This angered me, and I DM'd him on Instagram asking if he was behind this. I also told him he probably should've tried get in touch with popular music labels and try get his songs on the radio. I've never understood why people have started to do this so frequently. Makes sense. Unlike alot of well known TH-cam commenters (Justin Y, Just Some Guy Without a Mustache, and many others) they stumbled into the role by just commenting really frequently. Most others actually try and some, including Justin Y, have entire algorithms and stuff to help select videos people are more likely to see. Not that there isn't still an art to it. But yeah seeing as all that attention was unintentional, (though she seems to take it well), I imagine dming them might have been going a little too far.
