You do realise that there are no original manuscripts, all are 3rd generation copies, and these copies are edited, corrupted, misinterpreted, exaggerated, by the church. You do realise that the gospels are anonymous , the authors you read , were shoehorned in by the church hierarchy, so you don’t even know who wrote the gospels, so how could you know if they are true or not ?
My journey, which I am still on, started with my 8 year old daughter telling me: „Daddy, Jesus loves you.“ I was very surprised as she is brought up secular. I asked her where she got that idea from and she answered me: „Jesus told me“.

In several ways, the story of Romulus, the legendary first king of the Romans, is very much like the story of Jesus Christ:
1. Parallels exist between the story of the birth of Romulus and that of the birth of Jesus:
Romulus (and his twin brother, Remus) was born from a virgin, Rhea Silvia, who conceived by the god Mars.
In the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, Jesus was born from a virgin who conceived by the Holy Spirit.
Seeing them as a possible threat to his rule, King Amulius of Alba Longa orders the boys to be killed.
Seeing Jesus as a possible threat to his rule, King Herod orders the infant boys to be killed. There is no historical record of this ‘Slaughter of the Innocents’.
2. Mark’s Gospel provides an interesting parallel between the death of Romulus and the passion of Christ:
Romulus is king of the Romans;
At his trial (and not before) Jesus is referred to as king of the Jews.
Romulus is assassinated by the Roman senate;
Jesus is crucified by the Roman governor.
Darkness falls at the moment of Romulus’ death;
Darkness falls at the moment of Jesus’ death.
Romulus’ body is missing;
Jesus’ body is missing.
Proculus tells the people that Romulus was taken up to heaven;
The young man tells the women that Jesus is risen.
3. The author of Luke’s Gospel may have seen these parallels in the earlier gospel
and so improved the ending:
Proculus (archaic Latin for ‘Proclaimer’) was travelling on the road when he saw Romulus coming to meet him. Romulus told him that it had been the plan of the gods that he only be on earth a short time and that he would now leave and reside in heaven as a god.
Cleopas (‘Report all’ ) was travelling with one other on the road when Jesus came to meet them. Jesus says his life and death had been prophesied.
The first story ends with Romulus caught up in a whirlwind and taken up to heaven.
Luke’s story ends with Jesus taken up to heaven on the road to Bethany.
(Acts of the Apostles has a second ascension forty days later.)

Serious question: was it Jesus who impacted your life or was it Christianity? There is a difference. One was a historical figure who may or may not have existed. The other is a religion, which obviously exists.
I love that scientists and other logical practitioners are speaking up about their findings Too many atheists use "science" as their "get out of jail free card" without noticing the BIG inconsistencies in their "evidence against God".
One or two "scientists" are pushing their pseudoscience. The vast majority of scientists deal with what is real, supernatural myths and legends.
The reason we call foundational truths in science “laws” is because the early scientists were Christian and considered the universe to be governed.

So much contradiction in the bible. for example, Church says God is Jesus of Nazareth. But Jesus said the opposite, touch me not I did not ascend yet to my God and your God. These were Jesus last words. According to OT, this doctrine is an unforgivable sin that amounts to blasphemy.

Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". I bet that if mr Wallace would provide the list of books and sources he went trough, we could hardly read them all in two decades. He is at the very least a scholar. But from what I heard him saying in the end, he is also a theologian in the sense Saint Paul has put it: someone that is endowed with the streght of Hope, faith and love. Last not least: seldom heard someone speak so well of humility. And that explanation about the peril and necessity of free agency for love to arise is also supert. I credit it to GK Chesterton, a seminal influence both for Lewis and Tolkien.
This is why I love channels like this. I learn something new, hear about a new approach or way of thinking is challenged and broadened. I'm after the truth.

What I love about our Christian talented individuals such as these famous writers, scientists, alongside our faith leaders is they have now decided to "invade" the social media and decided to speak the truth. I loved the theme and it made me remember several aspects that I had studied about history. It is very interesting to explain how far the power and influence of Jesus Christ reaches; It is not a coincidence that such a drastic emphasis is made on all aspects of life after the birth of Christ, including the East, which is one of the regions that we could consider most alien or distant from the events in the West, which were potentially transformed by this event.
Even China, which until the arrival of the Jesuits was the country least open to cultural exchange; In truth, it was notable how the social structure of the Chinese changed with the arrival of Christian concepts. Although they have remained rooted in Buddhism-Confusianism, it can be seen how they themselves have begun to reorder their AD/AD history, even though they have a different calendar.

The broad view of history that sees a building of Christendom, and the erosion of it as well, indicates Christ changed the world for the better and we as societies undo that as we turn away from Him. That the same is true of the arts is important, and inspiring.

As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Lord heal me. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. Father God it is you that gives me the strength to keep going. I praise you Father even as I fear homelessness please continue to give me strength.

One more point about humility: it brings clarity to the heart so that intuitive perceptions can more easily reveal both subtle errors or deceptions along with their opposing truths. When the Holy Spirit opens the eye of the heart, and its gaze becomes steady, then an unmasked deception will automatically reveal the Truth it was obscuring.

Question below, but first: I love J. Warner Wallace. His was one of the first books (Cold Case Christianity) that I read upon really coming back to the faith. It tremendously helped, and it was incredibly insightful. So, I'm a fan of his work.
Question: I know I've heard people like Ehrman (also an incredibly smart dude) really beat some people down by adamantly saying that each piece of evidence needs to stand or fall on its own, and it really had me thinking about Wallace's approach. Because, in his words, it's all of these pieces of evidence TOGETHER that make the case. So, what can we say to someone like Ehrman, who wants to attack every single piece of evidence by itself? Is their position merited?
In order to debate something, the parties need to agree at the setout on what they agree. Not only that, they need to agree on the meaning of the words. Last not least, the two of them must have the love of truth.
Ehrman would look at a watch gear and declaim that it doesn’t prove that watches work.

It's obviously not the burden of proof for believers but God Himself to meet the burden of proof which He has for us Christian theists despite what Atheists claim are just unsupported claims. This has nothing to do with the video but please listen if you want to otherwise leave it alone and ignore it. Hello my name is Justin and I'm a Christian and Apologist but I'm also a college graduate. I'm not a closed minded Theist as I have nothing against Atheists or unbelievers as I speak to them often to understand their reasons for unbelief but we as Christians are convinced of God's Existence due to many real factors). I'm not trying to convert anyone or convince anyone to become Christians as that's The Holy Spirit's job to help people believe but only explain why I believe in Jesus Christ. There's actually evidence of God's Existence in Christianity. First of all there's proof that Jesus of Nazareth existed in history since the writings of Tacitus, Josephus Flavius, Pliny the younger and other historical documents prove that He was living two thousand years ago that even scholars both religious and Atheists agree with historically speaking but not that He's The Divine Son of God because obviously they don't.
I'm going to give you historical and archeological evidence for God's Existence as The Scriptures have prophecies that predate the events recorded in them by several millennia including Matthew, Hosea and Zechariah which prophesy accurately of the people of Israel becoming a nation again after over 1900 years of being scattered around the nations since the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 A.D. spoken of by Christ in Matthew 23:29-24:3 and returning to their homeland after The Holocaust with Jerusalem as their capital in 1948 exactly as Jesus The Christ said. The prophets including Daniel spoke of the time where several world empires would arise and fall including the Babylonian kingdom, Medes and Persians, Roman Empire, and Saladin and the Muslims which went in consecutive order for the past few millennia. The people of Israel becoming a nation after The Holocaust in 1948 (ironically the melting point of gold as God compares Israel to gold that's tested in fire in Zechariah 13:8 and Jeremiah 16:15) exactly how Jesus The Christ said would happen since God us everything to come in The Scriptures and not just because people were working towards as Atheists claim which are impossible for any regular man to predict.
Just before anyone says Christianity is a white man's religion made to oppress blacks during slavery you obviously aren't aware that the first Christians were Jews in The Middle East and that Christianity just like any religion can be used by evil and corrupt people to oppress others but you forget that the first Abolitionists/Civil Rights activists were Christians who sought to abolish slavery, racism, segregation, injustice and prejudice throughout American history. Jesus The Christ loves you enough not to give you what we all deserve which is God's Wrath by His Own Blood. Charles Darwin didn't originally come up with The Theory of Evolution over 200 years ago as it is mentioned in the writings of Ancient Greeks who believed in Demons that gave knowledge to philosophers.

I've studied evolution and abiogenesis in the past and read Darwin's " On The Origin of Species" and I'm not convinced of macro Evolutionary biology but I accept micro Evolution such as speciation and adaptation because there's no evidence of macro Evolutionary biology nor clear observable examples of it where living creatures evolve into other kinds of species plus the fact that fossils don't show evidence of evolution and genetic entropy rules out evolution. The question begs how did two genders evolve from a common ancestor with a perfectly hospitable and sustainable environment with breathable oxygen and resources to survive on inexplicably? Atheists have the burden of proof to explain how everything came to be and why our existence is possible without the Existence of God from an godless perspective just as Christians have to provide evidence of God's Existence and the validity of His Word.
Evolution requires life to already exist in order to take any effect in living organisms so it doesn't account for the existence of Life and reality. Also evolution is impossible because it goes against The Law of entropy and the second Law of thermodynamics because evolution makes things better whereas nothing continues to get better but decays and turns to absolute destruction in the end. Mark Ridley an Evolutionist said "No evolutionist whether gradualist or punctuationist uses the fossil record as evidence in favor of The Theory of Darwinian Evolution as opposed to special Creation". God's Existence is made perfectly known and observable in the universe as demonstrated in His Handiwork in the intelligently designed manner that Creation was made, human consciences and consciousness historical and archaeological evidence of God's Word being valid history, fulfillment of Bible Prophecies God in His Holiness and Righteousness could give us what we deserve in Hell for our since but He's merciful to give us free will to choose to accept or reject His gift of salvation by grace through faith in His Son Jesus.
