing tastes better than feeling good feels. That doesn’t mean ease of access and general impulsivity doesn’t lead even me to make the occasional mistake, but they get fewer and farther between.
@@FerrignoFreedom thanks for your input and comment. It’s very challenging for someone in the food business but also believes in the connection of health issues and diet. Thanks again Stay well and have a blessed day.
@@bobpattison1739 I understand completely. I spent the last two years working in fine dining. They usually give us meals, but rarely anything I can eat.
🐝thanks for the great video🌻
I have never heard of anyone on the Carnivore diet having constipation. Yes, the whole idea of needing fiber is just not true at all.
Gotta ask, since only eating meat. How much is the portions. Like the hamburger meat patty you made as well as steak portions? How many times a day? Thanks for the info and your time.
@jamespooly66 ok Thank you so much for this! I heard the electrolyte packets are pricey I think thats why he put big chunks of salt in his water overnight. But I heard to use like no salt as well for potasium. Also I know excercuse is important what about loose skin after loosing the weight? Is there alot if any at all?
Glad to hear you are doing so well! How did you handle the detox when you were losing weight?
I don’t know what you mean. As far as I know, I never had a problem with eating fat except occasionally when I ate too much when I went high fat carnivore.
@@FerrignoFreedom sorry, I phrased that oddly. I meant when you were losing weight, did any stored toxins make feel crappy? I've read about the switchover being really rough with pain. Hoping that didn't happen for you. Maybe it's not a definite.
I was not aware of any such issues.
@@FerrignoFreedom that's awesome to hear. Maybe it just happens to some. Thank you so much!
Can use olive oil to cook with on lion diet ?
Or just drink a sip a day like I have been doing for about a month before lion diet
IF you’re doing the Lion Diet for gut issues like leaky gut or any of the autoimmune related disorders olive oil is the kind of thing you should try to reintroduce after at least six weeks of only ruminant meat water and salt. Then you can see if it has a negative impact on your progress.
If just doing the Lion Diet for weight loss it probably won’t hurt a thing.
Awwwww. I was so happy to see the pups get a little smackerel after watching so intently🥰
I started the Lion diet on 6/15/24 with the hops that it might help with allergies and lung issues, I have asthma and copd. Have you heard any thing from people that might give people like me hope? There are a lot of us with lung issues. It seems the diet may be helping to keep me healthier and I have lost 16 lbs in 40 days.
He ain't LION!

I have a really crazy scenario i'm experiencing. I'm 34/ I used to eat meat a lot, basically carnivore for 2 years. Whenever i eat meat now, no matter the kind, I get back pain in my mid-right side. I've had to go Vegan basically to get rid of the pain because that's the only thing that helps is not eating meat. I know i'm not getting enough protein anymore and my body is turning into a flubber. Dr's don't know what's going on either. It seems like a muscular issue that's triggered with animal protein. Any experience with this? I'd really like to eat meat again but I'm scared because I know the pain get's pretty bad. I've tried physical therapy, yoga, etc. and nothing helps.
I’ve been doing carnivore for a few weeks. I am doing great except that I’m burping a lot through out the day and sometimes getting acid reflux. What can I do?
I’ve not had that at all. Are you seasoning your burger with anything other than salt?
@@FerrignoFreedom sea salt and a little pepper. I eat ribeye throughout the week, some bone in pork chops, 80/20 burger (not much) on the weekend. Haven’t had eggs for a week now. Eggs don’t seem to affect my digestion at all.
@@APatchworkCanvasSome people don‘t handle pork that well and also many say black pepper causes them to have inflamation. Best to change to white pepper or leave it out altogether, just salt your meat.
@@Rocketscientist66 after typing my previous reply I thought maybe it is the pepper, but then I’m also thinking HOW could that cause so much trouble lol but I will try it. Thanks!
@@APatchworkCanvas My partner can't have any pepper, it gives her heartburn and burps a lot. Cut it out completely for a couple weeks and see if you improve.
And how do you feed your kids when keeping other foods out of the House? It's a dichotomy. Skinny people, not skinny people in same household.
It’s a battle, but I’ve been able to reduce the quantity of processed junk that is in our house by constantly teaching them about ingredients. It’s a fine line you have to walk because you can’t force people to eat better. I do require them to store their other foods away from where my food is stored. I don’t want to see it when I go to get healthy food to eat. I will cook them carnivore meals, but I will not participate in preparing anything with processed food or sugars for them.
I have been able to get them completely off of seeded oils so that’s a big victory.
My children are adults now. I was an old school mom. They did not eat junk foods simply because I never bought any. Some things were junk but because I myself was not educated. We never had soda or sweets though. Chips were very rare, and sweet cereals. I did buy fruit of their choice. It was a treat if I made something sweet or bought a bakery treat… key lime pie was a favorite. I do miss that darn pie.
@@FerrignoFreedom I'm so tired of making a huge effort and it doesn't get eaten. Even the old one can't see the connection. Hoping to get people on board rapidly. Thx.
