I started taking EV olive oil a month ago from a farm in my state. A spoonful a day. I have felt more "chill" as the best way to describe it. More jovial in conversations with my wife and kids. That seems to be the biggest change. And i am pretty happy all the time even before taking it.

You mention that 1 to 2 virgin olive oil spoons a day are good enough. In this case is more better? I am taking 5 to 6 spoons spread from breakfast, lunch and dinner as part of a diet to recover from a traumatic brain injury due to a fall. I have not had any digestive problem at all and feel great. Trying to consume more good vegetal fat, I include also one to two small avocados everyday. I am 80 years old and try to cover successfully all the multiple points you stress to have not only a good health but a well protected and optimized brain.

I do substantially more than the 1 to 2 each day, but the research shows the benefit may be around the range I discussed, especially for those thinking of starting to add it to their diet.

    Amazing video !
I only use the best olive oil.
I certainly know about autophagy, and I often dry fast for 24 hours.
Cacao also crosses the blood, brain barrier. I also have had this for 13 years or so, and my blood is so bright red and plenty of it.
I used to look after people with dementia and I learnt from them what not to do.
    Thank you.

Thank you, Dr. Perlmutter. Dr. Lustig warns of heating olive oil (400F), breaking the double bond and turning it into a trans-fat. I've stopped using it in my gluten free microwave muffin, using ghee instead. (I have yet to calculate what the interior temp would be for 60 seconds with 1100W on power levels 2 and 3.)

What are you waiting for? it’s been 13 days since your post, and I do not see your microphone interior temp results😀.

I want to reduce constipation as well as reduce depression and anxiety and hear about EVOO will help puttine half a tbsp on an avocado or other veges. As I am celiac as well as have epilepsy tho the AED's help but anxiety doesn't help. I also have a VNS and it helps...tho I want to get my digestion moving so I think having a tbsp before sleep will help. After several weeks will help or sooner....just EVOO.

There were reports a few years ago that oleic acid boosts SIRT1 in the same way that resveratrol does, but by 20 to 200 times as much. Was this just another non-reproducible result?

Usa should have more olive tree farm and olive production. Olive requires warm weather...
May be Florida, Texas those areas will be ideal to produce
