So in a country where it's not required to carry ID, or produce it on demand, AB gets detained then searched for the sole purpose of finding any ID on him. It's frightening to see this is how some police behave, get this, even when they know they are being filmed.
The very fact that she admitted that the only reason they detained and searched AB was to try and get his ID makes a mockery of the right that we have to our privacy and the right to remain silent. Those who say that auditors are just "looking for a reaction" or "causing trouble" are sadly missing the importance of this work due to the awful mass indoctrination of the public. Misuse of police powers is a criminal offence according to the criminal justice and courts act.
Many auditors are looking for a reaction. That can't be denied. But the police choose to give them the reaction. There a plenty of videos where the police refuse to take the bait, and the interaction ends with no content for the auditor. But there's plenty who do take the bait and thus we have these videos and the auditor makes money.

Quite. And this endless circular argument that happens every time - you don't have to give your details but will be detained if you don't as you're being un-cooperative.
That’s what makes this situation so absurd. No headdress, hands in pockets, chewing gum, calling you ‘mate’. The current state of British policing is lamentable. Also, a police officer MUST have REASONABLE SUSPICION to conduct a stop and search BEFORE the search takes place and CANNOT question a person in order to obtain that suspicion. There is nothing in S1 of PACE that gives officers a power to search someone to confirm their identity. The officer’s understanding of S3 of the Criminal Law Act 1967 very poor and misleading to the public. They are so poorly trained and lacking in basic education. Worth a fortune this one, AB 👍
@@krisb-travelthe ‘unlawfully at large’ justification is total nonsense and has no relevance to S3 of the Criminal Law Act 1967. One could argue that the ‘use of force’ in these circumstances is not justifiable. AB should have maintained his right to silence. This is a free country, not a quasi police state.

The police might ask you to take off other clothes and anything you’re wearing for religious reasons - for example a veil or turban. If they do, they must take you somewhere out of public view. If the officer wants to remove more than a jacket and gloves they must be the same sex as you. Stand to your grounds and file a claim!

So I asked who the person was and he said he couldn't give me their name so I asked him how could I tell him if the person he was looking for was here or not if he wouldn't tell me this person's name? He stormed off when he realised I did not believe one word he had just said.

You are Right: "the Police LEGITIMACY" (Robert PEEL 1829) given by the safeguarded community members, served and protected with Fairness, Respect and Dignity!!!
I think what the officer was referring to was section 3 of the Criminal Law Act: “A person may use such force as is reasonable in the circumstances in the prevention of crime, or in the effecting or assisting in the lawful arrest of offenders or suspected offenders, or of persons unlawfully at large”. This clearly doesn't apply here. With stop and search, there must be reasonable grounds and the search must be for certain specific things, and they must tell you what they are looking for. ID is definitely not on the list. They must tell you what powers they are using to search you, and Section 3 certainly does not allow for a search. Also they must give you a record of the search, which they did not do. So nothing at all about this encounter was lawful. It seemed to me that three of the cops were ready to let it go, but the bearded one was just triggered by the lack of compliance and wanted to retaliate.
No search record offered or given. No explanation of how to get one for an unlawful stop/search that I am willing to bet my house on has never been recorded on Police databases. Not sure if section 3 doesnt give them a right to search. It does state '' assisting in the lawful search of offenders''. They could justify the use of section 3 by stating they were looking for ID to assist in the lawful search of the individual they are allegedly looking for

They circumnavigate these rights (read walk all over them) by placing hands on you and try to extract your ID by force. I hope that you win big on this one AB. This community highlights the poor discipline, appalling training and the severe misuse of powers of the UK police. Those who say that auditors are just "looking for a reaction" or "causing trouble" are sadly missing the importance of this work due to the awful mass indoctrination of the public.
Misuse of police powers is a criminal offence according to the criminal justice and courts act.
I agree they are auditing matters of public interest , keep up the work
They *are* looking for a reaction, sadly the reaction the police usually give is that of tyrants and authoritarians, and that is important to expose.
The only things police serve now are their own self interests and the elites holding the leash
Many auditors are looking for a reaction. That can't be denied. But the police choose to give them the reaction. Worth a fortune this one, AB 👍
why were they wrong on S3? i read it, it sounds very vague. What should have AB said? Genuine questions just curious

How would I find info on these section of the law. I googled but found nothing.
No search record offered or given. No explanation of how to get one for an unlawful stop/search that I am willing to bet my house on has never been recorded on Police databases. An unlawful search conducted unlawfully. Also, worth FOIAing the incident number for the search for the person that they claimed to be on, to assist with beating these clowns around the head in the court case.
@@colinpryor4290 Also worth noting that the cop knew he was being recorded and was warned that there would be civil action, yet he was quite happy to go ahead with it. How brazen was that! Not sure if section 3 doesnt give them a right to search. It does state '' assisting in the lawful search of offenders''.

If they genuinely thought you were this individual at large then surely they should have arrested you to find out if you actually were that individual or not.
They just realised they had to give up as they were out of options.
@@Davetouring They are definitely incompetent but still, can you really blame them for being suspicious? They handled it in a terrible way but the guy filming deliberately looks like he's up to something in order to get attention from them.
@@GunnerRDS kind of what auditors do right?
@@Davetouring Whenever police do the same thing it's known as 'entrapment'
Oh my god that was embarrassing. What's worse is they still don't know what they did wrong. And yes they were 100% lying about looking for someone 'matching your description'.
What the hell do they think they are doing?
Gum chewing liars.
The last part of your comment was brilliant!!!!
Four cops doing nothing except standing with their thumbs up their **** and talking about their favourite doughnuts thought to while away a half hour by abusing the rights of a citizen committing no crimes. Did I miss anything out?
2 Nancy cops
2 thick birds
The realisation started to dawn on him that he was being filmed for canfid camera!!
Great work AB !!!
Keep rooting out these tyrants with skinny arms with a power trip ego !!!
The SS is alive and kicking in the UK police force.... I'm sick of this crap....
This is horrendous, the freakin lies they're spewing.
"You've not been involved in the incident we're dealing with" - No. Surrounded by 4 officers demanding his name and ID it doesn't look like it.
If he really fit the description of a criminal at large and couldn’t prove he was that criminal they’d be taking him in.
When you saying you not speak their language and they keep asking in their language, just priceless. What kind of training they receiving in communication with public in country with so many immigrants and people from all over the world.
I love the lies they tell themselves. Just imagine the call: "Right boys, be on the lookout for an unknown person. They will be on the phone, and looking at people. We don't know their name, sex, age or nationality. But MAKE SURE YOU GET THEIR ID! Their drivers license will magically tell you if they are or are not the person you want. And when you find a single person who is not the one you are looking for then just all go home and give up."
That officers demeanour at the end was “oh shit I’m in trouble now”
😂why are they asking what language you speak if you don’t speak English? I doubt they would’ve started speaking in another language.
We love you AB❤ facing these tyrant's like you do , showing them up for the disgrace they are.all protection and God's speed❤
Are these kiddies the best that todays police can produce? Hopefully they will watch this audit and realise how pathetic they were! Bad hair, chewing gum, tattoo's calling people mate and really low IQ. They ticked every box!
Bang on , total rock bottom
How can four officers have so much time to waste? We taxpayers are expecting them to be preventing or investigating REAL CRIME!
Easy money
That will be the day😮😮😮😮😮😊
Why would a bunch of cowards be interested in that?
How many rapes occurred while they were being arseholes?
They wanted to teach him to not interrupt their double-date.
Freemasons Blue White and Yellow Checkerboard
I don't believe that they were looking for anyone! They didn't like that you were watching them and they tried to intimidate you! Good work, at exposing these thugs!
AB should not have filmed their double-date.
These clowns haven't got the first clue when it comes to law, have they? A completely unlawful detainment and search. No wonder respect for the police in the UK is rapidly draining away.
I still think cops have an inkling , even from a distance ,who the prolific auditors are, and that there is a bottle of Scotch prize for whoever bags an ID.
Auditors are too canny to carry ID or highlight their vehicles, they (the police),I'm sure bank on that "one time" slip up, where there's a stray bit of info leading to an ID.
I think that bottle of Scotch still has the seal on it.
For me it disappeared when I found out that muslim rape gangs have been operating for over forty years because they don’t wanna be called rays sister. They are as scummy as the politicians that cover up for them.
More than draining, it has vanished in just a few short years.
Seems unnecessary when there's no consequences of that.
4 plod for one person who isn't a threat.
Remember the plod are short staffed.
Would they know another language to get past the dilemma of such? Since we get involved in others business I think it's our business as well.
Calling people "mate" chewing gum.. Playing with their hair, ( like it's a fashion show ) utter disrespect for the uniform... Policing professional standards are non existent.. No wonder there is a massive disconnect between the public towards these boy ban wannabes... Great video AB.
I totally agree with you, related to the Peelian Policing Principles by Sir Robert PEEL 1829.
They hire anyone these days usually cretins.
Come on AB you have done this long enough to know IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO LOOK AT THEM.
AB is the hero we deserve!
And in the meantime the person they’re looking for is out of the country! Ego is a very dangerous thing for these people.
This is unbelievable,he actually said “we saw you wandering around, what’s wrong with you?” What crime is that officer, the police are an embarrassment, they must just let anyone join the force these days, because this lot are an embarrassment to the force!!
Yes, ‘force’ … not ‘service’
The quality of new Plod nowadays is poor. The training they get is good, hence why they all act and violate your rights in the same manner. They are trained to act like tyrants. That is what Auditing is fighting.
Lots have criminal records, then there's the ex. Officers you've been sacked, last but not least lots of ex. Police serving prison sentences.
