I'm a new subscriber and found this shopping experience quite enlightening. I had no idea you used quilting cotton for your fancy jackets! And it was a surprise to me that you buy beads in the fabric store. Looking at the jackets, I expected that you'd be collecting beads and fabrics from fancier places! It shows me that I have to look twice at things and use my imagination more.

Happy new year!! We have a blue colored bird that is so blue that when you see it, it doesn't look real. They are called the mountain bluebird. The males are so gorgeous 😳. Your Paris jacket is really fun. I did not see the green tendrils when you started, so it was a delightful surprise.

You had me at bead stash. Ohhh I hope you do make your own tweed. I thought of that too. that would be so fun!!! I also thought the Linton tweeds are not always in colors that are good for my skin tone (Olive) so I thought of adding threads maybe in my colors!!! You are so talented!!! I'm always amazed!!!

Thank you for sharing! Purple & yellow - together with green- is a color combo that has been very much on my mind with New Orleans moving into Carnival (Mardi Gras) Season on January 6. The purple tweed jacket very much has a "Mardi Gras Vibe" to it. I often use Mardi Gras beads that I have caught in past parades in many of my crafts (a fun way to recycle). I usually try to do a MG themed project each year & this video inspires me to maybe design a jacket to embellish using my Mardi Gras beads. Since the season is longer this year - Fat Tuesday is late this year on March 4 - maybe I can squeeze in several projects. Beautiful work (as always)!

Hello, Just found your video in my TH-cam feed. I must say you do lovely work. Beautiful individual works of art. I have a question. I’ve been collecting men’s cashmere overcoats because I just love their feel. That said I’ve also toyed with the idea of embroidery or appliqué. Of course, then too I wrestle with the idea of these cashmere overcoats are quite lovely as they are and anything I might do to them would interfere with the tactile sensation of running your hand over the fabric just curious any thoughts or suggestions on Kashmir or camel hair coats. If you know of anyone who dabbles with embellishing these types of overcoats. Please do share. I’ve even thought of deconstructing them and turning them into very warm quilts. Thank you for your lovely tutorials.

I must commend you on your expertise and working with tweed. Not an easy fabric to work with. Do you have a starter video where I could learn the art of beading? All jackets are gorgeous? I just love each jackets a cornucopia of color and beauty and most of all, skilled crasmanship. My favorite is the dinosaur jacket. It doesn't need another thing it's beautiful. Congratulations 🎉.

Your jackets are such amazing pieces of art. Please don't take them apart. I saw that you took the beads off of the pick one my mouth is still hanging open eyes blinking in disbelief. That jacket was incredible as it was. I think you should sell the ones you have the urge to take apart because taking them apart is wow. Just make a new one and make it better.

This is so pretty! I’ve been planning on making a jumper in this sort of style for years! I want to make it seem like a bunch of hyacinth flowers are growing from the top of the jumper, but I haven’t found the ‘right’ flowers for it yet, I think I’ll need to make my own.

Bugle beads for the string of pearls. Use bugles, add a round bead and top with a seed, run back through and add bugles and then more ‘pearls’. That should give you a string with the pearls popping off the sides. 👍
