You should take a look at the work being done by Edison motors of BC Canada with there Topsy HD Hybrid electric logging trucks and light trick conversions ..They use SAAB generator engines but all propulsion is electric. SAAB have also produced a hybrid 55kn Al patrol boat that uses their own electric motors and massive V8 diesels. These Yatchs are brilliant for their performance and energy gathering and production technology. Wonderful balance of design Environmental solutions and technology... What a way to live and travel.

My dream catamaran perfected. You have managed to fix my few hick-ups, not least the former flimsy solution to enclose the forward cockpit and helm position, which now seems much more substantial and also the fact, that you have now fitted a full size washer/ dryer. Yeah, I hate hand washing or going to a laundry, and guess, what you have to do, if you do not have a great washing solution on your boat. I definitely would chose and owners version with the office space forward, instead of that overkill bathroom/ head, as the former version, that Nautistyles made a good review on. I also just simply liked those central heads in that version better, and it is very popular to use that much space on bathrooms in modern catamarans, but to me it is just a bit wasted space. An office space always would be a good thing though. Now I just need to win that lottery!
I just had a thought about these center bridge cockpits on cats. Doesn't it highly increase the risk of getting hit by lightning arcs if sailing through a thunder/lightning storm if you are constantly sitting in a radius of like 1.5m from the mast?
The helm’s proximity to the mast on the Windelo should not significantly increase danger during a lightning strike if the boat is properly grounded and you take basic precautions like avoiding metal surfaces. The indoor helm setup provides more safety than being outdoors during a storm, and as long as the lightning protection system is functional, you should be safe.

Bonjour, notre éco-composite en fibre de basalte et en mousse PET nous permet d'avoir une coque légère et durable, tout en ne négligeant pas la robustesse qui est un élément très important pour les catamarans. La fibre de basalte offre également une résistance unique au feu, à la chaleur et aux produits chimiques, ainsi que des propriétés mécaniques élevées de 12 à 15% par rapport à la fibre de verre. I don't think so but in the cockpit roof redesign they increased the roof are so there's more solar space than the early 50 but as each Windelo fit out is semi custom I know there's options for more battery storage. And the same motor manufacturer does offer other motors with higher power outputs.. The principle is that most of the time you don't need to use them as you can sail in 4-5 knots. ..and the generator running at Stoichiometric optimum means you save up to 30% fuel compared to direct diesels.

Ok this boat looks nearly perfect, specially about cabins, those cabins bathrooms were like hotel rooms really amazing i love this boat but we need real test videos, we need to see sailors crossing ocean or just some long distances with in different weather conditions, we need to see this boat in all kind of waves, we need to see real usage of these code 0, geneaker or other sails with real wind performance, we need to see those electric motors, hydro generations performance in long distances so in brief the boat looks like dream but i couldn't find real performance test videos on internet

Thanks for your reply. I have already watched these videos and more. I have already watched all the Windello 54 videos on the internet, and I want more. Your boat is amazing. I am in love with Windello 54, and I want to see more videos, especially real owners crossing or some long distance videos. Windello 54 is probably the best catamaran in the world. She is so beautiful, with an with an elegant design, a full open salon, an integrated front desk, and perfect cabins. Everything is perfect. I would like to see your trimarans in the same design. I think it can be perfect. Just imagine the Windello 54, but the trimaran can give more stability and speed, and if you can add a diesel engine to the same exact setup, it can be ready for every situation. I would love to see some kind of project from your company.
I really appreciate the content, but sadly, I think the presenter lets this otherwise excellent review down. Perhaps he could stick to writing the script, as the content is really good? Unfortunately, I find his mumbling, stumbling and Peston-like gappy articulation difficult listening. Or, do more retakes and edits to cut down the stutters and mumbles? That could work.
I personally found it endearing. There are enough perfectly edited hype channels out there, I enjoyed hearing a normal presentation of the boat and not someone being artificially overexcited by every single detail. But hey, it's all subjective right?
