    Excellent, very clear, comprehensive, and unlike some of the videos on installing this seatpost, actually seems to tie in with the instructions.

    thanks for this, helped my install. Though I routed internally which took me about 4 hours to get the cable through the frame ughhh I think I'll get a routing tool for next time.

    Thanks, this helps! The instructions are rubbish, they show the larger barrel goes into the seat post end.

    Great video. Ordered the 150mm version ahead of getting a new 2022 voodoo bizango. Hope 150mm is ok. I’m a leg amputee with a special cycle leg so will be riding mostly in the saddle. The dropper will aid me getting on and off the bike and cleating in the peddles etc.

      Hi there was wondering how you actually got on with 150mm dropper post because I’m collecting my bizango on Monday and have a 150mm dropper to install and I’m 5’8”, my only concern if fully up and inserted in frame all the way down do you think it’d work for me, fully up will be 210mm from top of seat tube, my inside leg is 845mm, thanks.

    I'll be fitting the same dropper to the same bike in the next few days so this is very useful. Nice one and thanks.

    A few small but vital steps missed with this install unfortunately. Firstly you need to grease pretty much everything (especially the cable) to prevent corrosion and ensure smooth operation. Secondly you missed the opportunity to cut your outer cable to length before doing a full install so now you’ll need to install a new inner to tidy it up.

    Hi there mate very informative video, thanks. I’m going to collect my Bizango 18” Medium bike on Monday and have got a 150mm dropper seat post on order so what I’m asking with me being 5’ 8”do you think there will be enough leeway if fully inserted into seat tube for it not to be too high when extended which would be 210mm from collar on seat tube, thanks.

    Great video man. Just added a dropper to my Voodoo Hoodoo and this really helped. Can you tell me what your little Allen key ratchet set is?

    • @onyerbikemtb4550
      @onyerbikemtb4550  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a snap on set & snap on 1/4” drive ratchet. Not cheap but so worth it! Thanks for the comment 😊

      @Onyerbikemtb thanks man, It's surprisingly hard to find a good 1/4" set that contains allen key bits that's good for working on bikes.

    Great video. I will be going back to watch when I am installing my dropper seat post :). Q. Did you look into the 150mm travel post? Do you think the bizzango can take it?

    • @slabbyrider8665
      @slabbyrider8665 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Should do. I have an 18in bizango and with the standard post slammed theirs 250mm in the tube. That means I could fit a 170 dropper as it's only 25mm longer with the actuator. Just can't have it all the way in.

    • @onyerbikemtb4550
      @onyerbikemtb4550  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes I did look into it but it was going to be too high for me - pretty sure it would fit but best to double check the dimensions of the seat tube & the dropper post before you order

    Could do with putting some carbon assembly paste on the seatpost so you don’t have to clamp it too hard. Or at least antisieze.

    • @onyerbikemtb4550
      @onyerbikemtb4550  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That’s a good suggestion - in fact I’m going to whip it out and do that - copper slip will probably do

    • @Adam-vm8kp
      @Adam-vm8kp 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@onyerbikemtb4550 copper slip will stop the post seizing in but carbon paste is gritty so it means you can put slightly less torque so you don’t restrict the droppers internals. Tiny tube will last you ages 👍
