This video was so great, not a lot of over explaining and strictly building the keyboard. Easy to understand while the perfect amount of explanation of what each part does. Thank you!
As mentioned in the video, I thought the existing resources for building the Tofu60 2.0 were less than ideal. To begin with, the box does not come with a instruction manual. Looking online led me to KBDfans' Tofu60 product page which links to a Notion page which I am not sure KBDfans wrote themselves. While the Tofu60 is considered a beginner board due to its availability and accessible price point, the lack of build instructions certainly does not set any beginner up for success in the keyboard hobby. The goal of this video is to fill in some of the gaps from existing build guides and to act as a reference guide for more visual builders. As an aside, thank you to @gamingsoups (Isaac.) for his idea of getting a baseline budget board to film consistent sound tests. Hope to feature this board more in future videos; subscribe to stay updated.
Beautiful stuff! Just some constructive feedback: love the text colour but I had to strain a lot to read it against a lot of the backgrounds. Also, by the time I read the text I barely caught what was happening in the vid! Which means I'll be watching it again, which I'll happily do! Keep up the great work 🙏
So the new shipments of the Tofu60 2.0 actually come with a tiny screwdriver but it's so shitty that it strips before you can get all the screws out. Had to buy one anyway
Just discovered your channel, I love it! I only have a vortex race 3 but I want to start the customization journey :), What 75% DIY kits would you recommend between 80 and 200usd?
I dont have "plate foam" but the tofu 65 2.0 came with these tiny square foam pieces. Do i use those instead? My plate is unbalanced after installing stabalizers
Question, do the stabilizers need to be screw in? I only have the standard stabilizers (mostly) every keyboard comes with. edit: I’m referring to plate mount stabilizers.

Thank you, this was exactly what I was looking for. Easy to understand, and super visual. Cheers!
The poron foam goes in the top case for the bowl mount, not the bottom case.

what size of stabs does the tofu60 2.0 support? 1x 6.5 for the spacebar and 2x 2.0 for shift and enter?

What tools do I need exactly and where can I buy them? Thanks!
also for future vids try to slow down on the captions so u dont have to read so fast to keep up
For sure, thank you for the feedback
Did you put the shims on the wrong side?
Does the keyboard support clip in stabs
It should
What size screwdriver did you use?
It's hard to read
Ur not clear on how to do the stabs
