I have been doing this for a while now. I only wear dresses - one piece and I’m done. I don’t have to worry about matching. I look and feel way better this way. After having a baby this spring I didn’t wait to lose weight, I bought nice, new dresses I could nurse in all summer. It really is nice to not have to think about what I’m going to wear!
I've been only wearing dresses for a decade now. Such a big difference to just throw one item over your head and move on to adding shoes, rather than have to choose two items that then also involves stepping into and tucking in and buttoning up. When it gets cold I just put long sleeve thermals and thick stockings underneath the dress if necessary, and add a jacket on top. And dresses (unless they are the super tailored close-fitting ones that you need help being zipped into at the back) tend to be a bit more flexible in accommodating weight changes. You automatically look more dressed up without trying, but at the same time you can use belts and other accessories to make it look more casual or more fancy or more professional depending on what you have on that day.
Yes to all of this. I recently spent a little money on myself to thrift some things I really loved because I hated everythig in my closet. One thing I have done is made my pajamas just a few pairs of cotton joggers and a few tshirts that don't look like PJs so if I'm making breakfast or doing chicken chores and the mailman pulls in I don't look like I just rolled out of bed 😅
me too!! I literally went thrifting today for some more “nice but comfortable and practical” tops that I can wear at home instead of my lounge tees all day every day!
I still wear those dresses as the weather gets colder also (though I've never lived anywhere that routinely gets below 35F in winter) - I just add insulated thermals underneath (long sleeved turtleneck, thick stockings, wool-lined ankle boots) and a warm coat over the top, with gloves and wool hat. So dresses are basically my year round uniform, and I just change what accessories I wear with them if needed to make them more appropriate for the weather and/or occasion.
I wear the same outfit to work every day. I’m a bookkeeper, and I wear dress pants and a particular shirt. I have three of each so they last a week and then I wash them on the weekends. I was self-conscious about it at first, but now I’m not at all. That’s the beauty of being in your late 50s… you quit caring much about what other people think and do what’s best for yourself and the people you love. 😊
Here is what I do as a mom who manages our farm on a day to day basis. I have 5 outfits that work well for actual farm work and 3 or 4 nicer outfits that are more town/church appropriate ready to go. I pick them all out on Sunday. Then a quick shower and a little make up and I am ready for lunch out with friends or a date night😊
As someone who gets overwhelmed easily, I’ve always naturally been into minimalism when it comes to my wardrobe/ makeup/ skincare. I can attest that it does reduce stress by not having too many options!
yes!! I am the same way. I hold on to old things way too long because I hate the idea of wasting but I do not like to buy a surplus of items and have an overwhelm of choice.
Dear Angela, I have just discovered your channel recently and love your videos. I have been wearing just dresses as my uniform for a good year now and find them to be completely practical while still feeling chic. I am from Germany with 4 very different seasons and I find it very helpful to switch out my seasonal pieces every spring and fall. I have a very small number of dresses per season (about 5 dresses + 1-2 Sunday dresses) and two simple apron dresses which I only wear around the house to do the heavy cleaning. My ONE struggle with this system is, when a garment needs to be replaced. I want to be so intentional with the items i choose, that I spend way too much time, searching for „the perfect dress” which kind of defeats the purpose of a uniform making my life easier. So your message was a very good reminder to have a little grace with myself and allow for change and growth in the whole process.
I am not a mum yet but I have been uniform wearer for years now. I have six dresses that I wear during work week, 50s style, I have shoes to match them, two pairs only, I have accessories to match them all, two cardigans and one bag to match it all. And I just pick one combination every morning and I am done. Five minutes and I am ready. Definitely worth doing, it has enabled me to have an actual morning routine I like.
I have been doing this for a while and love it! Every day it's jeans and a graphic tshirt, sandals or sneakers, and in cooler weather a cardigan. I even wear the same jewelry daily, with most of it staying on even overnight. The fewer small, boring decisions I have to make, the better!
I match my clothes up on laundry day. Pants go on a pant hanger and I hang a shirt with each of the pants. Then, in the morning, when I get dressed, I just have to grab the first 1 in line. When doing laundry, the clean stuff goes to the end of the line. This way, I'm rotating all my clothes and wearing everything I have. I keep my wardrobe very simple. I have black leggings in the winter. I have different color long sleeve T-shirts. And I have some nice sweaters if I want to dress up. In the summer it's black capris with T-shirts. I have a couple of tops with flowers or other designs for dressing up. I were 100% of my wardrobe by doing this.
I work from home and walk dogs as a second job so daily I am outside in sneakers, leggings and a t shirt. I do put on cute huggie earrings and mascara and tinted spf just to feel a little put together.
I started doing this 2 years ago. I read about decisions exhaustion and was trying to see where I could apply this. Then it dawned on me that my husband wears the same things, all the time! And he’s never as exhausted as I am.
I love this! I first heard of this from Dawn, the minimal mom. It’s a game changer! I started with only black tops and that worked for a while but hubby said he missed me wearing colors. So I changed it up. Black leggings and a flowy, tunic top. Easy, cute, and comfy. I have a few tee shirts that I wear that maybe aren’t as cute but they serve the purpose. ❤️
I’m not a parent but I did this when I started at university! I went on Depop and bought a few pairs of comfortable jeans and about 5 knitted jumpers. It was an absolutely life-saver when I was overwhelmed by a big life change!
I’ve been doing this for 25 years. My “uniform” as I have called it consists of navy/black leggings & jeans for fall winter and navy capris for summer. I have white tanks, short sleeve t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts. Depending on the season I top it with button ups. I love being able to just grab. I found a white shirt sleeve t I liked and bought five. I like the crispness of white. So glad you did the video.
I LOVE this! I love that you said it removes a decision, but I feel like on the other hand, this is the “make your bed” principle applied in such an practical, impactful way too!! getting dressed every day helps us be more productive, feel more confident in our capabilities, and just get started. so even as SAHM’s, if we have a “mom uniform” we don’t have to make a decision first thing in the AM to get started on a good foot!
I've been working on downsizing my wardrobe. Only keeping or buying colors in my "season." 1) I know the colors look good on me. 2) They are complementary and so can be mixed and matched nicely. I found a sweater that I liked and bought it in 4 colors that look good on me. Same or simialar pants/shirts each day but accessorized/colorized differently. Some weeks, I just feel like wearing one color sweater. That's okay, too. I can pair it with dresses, skirts, or pants that will look good with it without much thought.
Fashionista mom is like meal planning your outfits! Love it. I’ve tried jeans & tops (24-34) the 10-item wardrobe (35-38) and I’ve tried all dresses (great when pregnant)…now at 40 I’m like ehhh. But maybe I’ll try the jeans & tops for fall. Right now I’m in daily summer dresses.
I love this and naturally got to the same place! Summer mom uniform- two pairs of shorts, one Athleta flowy skirt, 5 of the exact same old navy tees in different colors. It’s THE BEST to not have to think about it! My kids also have like 5 tees and 4 pairs of shorts each for the same reason!
I love this concept! I use the Frump Fighter Outfit Calendar. No decisions necessary, I look at the calendar on Sunday for what I'm going to wear, put the outfits together in my closet and push everything else back. I look put together and different every day with a tiny amount of effort. Highly recommend! Now if only someone else would clothing shop for me! 🤣😂
Another option that we did for our whole family is have a color for every day of the week. Monday - Red, Tuesday - White, Wednesday - Blue, Thursday - Green, Friday - Yellow/Free Choice. This was great to keep the laundry colors to make whole loads of lights/darks, etc.
This video came at the perfect time. I literally just bought some summer dresses today since the dresses and decided that I’ll be wearing mostly those all summer long. I got tired of just wearing t shirt and shorts everyday. I just want one garment to throw on, look polished and head out the door. Then here you come with this video, I must’ve sensed you were going to make a “mom uniform video”😂
This is definitely why I started wearing dresses every day. And I wear the same dresses summer & winter, by just adding thick thermals underneath and a warm jacket over it, and then topping it off with additional wool accessories like hat and gloves etc (I've never lived anywhere where winter is cold enough to regularly snow, but I've definitely lived in places where it regularly got almost cold enough to snow).
capsul wardrobe! I love this concept. Its similar to minimalism but I would say intentionalism. You only have what you use and love and everything coordinates with each other. I have a mix of fitted T's in jewel tones and a bunch of jeans and leggings that I alternate around. Works great!
I was in the navy and I hated uniforms. But then I found in civilian life, I curated my at home mom uniform, work uniform and my church/dressy uniform. It’s a simple formula that takes some of the decisions away. It took some time to figure out what I need in my uniform to be comfortable, but seriously it works.
I feel like I just found the pot of gold on TH-cam 🌈🏆 thank you Angela 🙏 and the amount of prep you must have done for this video is applaudable 👍 *standing ovation 👏. Very grateful mom of 5 over here 😆 God bless and Mary keep you ❤️
I have my children kinda do the same thing. They’re free to wear whatever they want. But they have to get dressed 4 out of 5 days a week and I encourage them to make it easy. Some days they come in dress-up clothes, usually shorts and t-shirts year round, and Friday I allow PJ day. I’m trying my best to do a little more for myself each day.
I've pretty much done this for years. Home uniform, work uniform. When I was first married I only had a tiny closet which I had to share with my husband so I barely had any clothes. It definitely makes life simple!
Absolutely. I have 2 personas…..classic/preppy and hippie-ish. So I have classic jewelry….pearls, gold hoops, etc. Hippie-ish jewelry…..cuff/bracelets, multiple gemstone stretchy bracelets, big earrings. And I feel like myself either way. 😌
I kinda did this a while back out of necessity. As an educator I had comfortable and dressy clothes for teaching that were tough, easy to wash. Fast forward, when I had kids I made it easy. There are pants or jeans and tops that rotate. 😆 Shirts and dresses enter at summer. The nice outfits and creativity in dressing/fashion are left for when I go out.
THANK YOU FOR TALKING ABOUT THIS!! I've been telling my mom friends about the importance of a mom uniform for years! You have taken the words right of mouth in this video! Thank you for this video, I'll definitely be sharing it!
Mum uniform all the way! Mine is jeggings and navy or black tee. Have a couple of what I call "bonus" coloured shirts and henley top. Summer with tan or black sandles, winter with a cosy knit and tan or black calf high boots. A tan and a black bag to match the shoes in both seasons. So simple and easy - I love it.
I used to go to work in suits, then Covid hit and it was a revelation. We had to work so much that there was no time to pick and chose any clothing. Life became practical and we started to learn to appreciate time. In a million years I could not imaging myself going to work in scrubs. Now I’m only in uniforms at work and currently trying to figure it out about my homeschool mom uniform but getting there. I’m trying to get more sustainable pieces, both for my wallet and my time. Thank you for another great video🌸
I keep my closet with 3 neutral colors and a few bright colored contrasting jacket colors. I put outfits together and hang on one hanger. For fall and winter i usually wear black tops and pants with black boots along with a bright jacket. Spring and summer is white pants and nautical look tops or denim and shirts. These are what i look best in. Each set of clothes has a matching pair of shoes and a purse. I keep it simple. When I go schlepping around the house I wear my favorite tees and jeans.
I love this! Ironically, I have been doing this without purpose for a long time and, honestly, felt guilty for being “lazy” about “not being more creative and intentional” with my wardrobe. So glad that it turns out to be a net positive… 😂 Thank you for the new perspective and encouragement. 👍😊
I've thought about doing this for a while, but most youtubers sell it as "minimize first, then organize". It never occurred to me that I could both have a mom uniform AND keep my rarely warn clothes. 🎉 Thanks for the help!!
Thank you so much! You are so helpful. I recently have been wanting to dress better and have clothes freedom. I also had no idea what to wear for shoes. You have given me a lot of helpful Ideas. Bless you ❤️
I’m a teacher, on a normal day I teach four different grades with 20-29 kids each 🤪 and my boyfriend wonders why I cannot decide on anything after work!!
yea i was thinking this. I'm buying floral dresses to be my mom-uniform. I love how they feel, how effortlessly beautiful i look and how easy they are to slip on. no buttons or zippers. flowy and easy to move around in and work well with every activity and chore i do.
I’ve kind of naturally done this in life. Joggers and t-shirts are my everyday wear. I’ve learned to dress them up or down and it works for me. I love not having to think so hard!
This was a much needed video! I struggle with this as a WAHM. Somedays i look like ive been diving into dumpsters and im like oh my! This is encouraging.
I’ve got general Pinterest boards for Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Then, bi-annually, I’ll make a separate board for that year and season and pull pins from the general boards based upon trends and how I’m feeling. I also employ Jennifer L. Scott’s 10 item wardrobe technique. These two things have been game changers as far as having a fully functional wardrobe and not feeling the need to constantly purchase.
Yes!! I was in the army and a cop. I LOVE uniforms!! When I used to go on the road to work (my husband and I have an investigative business) I had 4 pair of work pants and 3 shirts and a pair of boots. Now I'm home with the kids full time and I'm shopping for new leggings to replace my pregnancy ones, and I have 5 or so flowy shirts. Same jewelry every day. It's like being a cartoon character, and I'm totally fine with it.
This is a lesson I learned some years ago. When choosing a daily uniform, you must START by being super realistic about the footwear you require. I would much prefer a classier uniform, but I have to stick to an "upscale athleisure" look because my feet will not accept anything but athletic shoes for daily wear. Even the stylish "lifestyle sneaker" have my feet aching by the end of the day. Build your uniform from the feet up!
Finding a silhouette for weekdays is a good place to start especially if you don’t want to wear the exact same clothes every day. For instance I have had seasons where linen / loose pants and a tight fitted tee or top was what I wore. Other seasons where tight pants like leggings or skinny jeans plus an oversized top was what I wore. I evaluate and change every season.
What a great idea and time saver (not to mention sanity saver) that would be. Looking at the calendar a week ahead and choosing for the week based on planned activities...game changer. All those decisions made at one time...gotta try this.
THANK YOU 😅. I LITERALLY HAVE THIS ISSUE! I am so confused by the different styles I have in my closet. This makes the decision fatigue go away and then the poor decisions about what I look like because it's that one thing I don't want to think too much about, make me look better without to much effort. Yes!!! This is a win!
So I haven't created a uniform, but I've been working toward a wardrobe with a set color scheme. So almost everything goes together. This works well for me for my job so I have lots of options that all work together so less decisions and digging through laundry
I would like to suggest an app called whering. You can catalog all your clothes and plan outfits. It will even suggest outfits for you (it's random but still helpful sometimes). I'm really low maintenance when it comes to clothes and this has really been helpful.
I’m not a mom, but I’m a 45 year old work from home or laptop that used to stay in Pajama all day because it was simplest but it was also killing my motivation and spirit. Since a few years I started to slowly incorporate days where I would dress at home and eventually it became an habit.I have separated my closets and storage spaces into area of my life. I have one entire closet for my gym outfit , one closet for my work at home uniform and the rest of my biggest closet is divided in 2, half for going out daytime activities (brunch, coffee date with friends, beauty salon, errands etc) and half for my evening out and date nights outfits. I made my closets works for my lifestyle and I only buy and keep clothes that fits in those 4 categories of my lifestyle and I live in a place where we on,y have summers, so no need to rotate seasonal clothing. I find that having organized closets helps me so much in being able to know what to wear. Also invest in a clothing rack on roller, best thing I ever did, you can pull out your outfit choices in advance for a big event and let them sit there until you make up your mind about what will work best.
My summer uniform is black leggings with black tank top. If I need to go out of the house for something, I can pull a lightweight kimono over it. It’s also cool & comfortable, so I can spend a couple hours in the garden without having to change.
I also did this as a teacher. I lost weight, though, so I bought new pants in 4 colors but dealt with many of my tops being too big because it was my last year-officially retired. Made getting ready every day easier. Interesting-In Iowa we say “button down” instead of “ button up”.
I am an ICU nurse so uniforms 3 nights a week. Just now weeding out the clothes that I don't ever wear. Love the idea of the mom uniform. So far it is trail/cargo pants with a t shirt and maybe a button up over the t shirt. Would love to find the perfect jogger to add to the uniform. Any suggestions? With pockets please.
I love this idea!! How can I use this concept as a working homesteader , homeschooling mom who spends a lot of time outdoors in the northeast with large season differences in temperature? I don't want to change all day long for animal care, school lessons, etc. I'd love some easy suggestions to eliminate all-day-long clothing choices !
I’ve realized over the past couple years that I indeed have a mom uniform. I have 3-4 church dresses for each season then during the week I wear either a dress or a basic skirt with a t-shirt. I do own a couple pairs of pants if I’m somewhere that pants would be more appropriate (like hiking or other nature-based activities). As someone who is tall though, it’s very hard to find affordable, modest options. I know women who will not wear skirts and rarely or never wear dresses. They don’t feel like it’s practical, comfortable, affordable, or flattering. It’s the opposite for me though. Pants are much tighter and show all your weight fluctuations plus can slip down when you bend over. They are hotter in the summer and don’t offer layering options when you are colder in the winter. I also think it’s easier for me to look classy, feminine, modest, and put together in a skirt, even if it’s a denim one.
My mom outfits did changed over time. First months post partum: black leggings and breastfeeding cami/athleisure tops. After a few months, jeans and t-shirt or cami. I go back to work next week, I'll start putting the medical uniform at the clinic even if COVID-19 pandemic is less present ... Easier to get dress in the morning. ;)
Loved watching this, Angie! May I ask where you shop for your button ups and tips on how to look for the “right” fitting button ups? I also am in love with the easy denim button up look ☺️
I am not a Mum but I realised in my mid 20's that I naturally have created a uniform for myself! I like how little I have to think about what I have to wear! I just have to decide which non irl festival/concert/band t shirt I want to wear with jeans that day as a example! I will note that I wonder how much of that has to do with the fact that I quite liked wearing a uniform for school! I also suspect I am neurodivergent, although not diagnosed!
No iron tailored shirt or quantity t-shirt (no logos), khakis (on a color or not) or jeans, belt, jewelry. I chose an outfit the night before to simplify the morning. I found an entire week to be too difficult for me, kept changing my mind.😊
Angela, only you could make me listen entirely to your video, even though the content is so irrelevant to me. You are so interesting as a person that I'm awed by your enthusiasm and watch all your videos, irrespective of the content. And I'm curious too about what your next content will be as it's so innovative, Mom's uniform!!! I never thought there could be so much about it. Awesome 😎
Yes, I did it all the years as homewoeking mum. It was just little bit hard, when some unexpected event came and I must dress acordingly. I had the right clothes, but maybe not the right pantyhose etc, bc I stopped wearing that type of outfits.
Not a mom, but I definitely have a uniform! I'm a tutor so I am able to dress casually but neatly. It's the dead of winter in South Africa right now so I own three identical gray sweatpants that wear every single day, with about four knitwear sweaters. Black or tan boots, scarf and jacket. Then on Saturdays I attend Bible Study and wear a pretty dress, with all the wintery essentials like tights and a coat.
Leggings/yoga pants and some cute long sleeves/sweaters for when it’s cold. Sporty stretch skirts and cute t shirts that pull down at the neck for nursing when it’s hot. Got all my shirts at a thrift shop for $3 each since my 8 identical style stretch tees all got pills and holes after nursing 2 kids! I also put aside the outfits that don’t match the season. That way my kids don’t pick the wrong kind of clothes for the weather! One less thing for them to argue back about 😅
This works great for spring and summer but what about fall/winter? Do you just put a coat or jacket over these pieces? What does the colder weather uniform look like?
I love having a mum uniform. Makes things easy. I have an unknown number of jeggings that look more like jeans than leggings, in black and blue. Not sure how many as they’re in various locations (wash, bedroom, storage). For summer I have a variety of plain t shirts and for winter 7 exactly the same 3/4 sleeve t shirts in different colours. Then a couple of nice button up shirts for going out. If I’m not going out I just find whatever is clean and I’m going for the day and look semi put together
I love this! 🙌❤️ I’ve been wanting to create my own momiform, just to make life easier. I’m not seeing a link to your Pinterest board. Could you share that? I’d love to see!
I literally am having an issue this week figuring out what to wear tonight to my daughter’s high school graduation!! I always fall in the trap of wearing the same things on repeat because it’s easier than trying to wear new things. So this should take up 34,999 of my decisions today 😂
I have been doing this uniform thing ever since I retired and I did feel guilty!! I felt if I didn't put in the same effort and time to dress as when working I had turned into a slacker!! Now I can forgive myself and move on.
I have a 5 pack of loose athletic shorts and then a pack of longer athletic shorts and several shelf bra camis and sports bras and tank tops. I also have some drawstring chambray old navy shorts I sometimes wear with fitted old navy t-shirts. These are my warm weather mom uniforms.
When i was in the Navy, uniforms were so easy and left my mind free to explore, develop and grow. Every day my only question was, "dungarees, slacks or skirt?" The Plan of the Day would often simplify that decision even further. Here i am, almost 40 years later, trying to get back to that practice. And Sunday nights were a letter to Mom, followed by ironing the uniforms for the week with a glass (or 2) of wine. Good times.
I think I have done this on instinct. In the summer I wear a popover or button up style shirt with golf shorts. In the fall winter I wear Jean or cropped pants with a sweater
Wether you are a mom or not, a style uniform is a great concept! :) For me, my go-to when I don't know what to wear, is a nice pair of jeans and a lace top. If I was a cartoon character, I would be drawn in a black lace top and baggy, light jeans. I am always drawn to that look. That obviously doesn't mean I don't wear anything else. But it is good to have something that works for pretty much anything. And I like to play with different colours and fit of both the top and the jeans, as well as the 2nd layer. So it becomes a form of 'signature look', but without looking like you wear the same thing every day. :) You can even switch the jeans for a skirt if you are going out, or use shoes to make the look more casual or dressed up. Also very easy to use different jewellery, change up your hair and nails, and use different belts/scarfs/bags/other accessories. I am considering wearing dresses on weekends though. I don't think it is ideal for my workplace; there is no dress code, but I think people would find it less professional. But it would be a good way to feel in 'weekend/unwind' mode.
I kinda did this accidentally. We went on vacation to my mother in law's home. As always, I took way to many outfits. So I just kept the stack of extras on hot stand-by and for a week I just grabbed and went. It was delightful!
Yup, been doing this for 30 years. White shirt, patterned skirt, done. Apron over all.
We have the same mom uniform :)
I am on the dress train too :)
@inspiredbynikki i dare say.
Me as well. Dresses look great, people assume I put in effort and I don't have to match clothes
Wonderful!! I mostly wear dresses too👏🏼
I've been only wearing dresses for a decade now.
Smart!
This is honestly a very good idea! ☺️♥️
me too!! I literally went thrifting today for some more “nice but comfortable and practical” tops that I can wear at home instead of my lounge tees all day every day!
Yes! I'm thrifting my clothes and got me some joggers and tshirts as my pjs too.
Chicken chores? Hmmm. 😉
At summer I wear knee length dresses A LOT. They are so easy! A dress is an entire outfit when the weather is warm or hot. That's my uniform.😁
I agree. I love my days in late 50s more than I imagined
My mom uniform is a pair of jeans and nice t-shirt. That way I’m comfortable but can leave the house to run errands.
Dear Angela,
I have just discovered your channel recently and love your videos.
At almost 66 yrs old I still love graphic tees. I briefly considered giving them up recently….but that was just a momentary bout of insanity. 😁
Good for you ! I am 6 years older and sit here very happily in my Kenny Rogers 'Gambler' T.
This winter I did the wool& 100 day dress challenge and it was tha best!!! You wear one dress for 100 days- I didn’t even have to think about it.
I also buy multiples of white tees. ☺️
Only keeping or buying colors in my "season."
1) I know the colors look good on me.
This is me to a tee!
Okay, I’m definitely going to look this up!
Another option that we did for our whole family is have a color for every day of the week. Monday - Red, Tuesday - White, Wednesday - Blue, Thursday - Green, Friday - Yellow/Free Choice. This was great to keep the laundry colors to make whole loads of lights/darks, etc.
I was thinking about that earlier today
This is a really good idea. 👍🏻👍🏻
I am doing this same thing. Purchased about 10 summer breezy dresses and I’m planning to just rotate through them all Summer long.
@@lorieflanders here’s to a stress free summer…at least when it comes to our wardrobe 😅
Yes! I’m a summer dress mom! ☺️
Yes, we absolutely need a mom uniform!!!! This has been on my mind for a while now. Love that you did this video Angela!
I also think that adding jewelry and accessories can elevate a choice of clothing
This! Needed no one talks about these small struggles
I don’t have a full uniform per say but I have a couple aprons that i through on when it’s time to clean and so the house work. It has helped a lot.
I love this! Ironically, I have been doing this without purpose for a long time and, honestly, felt guilty for being “lazy” about “not being more creative and intentional” with my wardrobe. So glad that it turns out to be a net positive… 😂
Thank you for the new perspective and encouragement.
Is it a purple logo ?
I love this! I always did this for my kids( planing a week ahead). I just never thought of doing it for myself. I’m def going to give it a try.
I also do this with my kids . Especially during school!!
Love your video, thanks! I will definitely try it!
Please make one for the hair as well!
I have a uniform at work. It was great to not have to think about it. I hate the uniform, but it helps the decision fatigue.
I love this idea! School starts next week so I still have time to pre-plan my outfits! Thanks for sharing ❤
Easier to get dress in the morning. ;)
4:01 Naked mole rat with wet hair in our closet looking at our abundance of clothes. 😂Sooooo true!
Loved watching this, Angie! May I ask where you shop for your button ups and tips on how to look for the “right” fitting button ups? I also am in love with the easy denim button up look ☺️
Check the video description! It looks like she’s got all the links there 😊
Angie, your hair😍😍😍 love the styling
Thank you Angie. I feel like my wardrobe is already quite pared down so am going to give picking 5 outfits on a Sunday night a go.
I’ve been doing this for a few years… love it…
Angela, only you could make me listen entirely to your video, even though the content is so irrelevant to me.
I’m moving states soon and want to start a more minimal lifestyle. This is a perfect start for me.
One less thing for them to argue back about 😅
I love clothing and fashion. I plan my outfits 21 days at a time (this includes church and work clothes)
ABSOLUTELY LOVE this idea!!! Thank you so much Angela! 😊💖💯
Great video. Thankyou for sharing.
Love this! Can you please share the Pinterest board link? 😊 It’s not in the description. Thanks!
If you don’t want a whole week of skirts or leggings maybe you could do theme days when planning the week? Wednesday is skirts, Friday’s are leggings.
Actually on Wednesdays we wear pink 😆
@@rrebecaathat’s so fetch
Yes!!! Fantastic idea. I’m so going to do this. Thanks.
Hi Angela.
At 16:04 you showed a picture of athletic leisure outfit with a crossbody/fanny pack. Where did you get the crossbody/fanny pack? ❤
I love this! 🙌❤️ I’ve been wanting to create my own momiform, just to make life easier.
I’m not seeing a link to your Pinterest board. Could you share that? I’d love to see!
I'm all about a cute top, jeans and loafers. It's been my "uniform" since I was in my 30's. I'm 52 and homeschooling 3 or my 4 kiddos.
I literally am having an issue this week figuring out what to wear tonight to my daughter’s high school graduation!! I always fall in the trap of wearing the same things on repeat because it’s easier than trying to wear new things. So this should take up 34,999 of my decisions today 😂
I absolutely LOVE this idea!
I'm on the hunt for my pieces! Loved the video and love the Lazy Genius!
Good times.
excellent idea! I am going to give it a try for sure. Thank you!!!
I love the idea of a mom uniform
You can even switch the jeans for a skirt if you are going out, or use shoes to make the look more casual or dressed up.
