It's an incredibly satisfying sound so I'm not surprised. I always liked the sound of keyboards but I didn't know there was a niche for it.

I like your non gatekeeping approach to keyboards. Showing it is okay to not know everything and your learning process probably calms a lot of beginners. When I first got into the hobby a few years ago, I felt so stupid and wouldn't want to ask questions anywhere lol

I absolutely loved this video brother! Your editing, camera angles, conciseness are all top notch. Keep up the great work.
Great vid. When you solder it looks like you are feeding it by pushing the solder in to the tip of your iron. Using the iron to get the flow going is fine, but I recommend trying to feed the hole itself after it starts flowing. This way you get a better contact for the finished solder point. That way you end up with the cone at each point, rather than the bubbles you see.
But again, great vid. Love the look of the case. Might pick it up myself lol

I actually like the alu plates, because they have a little more give than brass and also they don’t oxidize and get yucky like brass, which is especially important for soldered builds that you can’t clean quickly...

I've got a brass plate- sounds good but I spray painted it with black enamel because I prefer the "invisible plate" look

I read somewhere else that people dislike due to the use of the premiere feature. Apparently it sucks and the creator makes less money for using it as well. Might be dislikes in order to discourage the use of the feature? Idk
Idk if it was the angle of the mic but I’ve watched a few of taeha types expensive builds and this is the best keyboard I’ve heard.
The sound is so chill i want this keyboard set up
Some say that after clipping, you also have to sand down the nubs to get an even stabilizer
only if you clipped wrong, sometimes when you clip a bit will stay on but it can be fixed by sanding however if you do It right the first time then it shouldn’t be a problem
Finally, a good non over the top RGB mech, so clean, i love the aesthetics, i love the sound, everything! Keep keyboarding hamaji!

I don't know why but I hate normal rainbow RGB keyboards and pcs. I have no idea why everything "gamer" has to be black and RGB or how it got to that point.

That colour scheme matches perfectly, even the colour of the switches match the keycaps, lol!
Also I was thinking of getting the Practice 65 V2 from Cannon Keys so I could get a feel for soldering and sort of introduce myself to the custom keyboard 'rabbit hole'. I was also thinking this could be my semi endgame so later when I have the time and *cough* budget I could maybe get the savage 65. So this keyboard could be a gateway to this. Currently I'm running a prebuilt Corsair K63 and I'm currently debating whether I still should get it or not.

TOFU has a clean and quality aesthetic and build but tray mount really is on it's way out I think, especially with gaskets and other mounts getting more and more affordable. Tray mount has such inconsistent sound signature across the board.

Best part of the video
in the next 2 months or so I'll start gathering the items I need for my first build, spreading it across couple paychecks cause shit's expensive but this keyboard will most likely be the last one I every purchase, so I'm not going to cut any corner. I'll get good stabs from the start - mod the shit out of everything for ultimate smoothness and enjoy the shit out of that keyboard afterward. Lots of good tips you gave me in this video that I'll 100% apply to my build.

1 thing, after you're done soldering , always check if all the switches are correctly soldered and is fully functional, you can try to connect the usb c cable and check all the keys using a keyboard tester on the web. It's better to test it first before finishing the build

I'm no expert but i watch taeha's video about lubing stabs and he mention that you need to flatten the bottom part after cutting those feet to have a smooth contact on plate.
