This review is spot on. I own the GSX-S750 (my 2nd bike) and it's incredible value for money. Smooth 4 cyl engine and slick gearbox, power is easily manageable down low in the revs, a rocket between 5,000 and 10,000 rpm, and generally usable on the street, riding position is a good compromise between sport and comfort, throttle response is precise and linear, dash is simple and clear, suspension is perfectly fine for aggressive or relaxed street riding, no brake dive, tires are excellent (Bridgestone Battlax S21), front brakes are progressive and lack initial bite (some like and some dislike this), rear brakes are solid, switchgear is simple and intuitive. The narrow handlebars might seem a bit awkward at first but when you hit 120km/h+ on the highway you do feel much less wind resistance than on other nakeds due to riding position and handlebars. That being said, a good helmet would go a long way to reduce neck strain on longer rides on this bike. What would I change? Levers: work fine but aftermarket ones can definitely offer some improvement; Rear Fender: must be eliminated :); Exhaust: see Scorpion, SC Project, Yoshimura, Arrow for some excellent options; Mirrors: again, they work just fine, but a sleeker look would be nice; Turn Signals: LED signals would be an improvement; Windscreen (for long rides): not really necessary in my opinion, but the Puig Naked New Generation is a fantastic option that looks the part. If you're looking to step up from a smaller displacement bike, I would strongly recommend the GSX-S750.
Savagemotodog Fuel economy is not the best. I'd say it's typically in the range of 35 to 45 mpg for me. I primarily use the bike for weekend blasts or short trips out of town, so fuel economy doesn't bother me much. However, I have also used the bike to commute to work in the city, with lots of stops, traffic lights, speeds mainly below 50km/h, and I was quite surprised by how thirsty she was. If I were looking for an inner-city urban commuter, I might prefer an SV650 / FZ-07 / Z650 over this, but say for commuting between towns, a weekend trip or light touring, that smooth 4 cylinder engine does it for me!
very nice to hear that. Your comment itself is informative and a guide. Here in India It is going to be launched within a few days. I am planning to upgrade from my royal enfield 350 which is a different kind of bike. I am interested now in a street kind of bike and I had the z650 in mind. But of course suzuki naked bike design is the most pleasing IMO. But my main use is in the city.
I own a 2018 GSX-S750 and pretty much agree with everything you said about it. I actually made a 40 min review of it and made very similar points and arguments about the bike. I was looking between this, the Z900, and a used Street Triple. Definitely love it's dual personality and the fact that you can use most of it's power a lot of the time without being too fast. It's a fantastic bike for the price; very underrated!
I totally agree with your statement! I had the Kawasaki Z650 and wanted to have an upgrade to a 4 cyl, but not something with crazy amount of power. So I went with the 2018 Suzuki GSXS-750Z and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's definitely something I enjoy on a daily commute!
I’ve got an sfv650 as my first bike going on 4 years now. Looking for my second bike and I might need to go with a liter bike just for the extra power on the highway and the occasional hellcat. Here in the states most people are going 85-90+mph on the highway and definitely need the extra top end power.
Having a 200hp forever bike in my garage, I decided to buy a used 2015 s750 as a 2nd bike for short runs and errands around town. I discovered that I'm far more relaxed on the s750 and can ride much longer before fatigue. Love this middle-weight, as it can do it all and sounds amazing while doing it. It's now my go-to so much that I've considered selling my forever bike.
Great review. It's also nice to actually hear people talking about the pro's as opposed to comparing it to the twice as expensive Triumph Street Triple then saying why its not as good.
I've watched a lot of bike reviews, and most of them don't really give you a good feel for what the bike is like. Your review here is great in that respect. Loads of good feedback and relevant information. I appreciate that it's not filled with inane babble like most reviews. Very helpful! Oh, and the #1 thing I look for in bike reviews is the rider's impression of hard acceleration - off the line and through the gears. I like a bike that makes me yell in surprise as I hang on for dear life. The second thing is handling.
This bike is the last of the UJM's its a 750 with a direct lineage to the 1969 Honda CB750. I own one, and I am NOT selling it or trading it in. It has the potential to be a true classic. its not a 900, 850, 800, three cylinder weirdo-vibrator or a thousand... It's a 7-fifty the only true superbike!!
I happened to test ride the same bike that you are driving now. I got myself a one in Blue. 5 minutes is all it took for me to take my decision. This is coming from someone who has been a 135cc two stroke driver. Nice review and, needless to say, spot on.
Just bought the Z in 2019. First bike in about 10 years off a bike! Idea for getting back on a bike after a break I reckon. Totally correct about it being flat off the bottom, I almost thought there was something wrong with it. But great fun when you get on an open road. Now I need to get used to the sharp rights!
I have this bike, same color too. I have had tons of bikes. The review nailed it. I would add that philosophically (an odd term to use but hang with me) I love this bike. I had bikes with crap-tons of power and you don’t access that power nearly as much as you ever think you would. So, not only is it boring, but also analogous to when you see the jockeys 🏇 riding their horses up to the starting gate and the damn animal is totally confused and the jockey is just managing the thing. Its like that on a crazy powerful bike. This bike is fun.

Stuff that I'd actually be dealing with if I'd genuinely want to consider living with this bike. Quick tip, hope it helps you :)
Really useful review, thanks! Here in France, we can get this bike limited to 50bhp for 2 years after completion of the A2 license. Then it's de-restricted up to its maximum power output when you get your A license. Great way to learn how to use the bike properly before unleashing the beast!!
Nice review, i got me one of these and i love it...some of my mods... heated hand grips, givi soft bags and a top box, k & n air filter, yoshi alpha exhaust, radiator guard and upgaded globe for the headlight. I done a 500km plus ride west of Bathurst yesterday and it ate the miles. I had heavy rain through Blayney and the wet mode boosted confidence riding in heavy rain. It is a great every day bike👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Have the 2021 model of this fantastic motorcycle!! Might be the last of the UJMs. It rocks.. soooo fun to ride and has an incredible sound. the 750 ccm is thee engine size, all the rest 1(900's 1000's and 1200's are just inflation!) 750's FTW!
Coming alive from 6000 onwards is due to the ECU. The valves on this bike don’t fully open at full throttle until 6000rpm and onwards. Even then it’s only 99.1%. All can be fixed with a ECU flash. :). Also a common fix is to stop the fuel cut off when the throttle is released. This can cause it to be jerky. It’s done for economy and emissions so it’s up to you if you want to do that.
Good video, just got a brand new 2020, one month, 1600km, very nice quality, very detailed, all cables well hidden, all black, looks nice. The seat could be better, the back of the seat is higher, it pushes you towards the tank, not comfortable at all after 30 minutes, also the handlebar could be one two inches higher, again you are leaning on them. I don’t recommend driving on Hwy , too much wind above 100km speed. I just installed a touring puig windshield, helps but still not a good ride on Hwy, no problem with speed , it is too much wind. For city riding and county road , it is perfect.
The MT09 not only has higher handlebars but the distance between the seat and the bars is shorter, I found it way too upright for the kind of power it has, something like the Z900 or the 790 Duke makes it much more fun to ride seriously. But I guess if you enjoy wheelies nothing beats the MT.
Fantastic review calm and informative.. just subscribed also. Just bought a 2020 GSX S750 i love it a great bike I also have an 1800 goldwing so now have one for long hauls and scratching round the bendy stuff,
Great video thanks for the info. More to include is any other direct comparisons to other similar bikes. You did that a bit but that info goes a long way to sky one watching dozens of videos virtually comparing bikes.
Great video mate, I loved the fact you tried to maneuver the bike at low speeds. This is something almost no one cares about. A few things I'd like to know about bikes being reviewed. - Does it get hot in the city? - How does the handlebar feel? - What type of tires is it using? - Gas mileage - Ride it during the night (if possible) to see how good/bad the lights work. - What's the torque and horsepower? We can look for it online but to mention it is nice. I'll make sure to watch more of your videos.
hi - thanks for the tips - i'm always looking for new stuff to include in the videos so this helps. The night time one is going to be a bit hard since I can only borrow the bikes during business hours but the others are fairly easy to add in. Thanks again!
Have had the 2015 version for about a year. Love it. Extension foot pegs and risers have made the bike more comfortable. Also eliminated the rear fender on the cheap($5.00 in corner brackets). Great deal. Fun bike for a long time cruiser rider
Great review cool bike - but I don’t see how this is a better choice than Yamaha mt-09 or xsr900 or Kawasaki Z900 , ktm, etc for around same price it’s a no brainer
Even after 5 years, I found this to be one of the best reviews out there! Thanks for sharing!! I’m looking at this for my first bike. I’m in Canada and the motorcycle course is quite extensive here (which I loved). I was riding a CB500 for it and the exam, and was quite comfortable on it. What would you recommend?
Hi! In february I plan to buy a brand new bike. I did a test ride with MT09 and it was OK, but the bike seems smaller than this one. I sat on gsx-s1000F and it was OK (seat height 810 mm), but I think that gsx-s750 (seat height 820 mm) would fit even nicer as far as I am 186cm tall and have 84 cm inseam. What do you think? I also considered Tracer 900, which is perfect, but from my childhood I am dreaming of four cylinder bike. Do you think that gsx-s750 would be OK for me? I plan to do some 300-500 km trips with stops. Thanks for your answer. I am following you and your reviews.
Nice review with a sense of reality... We do drive a lot in citylike traffic. So that is nice to put that in. You could add a larger/longer walkaround with description of some details. Ine of the best reviews have been so far...
nice to see reviews at city speeds I ride 98% of the time commuting in the city and suburbs and all the other reviews keep going to the hills .... yeah good life for some but most of us work .... so thanks and I am thinking of getting one ... riding a Cbr650f at the moment ... I have ridden a reduculous amount of bikes over the last 25 years this Honda is more than capable of doing commute work ... but I think the Suzuki might be next on the list ... looked like u were having fun mate ... good on you
You read my mind. I have a 2017 SV650 and am looking for my next bike. I had a 03 GSXR 1000 before the SV and just got tired of the aches and pains. Specifically the wrists, and now that Im a bit older I was also getting hip pains on longer rides from the leg position. So thats my only concern with the GSXS. I know it wont be as extreme as the GSXR, but Im hoping the ride position is more similar to the SV, than the GSXR. I pretty much had the 18 GSXS 750 as my next bike, but am still researching. This video helped. Thanks
What you think you own a mt09 I own a xsr900 would going to this be a bad idea? I want to go to bike were I can use the power I find I never use A mode in my xsr900 and to feel I work the motor puts me on the edge too much. Your thoughts?? Thanks in advance.
I really like your mix of riding scenarios, because so many people ignore the city traffic part of the biking experience. I'd really like to see you do a Kawasaki Versys 650 as well as something silly, like riding a Honda CRF250 or a Kawasaki KLX250 in traffic.
on of the best POV review I found on youtube, the only gripe I got is the generic little noozy outro song you ear everywhere... for the rest I loved to see the accelerations and noise mic. cheers!
Good on you for giving this bike a fair review. You showed it is actually heaps of fun on its own when others bash it for not being as powerful or exciting as the Z900 or MT-09. It does have some stiff competition, but it’s one of the most complete and balanced packages out there and it’s priced right at $1000 more than an SV650! Useable power, good comfort, great brakes and suspension, and character to boot make it a winner to me whereas the others are mostly whizzbang engines making up for not as stellar ergonomics, suspension and brakes.
turbo311 i agree - I think this is a fantastic bike which is just in a super competitive segment. While it might not have the most amazing stats on paper, it's a very well rounded machine.
I would like to see performance assessment in enthusiastic sweepers and tight stuff cornering , comments on long time seat comfort, fuel consumption, gearbox operation ,suspension performance, wind braking .fueling, rack mounting for Ventura bag.
Thanks for this video. I am in the UK and looking to buy a middle weight naked bike for road use. I am coming down from a GSXR 1000 which was just way to quick for road use. You asked at the end of the video what else you would i like to have seen. Would be good to get more of a detailed look at the extras eg whats on the dash, what electronic does and have / not have, are the brake lines braided or not, that kind of stuff. off to go and watch your review of the Z900 and see if you have done a review of a triumph 765 RS
Sounds like a great all round bike! These would be a steal second hand - they aren’t lusted for when you think of naked bikes like the street triple/mt09/z900 so I think they would depreciate fairly quickly. Great review again mate 👍
thanks mate. I went on a road trip earlier in the year and one guy had the previous version of this - the GSR750. He was properly quick! I agree - a steal second hand.
YourMAATEJay hold overs is where the game's at. I got the previous version of this bike as a hold over when this model came out and had 3 grand marked off (so I got it for the price that I have seen some of the used ones shortly before that). From now on I am getting hold overs during the winter (well more so fall or spring where it is cold, I found they get marked back up after November a bit during the holidays), especially of models where a new model has come out
Hello from Copenhagen. Very Nice review and very similar too what I experienced when I tried it the other day. I had the Yamaha MT-07 18” and liked it for its build quality, riding position but it lacks power after 5-6000 rpm and it’s looks (think it’s a bit doll) made me switch too the very sharp looking blue/black Suzuki GSXS 750 yosihimura edition and I can’t wait too get it delivered in the middle of August.
Insightful vid, thanks! I currently own a 2017 sv650 and I just had mine derestricted and running on full 75hp and yet I'm already looking at my next bike as a step up xD Ive looked at your 4 comparison and twas helpful! Keep up the good work :)
You need to fix your camera mate. There's a block that appears over your tachometer whenever you accelerate. /s Top marks for the review. I had a SV650, and I'm looking for an upgrade. I think this bike will fit the bill.
Hoping this is all accurate as I will take delivery of my GSXS750 in July. I've always had Hondas and changed to a CB650F two years ago... as the sports bike position was starting to cause me aches. Superb bike but very buzzy and you get pins & needles in your hands. However, the new neo cafe design is just not me... so went for the GSX-S as very nice looking and lots of good reviews.
Thanks for this review. I've got an older GSX-750F (Katana) and a newer SV650 while looking for something with a bit "more". I've really been looking at Z900 and GSX-S750 mostly.
WeNeedASaga nah I'm getting off my Ps soon so I'm just looking around with absolutely no idea what to get next. Some interesting models being teased for next year
Hey Mate, thanks for a great video with lots of good information! Was wondering what your preference was, Suzuki GSX S750 or Kawasaki Z900? I know they are different bikes but interested in what your thoughts are. Looking at getting one or the other and struggling to make up my mind :-X!
WeNeedASaga, have you ridden one of these with a tune? I'm curious as to how the low - mid range is affected and if you get more or less from certain exhausts
Great video content mate! I’m looking to get my first big bike. I was initially looking at the SV650 but I love the aggressive look of GSX-S750, what advice can you give me? I’m 5’9” in height. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you very much! :)
Great review mate 👍 I'm looking for a new toy upgrading from my old 94 cbr600f looking for something newer and I really like the naked looking bikes. Watching your video has made up my mind I'm getting the blue gsr750 thanks mate 👍
I would like to see stopping power, especially from an ABS bike compared to a non ABS bike, I would also like to see some commute reviews, I commute 45 minutes on highway and would like to see what is good for that. Thanks.
Love your videos! Don’t know if I missed it but could you comment on the brakes for us? Thanks for doing this review, this was a bike I was wondering about as a commuter so seems to me it ticks all the boxes in that regard.
The front brakes lack initial bite and are progressive. I actually prefer this because I find it very easy to modulate front braking when rev matching during downshifts on this bike. Also, adjusting the brake lever to be positioned further seemed to make a world of difference in feel. I think it's a matter of personal preference. I also own a Ducati Scrambler which has Brembo brakes with strong initial bite, but I prefer the Suzuki's progressive feel. Rear brake is excellent.
What do you think about the wind protection going over let's say 120 kph on the highway? Is it really missing the fairings? I'm looking into upgrading my CB500F and can't decide between another naked one or the faired one. Thanks
Great review Mate, mind if I ask how tall you are, being a tall lad myself I found the Gladius a tad cramped so ended up on a Versys which I love but looking at my options for after restricted and I think I’ll be going back to a naked as I only ride for fun
thanks mate! I'm a lurch - 6'6" / 200cm so most bikes feel a bit cramped for me. If you're looking for a sporty naked when you upgrade, try the MT09 as well - it seemed the roomiest one to me.
hey , really liked your video! ive just sold my Ktm Duke 690 2016 and have been looking alot into this modell , do you think this will be a nice upgrade from the 690 duke ? keep it up ! Cheers from Norway
hi mate - a Z900 will feel a bit heavier than the 690. you also sit more forward on the Z900 than on the 690. but yes if you like your 690 I think the Z900 is a good bike to add to your list! p.s. I loved my visit to Norway! you guys have a beautiful country.
thanks for the feedback David - I like the numbers too but the main reason I don't spend much time on them is that people can find those numbers on the brand's website. i try to talk more about ride, ergonomics, engine character etc - stuff you can't read about online
Late to the party on this video - just came across it. One of my finalist for my next bike. I'm 6'5". You look like your about my height. Could you live with this bike with your size? Thnx Saga !!
Adnan Mehmood hm, that's a tough one. If you're a sensible kind of person you'd probably be fine - it's smooth and light so that will help. But the engine is also super powerful and the brakes are very strong so there's the possibility of it getting away from you a bit. I don't like to say a blanket YES or NO - it really depends how sensible you are. I do think attitude is more important than the bike in predicting if you'll stay safe. Good luck!
Probably don't expect a comment four years later. These bikes are even cheaper by comparison today. TheZ900 has smoother power and can be like an automatic. Ride it from 2-8000 rpm. But can't use the power legally. I like your comment about the rest from the Suzukis . the GSX S1000 was the same. An edge somehow, compared to the smooth Z. Looking to buy a new one.
this is a much more powerful bike than the Z650 - approximately double the power. while you possibly could start with the GSXS750, I would recommend the Z650 as a better starter bike
I don't mind when reviewers say 'flickable.' At least we know what you mean. I more dislike when they say 'smooth' because they rarely specify which of the many possible interpretations they intend. I'm curious what this bike is 'light' compared to. z900 is 463lbs wet. fz-09 is 421 wet. gsxr 750 k7 is 419; While this gsx-s750 is 469lbs. It's average at best IMHO. (Or are we comparing sport nakeds to Harleys?)
This review is spot on. I own the GSX-S750 (my 2nd bike) and it's incredible value for money. glad to hear you're enjoying it mate. It seemed like a fantastic bike to me.
I love this bike mate, but the fuel cosumption?

Khalid Bastaki what was your first bike? Was it a drastic step up to the 750?
I own a 2018 GSX-S750 and pretty much agree with everything you said about it. I actually made a 40 min review of it and made very similar points and arguments about the bike. awesome! glad to hear you're getting on well with it.
Hello can I ask why you did not go for the gsx-s750? Thanks
Inquisitive only difference between gsxs750 and gsxs750z is ABS brakes and price. Z comes with abs cost a lil more.
Yoo, no one has ever talked about that launch assist! That is so awesome!
New rider, SV650 owner... Interesting to see this bike talked about being a good SECOND bike..
Extra 40 hp and a nice bump in torque, but it’s a completely different engine, it takes a little longer to get the power
I’ve got an sfv650 as my first bike going on 4 years now. Looking for my second bike and I might need to go with a liter bike just for the extra power on the highway and the occasional hellcat. Here in the states most people are going 85-90+mph on the highway and definitely need the extra top end power.
@@keltecdan I went Z900RS Cafe, and it's more than enough power. I race Teslas all day ! lol.
Just wanted to say "Thanks". Because of this review and one other i picked up my 2018 GSX-S750Z yesterday and was immediately in love.
congrats! they're an awesome bike.
Youve been taught how to do a u turn properly. What a pleasant change.
Great review. It's also nice to actually hear people talking about the pro's as opposed to comparing it to the twice as expensive Triumph Street Triple then saying why its not as good.
this is really the best deal on the market, in my opinion. you get such a great engine for your money :-)
agree - amazing value this bike....
I've watched a lot of bike reviews, and most of them don't really give you a good feel for what the bike is like. Your review here is great in that respect. Loads of good feedback and relevant information. I appreciate that it's not filled with inane babble like most reviews. Very helpful!

porscheguy19 thanks for the kind words mate - the feedback means a lot!

Bernard Solomon thanks for the kind words mate and congrats on your purchase - they're an awesome bike!
You helped my seal my decision for my 2nd bike. I've been looking for an upgrade from my 1st Gen SV650 and I've found it. Great review! Thank you
thanks for the kind words mate - glad to hear it was useful!
Love my 2015 but those wheels on the updated version are SO much better looking than the 3 spoke joints that Suzuki has been using for like 3 decades
I have this bike, same color too. I have had tons of bikes. The review nailed it. I would add that philosophically (an odd term to use but hang with me) I love this bike. I had bikes with crap-tons of power and you don’t access that power nearly as much as you ever think you would. Just put my deposit down on a 2017 with this exact colour scheme, this review definitely helped make the decision
What I'd like to see are the bike up close. As in, take off the saddle. How easy is it to maintain? Do you need to remove this to have access to that... Is there room for a disc brake lock somewhere. Stuff that I'd actually be dealing with if I'd genuinely want to consider living with this bike.
Quick tip, hope it helps you :)
I bought it and changed the exhaust. Now arrow racetech exhaust sounds great without db killer.
Really useful review, thanks! Here in France, we can get this bike limited to 50bhp for 2 years after completion of the A2 license. Then it's de-restricted up to its maximum power output when you get your A license. Great way to learn how to use the bike properly before unleashing the beast!!
no problem - thanks for watching!
Well executed review. Great to hear the perspective of an mt09 rider on this bike. Thank you.
Thanks for the info..
The wind is clean - I can cruise comfortably at 80mph. Also helps with the forward lean.
I own the 2019 gsxs750 black edition and I absolutely love it. This bike is worth the money 👍🏻
Found this review after I bought the bike. Glad to see there’s some agreement. And my other option was the Kawasaki z900. 🙏🏿
Good point!
Fantastic review calm and informative.. just subscribed also. Just bought a 2020 GSX S750 i love it a great bike I also have an 1800 goldwing so now have one for long hauls and scratching round the bendy stuff,
Excellent review. Your love for the sport of motorcycling really shines through.
Ticonderoga Dixon thanks for the kind words!
- Gas mileage
- Ride it during the night (if possible) to see how good/bad the lights work.
The riser that you have added, did you need to adjust any of the cables or re-route them? Thanks
I have a gsxs750 and I have to say it's an awesome bike, so agile and precise, plenty of power and very rewarding in the Twisties
yeah I think they're almost a perfect road bike!
what a beautiful bike
I like the review only thing I can think of to help the channel is how available are accessories for each motorcycle.
What a great bike, I may get one, nice review
Ine of the best reviews have been so far...
thanks for the kind words! I'll take your feedback on board for next time too.
nice to see reviews at city speeds I ride 98% of the time commuting in the city and suburbs and all the other reviews keep going to the hills .... yeah good life for some but most of us work .... so thanks and I am thinking of getting one ... riding a Cbr650f at the moment ... I have ridden a reduculous amount of bikes over the last 25 years this Honda is more than capable of doing commute work ... but I think the Suzuki might be next on the list ... looked like u were having fun mate ... good on you
thanks for watching mate and I agree - whilst the countryside blasts are fun it's important to ride the bikes where they'll get a lot of use as well!
Trying to make that choice mt09 z900 or s750 right now. Something about this one is calling me.
So what did you decide?
750 seems to be more "playful" as per the you tube ppl.
Choose 4cylindr
Wich one did you pick? im pretty much in the same situation now as you were 5 months ago :P
herbits which one did you pick?
Love the 2002 in the garage - nearly bought one in 1987, wish I did and kept it.
How's the sv?
I really like your mix of riding scenarios, because so many people ignore the city traffic part of the biking experience. I'd really like to see you do a Kawasaki Versys 650 as well as something silly, like riding a Honda CRF250 or a Kawasaki KLX250 in traffic.
nice vid. I'd like to see more of the hi-res glamor shots and sound bites spiced into the video.
Love the video. Looking at 2018 and you gave lots of information. Great video.
on of the best POV review I found on youtube, the only gripe I got is the generic little noozy outro song you ear everywhere... for the rest I loved to see the accelerations and noise mic.
I'd like to see some cruiser style motorcycles. But for my first time seeing your videos I really liked e joyed myself
Just bought this bike but it’s sitting on a stop sell recall at the dealer at the moment :(. Hope to get it next week.
i bought mine last week! so good!!
Would you sell your MT-09 for the GXS750 seeing that you like it so much?
King🤣🤣🤣
The MT07 is a great bike but I think you will ve very happy with your upgrade.
I visited Copenhagen in 2010. You live in a beautiful city! 🇩🇰
WeNeedASaga thx.
I really hope I will..
" the highway entrance" yep that's it Epping rd :-) Nice one. Keep up the great work!
Insightful vid, thanks! I currently own a 2017 sv650 and I just had mine derestricted and running on full 75hp and yet I'm already looking at my next bike as a step up xD Ive looked at your 4 comparison and twas helpful! Keep up the good work :)
Pod Rider thanks man - glad you found the vids useful!
Did you end up with either? I’m in the same boat furent sv650 owner
I was just looking at these at SCM and wondered if you were going to do a review.. Turns out I hadn't seen the notification. Love your videos mate!
Chris Ratcliffe oh awesome - did you test this same bike?? :)
WeNeedASaga nah I'm getting off my Ps soon so I'm just looking around with absolutely no idea what to get next. Some interesting models being teased for next year
Yeah lots of good stuff coming. A good time to be looking :)
Can really tell you're learning and improving the overall quality of making and editing videos. Good stuff keep it up!
thanks for the kind words Jeffrey! Comments like this are really good motivation to keep making the vids :)
WeNeedASaga no worries I really enjoy them. Maybe don't shy away from the LAMS market reviews as well? As an idea for extra content that is
Hey Mate, thanks for a great video with lots of good information! Was wondering what your preference was, Suzuki GSX S750 or Kawasaki Z900? I know they are different bikes but interested in what your thoughts are. Looking at getting one or the other and struggling to make up my mind :-X!
What did you end up going with?
Hey man, love the reviews.
So glad to see tall guys reviewing these bikes. Keep up the good work!
Cheers Horace! Us tall guys gotta look out for each other ;)
WeNeedASaga, have you ridden one of these with a tune? I'm curious as to how the low - mid range is affected and if you get more or less from certain exhausts
I haven't sorry - only this standard bike
Great video content mate! I’m looking to get my first big bike. I was initially looking at the SV650 but I love the aggressive look of GSX-S750, what advice can you give me? I’m 5’9” in height. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you very much! :)
I'm 1,70m...around 5'7'' and I find it very manageable, given its a quite heavy bike
where it's?
i love suzuki gsx-s750
Great review Mate. I love the GSX 1000 S. Nice Channel. Greetings from South Australia.
This is my dream bike 👌😊
How about discussing the seat comfort, or the highway cruising comfort, or the ease of access to the oil filter, the gauge indicators, etc.? Thanks.
Great review mate 👍 I'm looking for a new toy upgrading from my old 94 cbr600f looking for something newer and I really like the naked looking bikes. Watching your video has made up my mind I'm getting the blue gsr750 thanks mate 👍
Gsx-s750 😂 that one
nice one! I think you'll have a blast on the Suzuki, they're a lot of fun...
PistolPete63 sorry about missing the brakes - I realised when I was editing that I'd forgotten about it...
Khalid Bastaki thank you!
Can you do a comparison between the 750 and the 1000 GSXS
Just bought it last night brand new bro sup
good on you! congrats.
SoCal Rider how does the headlamp works at night
This would be a nice touring bike if they put a fairing and saddle bags similar to the gsxs1000 gt. Slightly less but still plenty of power
Nice vid I collect mine Saturday 😎
Solid review bro, really enjoyed it! Makes me want to ride one! Love the Suzuki growl!
thanks mate. yeah there's something unique about Suzuki engines which I really like
very very interesting content in this video, really you answered a lot of subjective things i asked myself about this bike. thank you.
hey , really liked your video! ive just sold my Ktm Duke 690 2016 and have been looking alot into this modell , do you think this will be a nice upgrade from the 690 duke ? keep it up !
@@WeNeedASaga will get a test drive arranget at first i think , Thanks for the reply :)
Great video. I'm a numbers guy. I like to know HP and torque figures and acceleration times. Top speed things like that
thanks for the feedback David - I like the numbers too but the main reason I don't spend much time on them is that people can find those numbers on the brand's website. i try to talk more about ride, ergonomics, engine character etc - stuff you can't read about online
Great Vlog. Nice bike really enjoyed it. Well done
Excellent review mate!😀
Late to the party on this video - just came across it. One of my finalist for my next bike. I'm 6'5". You look like your about my height. Could you live with this bike with your size?
Thnx Saga !!
great review, currently looking to buy my 1st bike. just passed on a suzuki 650, whats this like for newer riders?
Adnan Mehmood hm, that's a tough one. If you're a sensible kind of person you'd probably be fine - it's smooth and light so that will help. But the engine is also super powerful and the brakes are very strong so there's the possibility of it getting away from you a bit. I don't like to say a blanket YES or NO - it really depends how sensible you are. I do think attitude is more important than the bike in predicting if you'll stay safe. Good luck!
WeNeedASaga went out and bought one today, picking it up in 2 weeks. Your review really helped thanks, defo be sensible on this!
Looking to buy a new one.
you said it was a little flat down bottom. But in the video it looks like you have traction control 3 on? That will flatten your acceleration.
Would this also be a good starter bike like the Kawasaki Z650 considering that I'm 6'3 in a half in height? Great video btw.
this is a much more powerful bike than the Z650 - approximately double the power. while you possibly could start with the GSXS750, I would recommend the Z650 as a better starter bike
WeNeedASaga Got it thanks, will take that advice seriously.
13:59 i remember that it has front suspension adjustment!
Why is the spare key flapping all over the top of the tank ?? do you think chipped paint will add to the bikes appeal ?.
I have watched a lot of MC videos, but never one with a GSX-S 750 where the person recording is not (involuntarily) grinning like a maniac;-)
HOW TALL ARE YOU?
I don't mind when reviewers say 'flickable.' At least we know what you mean. I more dislike when they say 'smooth' because they rarely specify which of the many possible interpretations they intend. I'm curious what this bike is 'light' compared to. z900 is 463lbs wet. fz-09 is 421 wet. gsxr 750 k7 is 419; While this gsx-s750 is 469lbs. It's average at best IMHO. (Or are we comparing sport nakeds to Harleys?)
Ktm 790!!! have you rode one yet? as im thinking about trading my triumph for something more fun aka launch control
I know this is an old video but, do you prefer this bike to the z900? Can’t make up my mind on which I enjoy more
