Pretty nice showing bro but you should know that first main blast riff is speed picking full of hammer ons. You kinda cutting lots of corners there. That song is more complicated than you might think. Other than such things you played it quite well.
Many thanks for your comment bro !!! Sure your songs are very complex and have so many details and subtleties in them, this is actually one of the many things that makes Morbid Angel stand out from the other bands and sound so unique. I would have loved to have a jam session with you where you would have shown me all these details :)
Thanks for your comment!! I must say that being able to play this stuff makes me love Morbid Angel even more, it makes me realise how Trey's music is out-of-this-world!!!
Thanks to you for checking out my cover and for your comment. Yes that song has such amazing riffs and solos in it. I remember when I saw them on their European Formulas tour, they've started the show with this song just after Disturbance in the Great Slumber as an intro. The audience was instantly blown away!!
@@patrikbnvn2847 yes! That 1998 show that's out there on TH-cam is so fantastic. And hearing Invocation of the Continual One in some of those setlists is just awesome. I think that era with Rutan was their height, from Formulas to Gateways.
I'm brazilian 32 years old guitarrist, morbid angel got me at age of 16 and still one off my favorit bands and strongest influences. I watch all your videos trying to understand a litle bit more of treys playing stile. I have to say: you are one of the most fucking incredible guitarrist i have ever see!!! I happy you bring new videos like this. ( I hope you understand, i no spech English very weel...😂😂😂)
Many thanks for your appreciation and for taking the time to watch my videos. Morbid Angel has been my favorite death-metal band since Blessed are the Sick came out and Trey is one of my main influences as a musician. He's such an amazing player and has created something unique with his riffs and solos. No one has ever been able to beat him!!
Hey man, what do you use and what eq settings do you use to get that formulas guitar tone? I’ve been trying to nail it for years but you’ve got your mids and lows dialed in perfectly with just the right amount of highs. Would love to hear how you got that sound
Hey! For the sound in this video I've used a Marshall JCM900 with the following settings : bass 7, mid 5, treble 4 and presence 6 on channel A with gain at max, and a ProCo Rat and an EQ in front of the amp. The Rat settings are : distortion at 10 o'clock, filter at 9 and volume at max., and the EQ is set to add a bit of gain
I will not be ashamed to say that this is the best enabled MA pieces on TH-cam, I think even th-cam.com/users/dannycynic is a little envious :) Good luck to the master \m/

Sure, and the solos on this album are out of this world !!
Dude how you managed to do the impossible, to figure out Trey's solos?!!!
It's my limitless admiration for Trey's work and Morbid Angel that got me to figure out his solos :)
