In most of the migrant interviews I've seen they usually claim they came for a better life ie. financial reasons, not actually asylum. Many are now claiming the U.S. is not what they expected. I have yet to hear a interviewer ask one of them, What did you expect would happen when you illegally entered the U.S. without money, a support system or a legal source of income?

When I was homeless as a Veteran 5 yrs ago in Chicago, I couldn't get food stamps, hotel room, a tent, soup, free clothes and shoes, medical care or anything. The government told me I had to pull myself up by the bootstraps.
Pulling oneself up by the bootstraps is a ridiculous concept. It ends in falling down.
Thank you for serving our country. They don’t take care of our veterans but they sure let illegals in our country and we pay for it. This is so disgusting that our men fight for our peace and our own administration is letting it collapse.
