This game was my introduction to the stalker games. I have not played any other parts yet. After 4 hours of playtime, I managed to end the very first quest of shooting down some boars. I have not come any further yet
play original games first, anomaly is incredibly unfair and is just a sanbox, the story quests are just a fillers, original ones will give you a better explanation of lore and games are more balanced
Notice how the Makarov has a proper heel release. European-style pistols have that feature to encourage mag retention. The concept of ditching mags used to be almost entirely a Western phenomenon. It's called an "emergency" reload for a reason. Anyway, also notice Wolf's machine gun. It's either a PK or PKM. If it has a fluted barrel, then it's the older PK model which was the first of that series. *Edit/Note:* Since Anomaly has a spawn menu as a default feature, that means you can create Zone Sportsmanship Challenges! 6:15 The technique that I've found to be most consistently effective against that type of zombie is to shoot it in the head with your lowest quality ammo (typically using a pistol), then knife it in the head while it's on the ground. That's if there's only one. If there are two or more, you'll have to lead them apart from each other by knocking one down. Of course, that's if you choose not to avoid them entirely. Been playing this for the last few weeks. Ironman, Loner, roleplaying a hitman for Sidorovich, is like playing slavic Assassin's Creed. I'll kill anyone, even other Loners, as long as it isn't Monolith. Sid says kill, I kill. I have a set of disguises and faction-specific equipment I use to get close to targets when they're in or near their home bases. I move slow across the Zone, staying low, scouting for other stalkers and mutants. I'm not against taking the long route around if a checkpoint is too well defended. Because Sid always has SOMEONE on his shit list, there's no end of work. And I eagerly look forward to the battle that finally sees my end.

I remember my first time in Anomaly. Started as a Loner, as you do, got comfortable and equipped and went out. And by out I mean a few meters onto the road. I got attacked by 3 cats and insta died so many times cyka. If I survived the cat attack, I had to fight 3 cats, 5 zombies, a random boar, AND once I was done with that a helicopter attacked rookie village. Ah good times

Check out the Agressor mod (and other mods) on Waw Raw's channel, it's worth a look. It makes Anomaly look better than that Stalker 2 trailer, and with guns from Tarkov. Should be no problem for vodka cooled PC!
Blyat Boris, you haven't finished Tutorial mission! tutorial mission gives some equipment to go by. also, you can get some more stuff at the beginning, sawn off toz and medical equipment is advised. besides, loot rookie village houses and sell them to Sidorovich to get a foothold on situation. gopniks don't give up blin, you will get to chadness eventually
I heavily advise Stalker Anomaly for everyone out there. Even if you don't like the super realistic aspect, you can turn of a lot of these options and play essentially normal Stalker with some extra fluff. You can also adjust almost any and all values, increasing payout from missions, progression speed with your faction, trader prices, and also when and how fast travel works. Reallly there's no reason to try it. It's free goddamn it

Blyat Boris, you haven't finished Tutorial mission! tutorial mission gives some equipment to go by. also, you can get some more stuff at the beginning, sawn off toz and medical equipment is advised. besides, loot rookie village houses and sell them to Sidorovich to get a foothold on situation.

I heavily advise Stalker Anomaly for everyone out there. Even if you don't like the super realistic aspect, you can turn of a lot of these options and play essentially normal Stalker with some extra fluff. You can also adjust almost any and all values, increasing payout from missions, progression speed with your faction, trader prices, and also when and how fast travel works.

Intro is true 100%.. I stream sometimes Anomaly with Tarkovs health and injury mod + EFT's ammo/reload mod. Now THAT'S hard, if you play some bad classes and warzone.
