Im about to get a refurbished session 5. But your vid makes me think alot to get the runcam. I fly only 6 inch biblade, hope the sound record is not too bad.

It's a good question. I think the sound quality if worse than from a GoPro for sure. In my opinion it's not garbage and completely useless. If you just want some prop and motor sounds in the background of a music track, I think it works fine. But definitely do some more research first before pulling the trigger.

Haven't had any durability issues. It's as good as new. I have smacked it around a bunch of time in minor to medium scale impacts in dirt and grass. I do not fly bandos, so no idea how it would hold up there, but I would imagine, more or less like a GoPro, and if you crack the glass you could get a new one I figure.

In 1440p 60fps at high quality the bitrate is 40 Mbps. You are right, the sound quality is not the best, but is almost usable with music, check out some of the examples on my flight footage channel Georgi FPV - th-cam.com/video/CbiDdzbNgvs/w-d-xo.html
