How to Replace Yamaha FJ09 Air Filter - MT09 FZ09 & Tracer

In this video, I show you how to service and replace the air filter in my 2015 Yamaha FJ09. This should be relatively similar for the MT09, FZ09 and newer Tracer models.

Hey Calvin, all of a sudden my FZ6R won’t rev past 5000ish rpm and tops out at 80-90km/h
Revs all the way up in neutral or clutch in, happened all of a sudden. Any ideas?

Sounds like a fueling issue. I think that because neutral free revving would need the least amount of fuel to rev high. Once the bike is loaded up and moving it will need more fuel to increase revs. Maybe your fuel pump is dying, or the fuel line has shifted and has a kink. If possible measure the fuel pressure. Maybe you got some crud or water in your gas tank. Best of luck! It’s a strange problem.
