Definitely not hitting full boost when the car isn’t under any load. You would have to actually hit “full boost” on the road to get an accurate response.
You guys feel like you lost any power with it wound all the way up? I have wound mine from flush a half a turn back an i feel ive lost power but it does sound wicked tho lol
I've just installed my DV+ with sound Suppression Chamber but I'm not getting much noise I think I have to tighten the white Philip screw You have cut that bit out on your video Can you help me to see how you have done it please
Sick nice work guys
It took us long enough😂

So much easier to just say full boost
Does this car have the SSC? Or is it just the GFB and Green Filter to get the noise
I think we did the ssc after this vid
Just one more thing please, at 4 turns does this cause any compressor surge or anything that damages the turbo?

Does this damage or reduce power output in anyway?
No.
is it like this for all gfb dv+ ? i want one for my mk6 gti ed35 did not know u can adjust it to get that flutter😮
Yep.
You need a sound suppression chamber that's why it whistles
We know. We did a video about the Mountune SSC as well.
Oh yeah, we installed before we made this. I wonder if the cob one is quieter.
The power engine us stock or not 350hp
what was the best configuration you got?
Greetings from Chile ✌🏼
If I remember it was 4 turns
@@ZackandWyatt Thanks great video ✌🏼
Is it called gfb /dvx ??
No.
Sick!!!
Great video! Does the changed air filter have an open centre section?
You betcha! Its the Green Filter.
Are you running a tune with this setup?
Nope, its stock.
That's not surge, that's turbo flutter and there is a HUGE difference
What is the difference?
@@ZackandWyatt www.caradvice.com.au/587685/what-is-turbo-flutter-and-compressor-surge-is-it-bad/
Yeah.. So it says no difference. The article is comparing open throttle and closed throttle compressor surge. HUGE its the same thing.
I think it makes the flutter sound cause the spring its too tight so the air flow cant escape by the valve and it returns to the turbo
Almost like its surging in the compressor lol
Please do a vid on adjusting it to show us
Thats what this video is. Lefty loosey righty tighty....
I’ve got the gfb dv+ I want more noise am I able to adjust the spring? So I can get some noise out of it ?
Tighten the adjustment screw in the middle of the body of the dv+
@@ZackandWyatt how do I tighten it bro, theres not screw it’s just a spring that I put in
Watch our installation video.

The only philip screw is only for installation. You replace it with the adjuster screw. When the adjuster screw is flush with the body it is neutral.
Also you can watch our installation video. This is just what the adjustments sound like.
Torque it to 180lb/ft
Surely it’s not making propper boost until driven and the engine is under load 😂
I don’t think I explained it but I was more talking about full boost without load so it wasn’t adjusted so aggressively.
👍👍👍👍👌👌👌😁😁
sounds good but absolute toxic...
Its fine.
@@ZackandWyatt this makes turbo flattering, looks in youtube whats happen bro
Its just compressor surge at low boost. If you watch the adjustment video it will make more sense.
