As a person who uses kazuya i gotta say fighting kirby is actually a pain. Very small so a lot of moves dont work and is harder to work. Hes low profiling just makes it worst. Honestly kirby is a good counter pick to kazuya despite kirbys lightweight
funny story: during my noob days i used to main rob (bc of his up b and side b) when i played with my cousins, and when i got a switch of my own, i couldnt use rob bc i had to unlock them. so me and my brother grinded, and i chose kirby bc if his easy controls and six jumps, similar to rob having good recovery. then i latched on to kirby and never really felt like playing rob. when i played with kirby and only kirby, i felt like i used kirby TOO much. So i tried getting the hang of aegis, young link, or jiggs, which i got kinda decent at, but then i played kirby again. thats when i realized _i didnt play kirby enough._ now i play almost like you!
Honestly I started playing a lotta Kirby as my 5th main but I dropped em for iceys honestly he is a very solid counter against kazuya if u can get down ur fairs and down tilt trip combos he has a fun copy ability too but I genuinely think he is pretty slept on competitively but actually has some moves against a lotta the DLC characters that body most high tiers
As someone who plays a lot of kirby, i actually kinda like the kazuya matchup. You can quite easily abuse kazuya with kirby's frame data and kirby, being as small and light as he is, makes it hard for kazuya to hit and combo. And using kazuya's own laser against him is always funny
Although yes this kazuya is bad, Ewgf, is sometimes not what you want to do vs kirby, as he can crouch under it, as well as all of kazuya's combo starters except the trip, and grab
Up tilt dair can be sdi if the kirby doesn't read sdi. I'm guessing he airdodged because he was mashing out of inhale and did an airdodge as part of his mash.
Kirby is Nintendos strongest ally That destroys worlds. Ignore the fact his mind can easily be controlled hence demon frog from the anime. Luckily the frog couldn't comprehend Kirby's power and use it fully.
