@Matthew W Jr. Hasch It didn't live up to the hype that the devs themselves set up for it. A good amount of players liked 3 (and it had very solid gameplay and some great multiplayer) but the endings seemed extremely lazy, with the extended cut being a band-aid fix that at least added a bit more substance. Even then, it just seemed like the developers sorta gave up on all the themes from the previous games to double down on the theme of ME3's 'war sucks". Of course, it doesn't address the fact that the ending is actually letting the villain dictate how the player wins with all the options aligning with the enemy's goals. That lead to the whole indoctrination theory people had because the second game was so set on beating the odds that the constant PTSD flashbacks and uselessness of the main character in cut-scenes (and general lack of Paragon/Renegade interrupts during cut-scenes) made people think the main character was indoctrinated.

The Campaign was great. Its what i play 90% of the time i boot that game up.
All I want is a new star wars game where I can stay on the dark side. I knew as soon as this game came out she'd flip sides.
Zetkin why? they marketed their game around being able to play as the empire but you switched sides after like 3 levels. The rest is predictable, fall in love with the guy you left with and spend the rest of the campaign fighting your father and hask. The graphics and everything was great but the plot was seriously lacking in my opinion
Brian Mullins Star Wars squadrons has a story mode where you can choose to be empire or rebels.
Say what you will about Mass Effect 3, I just replayed it and watching the faces of everyone you failed to save or sacrificed roll by with that soft piano in the background breaks me everytime.
Undeserved to be put at #1 compared to all the other games on this list. Laughed out loud when they unveiled it.
I played it after the extended cut was released and honestly just didn't think it was that bad. I still think the 3 colour ending is a bit disappointing, but it doesn't negate the journey that brought me to that point, and it was an incredible journey.
As someone who read the prelude novel to Battlefront II: Inferno Squad, I absolutely stand by Iden's decision to defect. There was lot leading up to it, much of which she expresses while on Endor. Vardos was the last straw for her, because it was a loyalist planet. What's the point of loyalty if you get the same treatment as traitors?
True yeah I listened to the book also it is great just a little disappointed when she left but you know
Sure but this is a story mode that hyped you up with playing as the bad guys but NOPE instead you get heal turned before you can really get invested in the story seriously that's one of the many problems with EA alongside the overpriced and shoved in your face microtransactions.

I read the book before I even knew the game existed, so when I found a walkthrough on TH-cam I watched it more as a continuation of her story rather than a video game.
Yea but we all wanted to see the Empires pov and yes we did for like a few missions but that was it...we want the FULL experience it just turned it a rebel story also the story was a little mediocre
They advertised the game as playing an Imperial. Her defection ruins that.

Pretty much. The whole point of the Marauder is to challenge the Doom Slayer. Much as the bastard was annoying to deal with, the Statisfaction of that Glory Kill is always worth it!
Just use the ballista on the marauders and super shotgun on the tentacles
I played through the whole game and while the Marauder was definitely one of the hardest parts, it was also the most rewarding getting a glory kill on that bastard.

The sequel had to be done to be honest to expand the world of the last of us giving us things we’ve would’ve never seen in part one BUT they also had to give a great story to meet exceptions with part one. They got one of those two things right.
I'll admit, the Marauders drove me absolutely insane when I first fought them, but the rocket launchers splash damage is very helpful.

My favorite thing about the vanilla ending to Mass Effect 3 was how they forgot that in The Arrival DLC it was established that destroying a Mass Relay destroyed enormous swathes of the galaxy. Meaning that when Shepard inadvertently destroyed the Mass Relays to save all advanced civilization from being wiped out by the Reapers, he destroyed most, if not the entire galaxy, including not-yet-advanced species.
That’s depending on the ending you got. The arrive dlc was completely destroying a relay with and astroid, smashing it.
But if you have the best ending for the 3 colors only the rings of the relay are broken. Relays mostly stayed intact.

When I heard that in Star Wars Battlefront 2 you were playing as the empire, I was so happy because we could see it from their point of view.
Until turncoat and I haven't played it since.
I find that pretty ironic, since the first Battlefront 2 did just that. I'm happy the ended the story on Hoth though as it would have been disheartening to have been defeated on Endor.
Play it in the PS2 version of the game, if you haven't already, it's much better
The 2005 classic is much better in almost all aspects. You can even make your own galatic campaign and be the Emperor or rebel leader.

Even in the original Wind Waker, I never hated the Triforce Quest. Tingle gave me a map showing where to where to get a bigger wallet and mailed me another map showing where I should look for the Triforce Charts. Plus, near every Triforce chart location, the jars are chockful of so many rupees, that I never had too much trouble meeting Tingle's fees
I agree, The Arson Cases from L.A Noire taught the players the motives as to why Cole Phelps had done what he did to his wife, it also developped the relationship between Jack Kelso and Cole as they were distant after being in the war together

WiiGuy2014 I was going to say that the criticized the backtracking...the backtracking in skyward sword is so much worse! Also, she mentions the fact that they updated dark souls and failed to mention (at least I didn’t hear it) that the later version doesn’t require as many rupees and such.

In DOOM Eternal the marauders are tough at first until you realize their AI, it's really predictable after a few tries. Just combine the super shotgun and the Ballista and boom, he's dead.

The LA Noire's Arson cases were originally DLC.
Only one of the arson cases is DLC. The rest are in the main game.
I didnt find the arson cases too bad.
I found the homicide missions to be the most infuriating. "Hey, you know those cases you solved? Actually you didn't." It all ends in a shootout with the real killer. There were even clues through them that this was the case, but you were not allowed to follow up on them.

The batmobile tank section in Arkham Knight were fun, it was just that there too many of them. Driving the batmobile in normal mode is incredible

Tales of Zestiria's Alisha controversy. A lot of long-time Tales series fans felt a sense of betrayal at what seemed like a loveable character being written out and what amounts to an ascended extra taking her place. The extra $10 dlc story felt more like an extra slap in the face than anything else.

A lot of salty TLOU2 players incoming! They don't get that it's the catalyst for the entire narrative and people will think about it completely differently in only a few weeks....they'll be extra salty for a few days and give the game 1 star review and not review an amazing game on its own merits or for taking major risks.... they just want TLOU again, exactly the same, no twists or turns or risks, nothing to challenge us, make us think, shock us....just the same thing again. The major criticism of TLOU2 is that people wanted it to be safe. That's it. That's the real reason for the salt and anyone who has played it knows why.
Trundu no, people don’t want lqbqt shit shoved down their throat, all the social justice warriors got to naughty dog and they were pressured to put all that lqbqt stuff in the game, that’s why they edited the trailers and made it misleading because if people knew that they were going to shove lqbqt shit down their throats no one would buy it.
There are risks and twists, and there are also horrible twists and risks that ruin established characters. Joel dies, because he goes in a strangers camp like an idiot, even though in the first game we specifically see him killing strangers on sight, because he knows that 99% of the time, they mean trouble.
So enjoy your shitty sequel, that sacrifices everything the first game set up, just to "subvert expectations".
TLOU 2 is a good game but it's has a lots of bad things in the story mode They introduce us to an unknown girl nobody cares of,The intro is just Joel Saying a bad joke,and Ellie saying to her friend's boyfriend that she kissed his girlfriend,Joel gets killed by the unknown girl nobody cares of,Ellie's friend got pregnant with Ellie and it's didn't have any damn sense(Trust me I'me a doctor),we have to play the unknown girl nobody cares of,and also they are a cult of racist with people who have maked a controversy.

Arkham Knight was brilliant even with the Batmobile sections, yes but the Batmobile sections kind of felt like deadweight but still
I loved the batmobile sections. I hated the fact that you could use the batmobile's tank mode when you weren't fighting against other tanks.

It's crazy how good the Ghostbusters video game was. I loved every minute of it. Granted the level mentioned was crazy difficult but I beat it after 70 tries haha.
Mass Effect Andromeda. That part where the game says "Press X to begin"
Andromeda wasn't that bad. Gameplay was fantastic, some of the facial animations weren't the best but everyone's face isn't frozen.
ME:Andromeda was better than the third game. Great environments, action... Characters weren't great, but some interesting characters if you invest the time with it.
ME:A was actually a very good game for what it was supposed to be - the beginning of a new trilogy cycle. In trilogies, the first part is supposed to be about establishing the conflict while introducing the characters and the location(s). ME:A did just that and was fun in the process. As to the supposed "graphic glitches", I played from day 1 and never had one pop up.

@Alex Arias i saw one video of him, dying over and over on super gore nest and being pissed at how bad he is, he doesn't use dashes, flamethrower, nades, uses chainsaw only when he is missing ammo, and honestly i am kinda pissed at him

The game came out yesterday. It hasn’t had time to tell if it’s good or bad. There’s no perspective. So what, Joel dies. It’s not a big surprise. It’s super sad but it certainly didn’t ruin the game for me. Did you just want another Last of Us? Go play the first one it’s still a masterpiece. @@manwithnoname3024 Agreed I mean when you think about it the reveal trailer literally spoiled the fact Joel's going to get killed by a member of the Fireflies because you see in the reveal trailer Joel literally asking Ellie if her plan to get vengeance on the entirety of the Fireflies remnants is the right call to make and Ellie says that's she's still sticking to her plan of killing the rest of the Fireflies remnants.
@@manwithnoname3024 it's not that I'm mad about. Joel's death is what starts the story and that's alright. What makes me mad is the fact that they make you play as his killer. And you're being forced to like her so much. And in the end, Abby's story is totally worthless (like her backstory).
Besides, I think the ending would have been better if Ellie killed Abby yet still lost everything. I don't know seems more powerful to me.

I remember when Iden defected. Immediately after the cutscene, I googled Iden returns to the Empire and was so pissed that I stopped playing the game altogether for a few days. There's subverting expectations to take the plot in a new direction no one saw coming, then there's having an entirely original game then copping out 4 missions in to give us something we have seen a million times before.

Iden Versio was hardcore Imperial special forces and she switched sides after the Empire oppressed people. I mean that is what the Empire does, did she never see any of that? It's supposed to be canon, but you don't see it anywhere else.
I think they tried to frame it as Iden willingly ignored most of the Empire's cruelty due to her duty as a member of a Imperial special forces squad and how she was raised but was given a harsh dose of reality and a harsh dose of truth about the true nature of the Empire when they attack her home-planet and family despite the fact as she points out in the cutscene that the inhabitants of her home-planet including her family are die-hard Imperialists who would never think about betraying the Empire. To put it simply Battlefront 2's story-mode campaign the frames main anti-heroine protagonist as being naïve throughout the first half of the plot due to her family like the other inhabitants of her home-planet being loyal to the Empire teaching her that the Empire is the good guys and the "cruel, and oppressive" methods used by the Empire were just the Empire's way of bringing law and order to a chaotic, lawless galaxy, and anyone who disagrees with that notion is a "scumbag rebel terrorist" who deserves death, and that's pretty much her view-point it only changes when she's given a harsh dose of the truth when the Empire the faction she was raised to be loyal to even upon death decides to attack her home-planet and illegally imprison, and murder most of the inhabitants including her family despite Iden bringing up the fact everyone on her home-planet including her family would never think about betraying the Empire due to their absolute loyalty.
Still, I prefer playing as a true "bad guy" a la TIE Fighter, KotOR duology Dark Side options, Jedi Knight I and Jedi Academy Dark Side options, and Pandemic Studios' BFII 501st clone trooper journal. Trust me, there's a simple charm in playing as "the bad guys" in video games.
No "Driver" on that list? 98% of players wasn't even able to get beyond the tutorial.
The Tri-Force Hunt was surreal. It was the talk of the lunch room, but I found most of them through Lots of exploration. Wind Waker is the most memorable Zelda for me because I actually had to see the whole darn ocean to make it work.

god the Imprisoned sucked...that lame bullshit boss was the last straw for me with SS. I already hated the controls & more linear progression among other things, but having to fight what IMO is the worst boss in Nintendo history ( only counting Nintendo owned & co-owned games here ) not just once but at least 3 fucking times depending on whether you want to go through the absolute hell of the Thunder Dragon's Trial once it's available in order to get the ONLY shield that doesn't break ( seriously, fuck durability mechanics in games....they're just bullshit that kills the fun IMO ) just killed any shred of willingness to continue playing. First time I ever truly gave up on a Zelda game.

The Blade Tower in GoW was kinda annoying, but Hades has some more memorable bothersome parts for me I think 🤔. I know I had trouble with Tower, but i don’t remember it been to difficult

To be Honest I only Hated the Real Life Parts in Assasains Creed where you played this Silence First Person Character in Black Flag or Rouge, but in AC II and the others I Really Hyped them and sometimes they were better Staged then the Animus Sections.

The Arkham Knight one was great, but it should've added a fight like Origins. It's what Deathstroke is best known for.

I sure was. Doom Eternal was such a freaking good game, and you can absolutely destroy the Marauders instantly with a bit of patience and skill.
The Marauder is my favorite demon of the entire game. Both with his looks and design. Also the tentacles never really bothered me. Just have the shotgun ready
The Marauders are probably the best way to show how skill u are too since they can pop out of now where and the tentacles are just a demon Whack a mole especially when ur trying to get to Hayden
Xen "ruining" Half-Life is a massive stretch. It's still one of the greatest games of all time.

I don't mind the tentacles in Doom Eternal. I also have fun fighting the Marauders, but I personally felt they were overused in the later parts of the game after the initial boss fight.

I actually didn’t mind Big’s campaign in Sonic Adventure. I found it to be relatively fun after getting used to the controls but it could have been much better. Now if the sun and moon medals from Sonic Unleashed were on the list, then I’d wholeheartedly agree.
Without the animus, AC wouldn’t be the same. I liked it from the first game. I think it Adds to the immersion, tho haven’t played the newer ones
