@@lillianfox6848 Like a lot of people when they do these predictions: Arlo, GameXplain, etc. Not knocking them on that, the optimism is certainly admirable, but more often than not I'd like it more if these people make more grounded predictions based on trends and things of that nature instead of these huge pie in the sky prediction pieces that more often than not lead into "OH! WHY ISN'T NINTENDO MAKING THIS GAME THAT I WANT?!?" videos where they complain that Nintendo's not fulfilling their every wish because "Reality is often disappointing"
I mean it's obvious Arlo has no thought process around the concept of BUSINESS QUARTERS and that Nintendo typically does 1 Direct per Quarter, etc.

But yeah... Again, optimism is great, but I don't think he realizes Nintendo does have a set way of doing things, especially since going into this new "Switch Era" where there's a February Direct that announces a "June Game", an April/May Direct that highlights said June Game, E3 where they announce games that will hopefully release in the 4th Quarter, June Game releasing a week after E3, a Niche title releasing in July, MAYBE getting a game in late September where they announce a January release (of a port), then the last three months being their Holiday releases.
That's not even going to Pokemon which is worth noting GameFreak and not Nintendo thus they do things differently - since going worldwide, they announce a new Gen at the end of February, or a Remake/Remaster/Sequel in Late May/Pre-E3 June - then release in November exclusively regardless of Nintendo's November release. (ORAS released same day as Smash Wii U for example, don't tell me that was a great idea unless it was Nintendo/GameFreak desperate for Black Friday money.) Only time they differed was at the start of the Worldwide era where they announced Gen 6 in January and released in October - since then though it's been completely consistent.
But, what do I know. I chose to unsub from Arlo when his predictions started going out there and he started complaining when there was this "News Drought" when it's clear he doesn't seem to know what Nintendo's schedule is and they release a Nintendo Direct in their usual time period a week or two later in February.
I mean, again, I like the guy, but it's just become "Blue Puppet yells at cloud" sort of scenario.

No January Direct, no Pikmin 4, no Mario Golf, no Super Mario 3D World port, no DLC for 1234 Switch, no Super Mario Maker 2 DLC, no new games except Mystery Dungeon, the Smash review revealed was Byleth, no Travis Touchdown, no March Direct, no Metroid Prime Trilogy, no Super Mario Party 2, no Smash Reveal, no Spirits event, and no Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC.
We did get the Nintendo direct in March for Animal Crossing and Luigi Mansion DLC.

I hate that people keep predicting Mario Kart DLC. It’s literally the no1 thing I’ve wanted on switch since the game launched and I always get my hopes up for no reason. (I lied about the no1 thing- Odyssey and BOTW sequels came first)

Metroid Prime HD, Mario RPG, Pikmin 4, mentioning exploring the depths in the BotW sequel, Mario Kart DLC, 1-2 Switch sequel released unceremoniously a month after announcement... Arlo. I think you need to get your crystal ball calibrated. It was off by a few years.

About Pikmin 4. I did some research, and the guys who worked on Pikmin 1, 2, and 3 fused together with another company, and then made Hey. If we assume that coming to the Switch, P4 development got scrapped and revised AND put on the back burner for a while, now would be as good of a time as ever to get P4 out there.
Nintendo Entertainment Planning & Development usually develop 7~ games per year, and so far there's only 1 (Maybe 2) games slated for 2020. Just, do, it. Please.

1st Pokémon diamond and pearl remakes will not come out in October and will 100% release in November
2nd I feel breath of the wild's sequel will come out on the 3rd of march 2021 to celebrate the switch's 4th birthday
