*Now I do the exact same thing with 1472 cups of tea every minute* Anyway I hope you liked todays very strange path to power of consuming endangered animal species!
Based on this strategy, there is a better faction that can snowball even harder. Most of Lament's heroes have devour and dragonking, but the Lament faction can recruit Gold Drakes and turn them into Red Dragons and turn Upgrade the Red Dragons into Black Dragons (100 power), THE strongest in the game. So basically, you can get more dragons and make them even stronger that you can devour.
Honestly, Lament isn't better at this strat. Yes, Lament cities have the Altar of Dragons to turn gold dragons into red dragons into black dragons, but the Altar only gives one dragon every two weeks, and their heroes with Dragonking and Devour (only two of six, by the way, not "most") have the skills toward the bottom of their skill trees, which makes them very slow to level because the player has to level a path down to them. Spiff most likely chose Gunvor because Gunvor has both of those skills right up near the top, making it way easier to powerlevel those skills and snowball into an abomination. (Plus, all the player needs to do is conquer a Lament city, or convert a city they own to Lament, and then they have the effect of Altar of Dragons without needing to start as a Lament hero.)
Most strongest strat is going delerium faction upgrading the mage character so that you get mind control (takes over enemy permanent) than unlock the potent variant so you have 2 mindcontrols. You can take over a whole enemy army for a bit of mana and if there is a arcane town nearby you claimed you have infinite mana so you can legit NEVER lose no matter how big the enemy is since you just spam that shit and take over their whole army.
@@Sussyimposter046 love playing like this; it’s even better if you grab potent army of giants so you can mind control entire armies and then immediately turn them into kaijus

Yeah, this video was fun, but I don't consider this an exploit so I wasn't impressed at all- this is just standard gameplay on harder difficulties, because the AI blatantly cheats as a built in feature of the game, and the player has to get creative with the cheese. The developer put the red dragon skill and the devour skill on tier 2 right next to each other. There is no way they don't know exactly how overpowered and ridiculous red dragons+devour is, it seems clear to me that they're encouraging the player to do it. A lot of skill combinations are horrifically overpowered in Hero's Hour, and I personally believe that's supposed to be part of the fun/appeal of the game. As previously mentioned, the AI cheats, so you really do need the overpowered skills/spells to win.
I can just imagine the enemy heroes atop their horses overlooking the fight, eyes wide and staring at Gunvor casually snacking on his own dragons in the middle of the battlefield to the absolute horror of all their units, while Gunvor's army is just shrugging it away like "ey bois, here come the steroids!" I'm personally a big fan of the media (manga, anime, webcomic etc) whether isekai or not, where the main character starts out horrifically underpowered compared to the basically impossible challenge they are facing, then by virtue of either literal game mechanics or simply game-like growth mechanics are able to become something completely unfathmable and unparrallelled even in the ridiculous context of their stories. With this in mind, coupled with similar concepts being a large amount of the content Spiff puts out, I can't help but want to watch an ongoing story of one of those ridiculous situations with Spiff suddenly as the main character, wherein he uses obscure concept overlaps or similarly unnoticed 'exploits' to single handedly become a god of some inhospitable wasteland of a dark fiction world in which no one else can manage more than just surviving. I imagine the media would totally rate, and you can be sure I would watch/read it.
With the recent overhaul of the game, the Devour strategy has been axed. Not it only gives you temporary stat-ups and adds some buffs for the battle. But there is a new godly and exploitable skill: Creativity. When a hero with Creativity wins a battle, you can sacrifice some of the gained XP to...gain a new skill. Which can be ANY skill, even one that character doesn't normally have access to. Once you level it up a bit, you just need to win a few battle to start stacking every single skill in the game on that character and become unstoppable.
If you think the devour ability is crazy, then you haven’t found the tower which allows you to sacrifice troops for permanent knowledge and spellpower, one summon spell fills the battle map completely
As an American I can also summon dragons out of thin air. This is a defense mechanism developed during the Revolutionary War when it was realized that most wizards left England to support the revolution and were willing to teach Dragonmancy.
Beautiful to see lmao I’m hanging out now for the next Skyrim video. Someday you need to return to Fallout 4, with a party girl perk run and drinking several different types of alcohol. I understand that the luck bonus stacks with each different type - I wonder how far you can break things LMAO
Having played this game, I can confidently say that there are better options. While you do get dragons fairly frequently with this strategy, Pyre's third hero can snowball far quicker and more efficiently. He comes pre-packed with multiple methods of summoning units for free, the ability to promote them to their strongest forms (including a zombie dragon) for free, and early access to devour and Creativity, which grants one of several random skills for the cost of small amounts of experience- including the skill the gets you red dragons. You can devour for upwards of 15-20 stats every day without putting any sort of noticeable drain on your army, as it'll replenish itself almost immediately after battle.

Spiff 2022 : "Go ! Turn my enemy into money !"
The most British sentence of the year ! 😅
This reminds me of when Maple ate the hydra in Bofuri and became the most broken shield-loli in the history of anime.
"Look at this Glorious Mango!" 42:02

I laugh so hard XD
This one is a good run! Thanks Brit! You are awesome dude!
Beautiful to see lmao
I’m hanging out now for the next Skyrim video.
Someday you need to return to Fallout 4, with a party girl perk run and drinking several different types of alcohol. I understand that the luck bonus stacks with each different type - I wonder how far you can break things LMAO
love your videos, just felt the need to come down here to Specifically compliment the way you divide the video up into small chapters. king shit
