A good day is when Carnasa uploads, my favorite content from you recently has been FAK but i still wanna see Coming Home Redux be finished. I know that it's been over a year now (holy crap) since the last episode but I DON'T CARE PLEASE DONT MAKE THIS ANOTHER NEXT MILLENIA!!!
Hey Carnasa I was wondering if you are familiar with the Selene Project? Given that you are following a mostly British space program. It was kinda popular a few years ago on alternate history and it got its own book called 'Point of No Return' by Guy Stevens with the premise of Britain having more than 3 brain cells during the 1960s culminating in a joint British-French moon landing. The book's approach to the landing on the moon and the return back is more unique as it doesn't follow the Apollo or N1 architecture with a crew member orbiting the moon while the other(s) land or a Soyuz ABC architecture. The lander cannot return back to Earth on its own past the ~450 second of the landing burn, requiring surface refuling which is achieved by a lunar rover pulling a fuel tank trailer to and from a separate, previously landed fuel module. This being achieved with 3 better methalox Saturn I rockets strapped together (called Black Anvil) and a French hydrolox upper stage (called something unpronounceable in French) Perhaps this approach might interest you or give you some inspiration for heavier vehicles than Europa, Ariane or Black Prince.
That inertia bug happened to me too. As far as I know, it seems to caused by parts overlapping with each other. Thankfully, quicksaving and quickloading solves it
The RZ.1 was a licensed rolls royce copy of the S-3D, the first engine in the LR79 series (this is the USAF designation, S-3D was the Rocketdyne designation, later versions also had Rocketdyne designations like the MB-3). The RZ.2 was RR's own upgrade on the RZ.1.
The HM7 of the Ariane doesn't have restarts, it's true, but technically you don't NEED restarts to put something in GEO. All you gotta do is push the Ap up to geostationary orbit with more or less the right inclination. What you do at Ap is you use either the satellite's own thrusters or a "Perigee Kick Motor" (the US likes to use Star-series solid rocket motors for this, the Soviet/Russians like to use a Fregat or Briz for similar purposes). Having hydrolox to do the job of raising the perigee is just plain luxurious. Technically you only ever need at most 4 starts on a hydrolox engine that inserts something into GEO from the surface, and that's only if it's the 2nd stage. If it's the 3rd stage, you can probably get away with just 3 starts. With 4 starts, you have a start attempt for LEO Insertion (using hydrolox 2nd stage), GTO insertion, Plane Change/Adjustment (if needed), and GEO Insertion. In reality you should be aiming for a little below GEO, with the satellite itself slotting into its expected GEO "slot" using its own propulsion, that way you don't have the spent hydrolox stage cluttering up GEO itself. Of course, if you have 5 starts and some extra propellant (or bigger reserves of RCS propellant), you can take care of the GEO debris problem yourself, by making sure it's not a problem in the first place, sending it to a "graveyard orbit" a few hundred km above or below the "ideal" GEO altitude itself. But since you already have multiple restarts, asking for doesn't seem like it should be a costly request considering that you already need at minimum 4.
Also, regarding the time between uploads, don't let it be of much concern to you. Unlike people who do this for the income, you don't need a consistent upload schedule. Since I'm subscribed to this channel, it takes zero effort to stay subscribed and simply wait for something new to cross my subscriptions feed, no matter when that happens. I have many channels that have "inconsistent" upload schedules. I still watch new videos from them as they come out, and I have other channels with more consistent upload schedules to fill the time between the inconsistent upload channels actually uploading something. Unfortunately the channels that have consistent upload schedules usually upload content which is also less entertaining per upload than the infrequent upload channels, but I suppose that's some sort of unwritten law of content creation, something like "the less frequently a channel uploads content, the more entertaining each piece of content will be on its own" seems to get the general point across. Either way, I like both consistent and inconsistent upload channels roughly equally overall, but for entirely different reasons. That all being said, I'm glad you're done moving house, and I'm glad you have a new job (which I hope you like). Knowing that you will be returning to a more frequent upload schedule is also nice to hear, but I'd never ask any content creator to upload more frequently than they think they can sustain, or to continue uploading things if they burn out or have real life get in the way of the upload schedule. I've seen creators try to do that, and you can always tell when it's happening by watching the content itself, you can always tell that something's missing from the way they act, and it makes me not enjoy those videos as much.
Ey, are you going to be following britiains plans for a moon landing? with like the "moon bus" and extended 5 month stay? Will you be featuring the pyramid vehicle? I have so many ideas man please
everytime i want to launch a sounding rocket and get some rp, it says not enough disk space. it says that for literally anything. i cant even get rp from telemetry data. i have been trying to fix it for hours and ive gotten nowhere. someone please help
Hey do y’all know the new releases schedule because I thought it was once every week but it’s been like 3? Idk am I being stupid or did I miss something.
We've had to update the install to 1.12.3 as there were some gamebreaking crashes n9 was running into, thats taken some time to iron out all the kinks but we're nearly there! And yes, Beardy is going to an event, not sure if I can say what it is, but it sounds pretty cool, was going to go myself with N9 but ended up not being able to afford the travel D:
Congratulations on so many successful deep space missions so early into the CSC's career! *Kerchoo*

This bug at 12:12 actually happened to me once. So I know it's probably not a mod issue since I encountered this bug when I still played stock
The Ariane I tease has seduced me to watch next episode the moment it releases

coming home redux better not be abandoned.

Britannia really rules the beyond
It's been great to watch the UK not abandon it's space programme like irl❤

Don't worry too much about the cinematics, just play as you did here, it's pretty entertaining to see your aggressive strategy paying off
I approve of this
Will you be making the Hermes Shuttle? Btw good job.
Yup, already made configs for it :D
@@Carnasawhen will that be? The idea for Hermes was made in the 80s. Will you have it by then, or earlier like the 70s?
Good to hear your new job is great! Love this series and can't wait to see more of it in the future! :)

Tried that, and it put the final stage inside my payload adaptor which did not end well 😅
Excellent episode from the CWSC, cant wait to see whats next in this chapter of spaceflight post Moon race
Good to see Carnasa is still alive and well, I hope

Carnasa have you got the crafts from kerbal gets real the next millenium?
After much internal discussion, the CSIRO has officially renamed the Australian built components on the Drake.
It is now 'the pub with no steer.'
it would be nice if you ever have a seadragon type or even space x floating landing pads for either to be dragged by HMS Warspite
Nice Venus mission! Only a few more steps before a landing there!

Bro what about the Kerbal gets real - The next millennia series ? It was really good, please continue it 😢
thats like the most FAQ. that series was like 2 years ago and the file for it was corrupted.

I've been going over the mod list. There isn't a way to create a TRAPIE, Total Reliable Assembly Platform, Interplanetary Exploration.
Heh i had the same rocket on scteen issue too, 3 times.
Its been a long timee 1335 days ago i was in ur live, youve improved so much!
For the glitches did you turn off your dlcs just like N9 did for the glitches?
You should “pay” N9 to be able to use the US comma network
