Hey Max. Would love to see more of your clients’ successes like an IG collection of before and after photos. Would inspire us and keep us motivated!

I started your program this week sir.
I began with a 1B and done my 80 minutes this week, it went quite easy but as I haven't done a burpee in years I thought I might become real sore in the coming days. Time I have (not a busy dad), so I'm going to ease into it. My plan is to run your program for 6 months (with the complimentary chin ups, of course) and evaluate how I'm feeling/developing after that.
Thank you for the clever idea, the format and the inspiration, all the best from Sweden.

Respect for powering through when you’re not well. I think I’ll try this kind of pacing. I usually do EMOM but maybe I can squeeze out a few more reps if I do one every few seconds instead.

Survival mode is the right thing to do. went through the same just for the last two weeks where I could not get rid of some coughing. I decided I just go for 80% of my PR and that will be sufficient to keep my current level of fitness.

Hello Max, another great video from you. I have an idea for a new format: Busy Dad FAQ as a live stream. Best, Björn

I started your programme this week. Went gentle with only 50 six counts in under 20mins. As somone who hates cardio i must say i got really into the rhythm of it and enjoyed it. Almost meditative!
I wanted to ask whether your physique/ musculature was like this before or of you attribute any of it to the last 16 months.
    Thanks !

Hey my man! It has actually been 4.5 years since I started burpees and abandoned all lifting. I did have quite a bit of muscle going in, though my physique transformed. My shoulders and pecs are more defined now than they have ever been and I have not lost significant size in my legs. I strongly believe that if burpees did not stimulate muscle growth, then I would not have been able to hold on to all my muscle mass in four years of nothing but burpees.

@@busydadtraining hey, thanks for your reply and for your great channel. I think you're right, after that long, you'd have lost mass for sure otherwise. Anyway, something that's sustainable and simple will always trump other forms of exercise where you end up injured or stop- starting. Thanks again!

Does anyone warmup before a burpee workout and cooldown/stretch after?
Does anyone think that doing 100's of press ups a week is overtraining the chest. I want to start this but worried about overtraining. I am 57 am i too old to do this.

You're definitely not too old. As for warm up, why not try this: th-cam.com/video/R2rzj4018zk/w-d-xo.html

How are you, my brother? I am Abdullah from Iraq. Sorry, I do not speak English. Only English readers. Six days ago, I did burpees a hundred times and lost three kilos. Does the burpee exercise burn a lot of fat continuously? Please reply, my brother.
