However, US has a policy approved by congres to give relief to people who are really suffering natural disasters, political upheaval, dictatorship, human suffering. The intent was to enter the US for all the free services, as medical in some states for illegals, housing and food vouchers with no sponsorship and a tremendous burden for the US taxpayer, which boomeranged. Individuals can effect change in their own country and not merely abandon the obligation to advocate for change by leaving and burdening another country.
This family had every opportunity to begin making legal arrangements, filling out paperwork, learning English, and making plans for the journey. It did not go as planned as our system is now overwhelmed with these entitled illegal immigrants with many not even meeting asylum mandates. I suggest that they can PAY💲💵 for preferable accommodations if they don't appreciate the FREE options that are costing the US taxpayers. I would suggest that the money 💰would be better used by helping American citizens who are homeless and our veterans who so valiantly served our country. They can always GO HOME if they don't like it.
The story about being "kicked" is highly doubtful and possibly the mother didn't move her BIG DERRIÈRE when politely asked to do so to make room for other illegal arrivals.

The fact is Venezuela is suffering from an immense brain drain with the millions that have found themselves having to leave because the economy was crippled by inflation and US sanctions. Venezuelan immigrants are the most educated group of migrants in the world. They are very diverse across all spectrums of society, this family and story is not representative of all by a long shot

I am doing a legal immigration process for my family, this process takes 8 to 10 years even do they are my children, I am American citizen, I paid my taxes and follow the law.
We have to pass for an extensive background check, sending proof of taxes, work, expensive fees, affidavit if support and more and more papers.
I can understand everybody deserve a better life, USA was made by immigrants but is not fair that as American Citizen doing everything legally I must wait praying don't die during the process meanwhile the government is allowing thousands of people to break the law and stay free in USA.

They think of the US as a rich country who will take care of them because they applied for asylum but the US doesn't have the funds/facilities to do so. Many will be denied asylum and eventually deported.

I'm Venezuelan and there are so many elements that causes this phenomenon that are not spoken of. It's a Narrative that pursues a political party agenda:
1- To generate despise towards Republican controlled states.
2- Emphasize Venezuela's breakdown and crisis. It's not mentioned that this is caused mostly by US sanctions and its allies.
If you know Venezuelans are crossing your border generating all sort of issues and division in your society, why keeping the sanctions? I mean those sanctions are a monstrosity, if this is the topic to be covered. I mean, I lost up to 15 Kg thanks to them, many nights going to sleep with an empty stomach. Why doesn't Democrat Biden remove the sanction if you care about the well being of people? After all, they already sat down with Maduro to lift oil sanctions and help in another crisis Democrats have also created around the world.
Dear lord, what's going on with the United States? They're following an agenda backed up by media such as the NYT and CNN that divides their own country and generate international chaos and conflicts.
If you feel this woman is demanding too much, is because that's what she hopes from your American Dream Propaganda. In Hollywood, you have the perfect society. I'm really sorry for her, and I really hope that if she's deported, she apply all that energy she employed in that long journey to USA. I'm sure this way, she will provide for her kid in her own country.
We don't know what we are made of, until we actually test it. I recovered my 15 Kgs back in Venezuela. Thanks to my English I was able to enter the aristocracy of my city which by the way most of them are against the government. The sanctions only destroyed the middle class.

I agree that a lot is not mentioned when discussing the why. Especially when it comes to unknown and known information. But having a thought process that someone else will take care of you? • @civilization_tfgonz
      @civilization_tfgonz ปีที่แล้ว

@@ns6095 American propaganda has shifted from TV shows and movies towards social networks and tech platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Whatsapp. So, the information goes down like an inverted bottleneck. This particular Venezuelan family is at the bottom of the social structure. That means they would only have access to Whatsapp on a very old stolen Smart Phone. From group chats, they receive the most popular videos from Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter; videos which portray that if a Venezuelan goes to your borders under the humanitarian crisis flag, they will be accepted and given free health care, they would have benefits and their migration progress would be different than those from other countries, because you know, Venezuela. Under those circumstances, who wouldn’t feel special? Who wouldn’t dare going there? Especially under the harsh conditions that again, U.S sanction has worsened even more (if you want me to explain to you from my perspective how these sanctions work, let me know).
Now, you must think, how in heavens do they think everything is going to be given to them? Well, said videos also show low-class Venezuelans that got lucky at your borders -maybe those in the first waves of Venezuelans that went through the deathly jungle of Panama on the way up to the USA-, boasting about their new houses, their brand new ridiculously unnecessary monstrously big car, and plenty of food. The food part, yes is true. However, they don’t know the fact that for the house, they have to enslave themselves (they are unskilled, uneducated, and non-English speakers) to pay the 30-year mortgage and the bank loan for the car. They just see the car and house package and it is likely they won’t get their mortgage and loan approved. They will be homeless, but that’s not what they see on Whatsapp. This is their mindset:
      - To be welcomed as heroes for surviving a humanitarian crisis. They seriously expect recognition and praise such as this one in the NYT (So many similarities with a now-famous blue and yellow European country)
      - As heroes, they expect to be given health care and other benefits when needed during a long span of time not just in the first few months.
      - Easy access to legal migration and U.S. citizenship because we are the heroes of a humanitarian crisis.
      - A Beautiful house and a new car from the get-go.
Remember the bottleneck? This is how the information goes:
Hollywood propaganda / Democrats political speeches > Upper-class Venezuelans > Middle-class Venezuelans > Low-class Venezuelans > Poor and critical class Venezuelans.

Exactly right. NY Times is morally complicit in mass illegal migration by framing it as "human rights". For years, and to this day, these virtue signalling idiots have been lecturing countries around the world on "pushbacks".
Not only should NY Times be called out for supporting illegal migration but they should be economically boycotted. Hit them in their wallets. Let them find a real job rather than glorified bloggers framing their super-woke politics as "journalism".

If they had an agenda to present their case well they would have given a better understanding of the process and made it clear that, for example, contrary to many of the armchair experts in the comments, they did not break any laws by coming to the United States; they had to physically come here in order to apply for asylum. That, along with a lot of other context and facts, such as: Venezuelans are the most educated group of migrants in the world - meaning that it is Venezuela that is suffering from a brain drain because of their migration, and the receiving countries that stand to benefit from their expertise.

@@drebugsita There is refugee status for those who meet the definition of refugee and who are of special humanitarian concern to the United States. They must be outside the US.
What makes these people think things will be better in the US. We have high crime, drugs are rampant (fentanyl is now the #1 cause of death in those age 18-49), high inflation, out of control illegal aliens entering our country. The reason is they know they will be put up in hotel rooms at the taxpayer's expense while some Americans are living on the street; be catered the native food of their country while some Americans are scavenging in garbage cans, they will also be given clothing, healthcare, education. All on the American taxpayer.

I guess you’ve forgotten that it’s Hugo Chavez and communism that destroyed Venezuela. You have a very short memory. Hugo turned what was an affluent South American country comparatively wealthy with oil into a corrupt, unbalanced, lawless country nationalizing all production. Oil prices crashed due to OPEC which is controlled by Saudi Arabia to destroy fracking and when oil went over $100/bbl Saudi cashed in . Oil producers and serviced companies were forced into bankruptcy and hasn’t recovered. Saudi was prepared to sacrifice its member to accomplish its goal. Why would an oil producer want to lease from Venezuela when they’ve shown they’ll renege on the contract and steal it under the guise of nationalization?

Instead, they keep the sanctions which are designed to cripple the venezuelan economy and blame it on Maduro to cause discontent and possible overthrow instead of giving them economic aid like they do to Ukraine. This is nothing new they've been doing it to Cuba for 62 years, even though 183 countries in the UN charter consider it inhumane for the past 30 years. US foreign policy in a nutshell is: "do as we say or your people won't eat."

He shouldn't have used his legs to tap the girl on the ground, but culturally its viewed as unsanitary here, he can't have people sleeping on the floor, he needs to find somewhere.
