I got into sewing because I made the shift to vintage style (40s/50s) and just couldn’t find the colours, size and quality I wanted to wear. Ensued a lot of heartache as I had fitting trials and tribulations but once I learnt to measure my upper bust WITHOUT a bra, that’s gotten a lot easier! 😅 As a long torsoed, big busted, narrow sloped shoulders plus sized lady, now I know why I always struggled to wear RTW! I love the clothes you’re making. 💕 I have a tendency to plan too many things and then I’m into the next season before I can make them! I’m fitting in sewing around running a business. In terms of my style, while I do love dresses, I love to combine separates with unusual colours and prints. Many of my makes are Gertie’s Charm patterns and from her Patreon - have you heard of her? Lots of fab vintage styles - with cup sizes! 😊

Watch the movie. Itvwas made at a very different time and micky Rooney is ridiculous and it wasnt funny even at the time butvthe rest of the film is worth watching. Sabrina and Funny Face are great, but the fact she was courted by old men makes them more creepy to me.

Yes, Breakfast at Tiffany's is really quite creepy when you think about it but Audrey Hepburn had an amazing life.
