If he is sharing that information in public, outside of the protected data environment of the police station, then that is a direct breach of GDPR Data Protection laws and the officer should be reprimanded for this and the station prosecuted for breaking the law.

If the officer wasn't directly interacting with AB in Banbury police station (there is a video about a year ago at the counter) then that means that he obtained this personal information via data collected and stored by another officer under the conditions of GDPR. If he is sharing that information in public, outside of the protected data environment of the police station, then that is a direct breach of GDPR Data Protection laws and the officer should be reprimanded for this and the station prosecuted for breaking the law.

The filth are an absolute disgrace. PCSOS are now working for boots. Are they. But PCSOS have no authority to patrol shops. As far as I know they are not allowed to do what they have done. Well done AB.
i beleive you will find that they can patrol any public place, a shop during opening hours is such a place. However bearing in mind that they are not warrant holding officers and in most cases do not possess the authority to detain anyone the money that is spent would be far better invested in regular officers with full police powers
they should recruit more people from psychatric wards

13:30 He is wrong. It is not policy that every interaction is recorded by police. Policy states that BWV must not be on when just having a conversation. It is used to collect evidence.
Many constables do not turn on their BWV, even when they are supposed to. No one checks that they did record anything unless a SAR is made or the case goes to court where the BWV is needed as evidence. When that happens the police just say "sorry, the BWV was faulty or corrupted". The police know they can get away with not recording stuff that they know will be used against them.
