I have just bought the 2018 GSX-S750Z (Phantom) - Just dud 2,500 mile trip across (mostly) France, alpine twisties, main roads, sweeping farm land B roads, all stacked up with luggage. Awesome bike, handled everything prefectly.
Rob Walker hey I’m trying to decide if I should get the version you have or if I should get the 2018 GSX- S1000z. I’m not sure. I’ve never owned a motorcycle but I grew up operating farm equipment/ Atvs and snowboarding so I have a good sense of balance and power control. I’m 24 yo 6ft and 2inches tall at 170 lbs . I am just trying to get an honest opinion before I go buying one. I really want to travel through the mountains and make day maybe 2 day trips/ drives with this
I ride Suzukis, love the 750 inline 4 engine, I bought the 2015 GSX-S750ZA and it"s awesome. Smooth, comfortable, bulletproof, cornering is insane. IMO Suzuki makes perfect bikes.
They're solid bikes and very reliable, but after owning four in the last 11 years I changed to Yamaha and I don't see any reason why I'd sell my MT-09 SP, to be honest.
@@bdziver12 I understand your point, mate. I did change the geometry of my SP by fitting specially made clip-ons and it completely changed the bike's feeling (the geometry got pretty close to the Street Triple RS). But I got bored of the styling (too plasticky) and I got a 2019 CB1000R. I can't get enough of that thing, and the Neo Sports Cafe styling is absolutely spot on in my opinion.
They do make really good bikes, but since it’s not yamaha, and rossi doesn’t ride suzuki, no one thinks they’re good. One thing suzuki is the best at, out of all the bikes i’ve ridden at least, is the gearboxes.
Saw this bike at the dealer yesterday, ABS version, and it looks amazing. Only bike that really caught my eye. I wasn't even considering nakeds until I saw this one. Absolutely killer looking in person :))
Update on bike! I've done some aesthetic changes. It now sports a Yoshimura graphics kit. I've also added a Puig windscreen, a new seat, a rear seat cowl, and sequential turn signals & led headlights. To compliment the graphics, I also have a Yoshimura Alpha T slip on! My main camera has been out of commission for a while now. I'm hoping to get it fixed soon.
Many comments from people having 2015 or older GSX-S which is another bike. The new GSX-S was new for 2017. The 2015 or older GSX-S 750 is the same as the GSR 750 in other countries. Same engine with less refinement and HP. The new which came in 2017 is another level bike.
Been using the 2017 model bike for commuting and weekend fun. The power is perfect for public roads and sounds amazing with an after market exhaust. Small niggles are the bike does sometimes feel buzzy in the handlebars and the seat is quite hard. Overall though a great bike from Suzuki.
Watched the whole thing. Very cool. I'm picking up a red '18 tomorrow! I'm coming from a 2007 ZX-6R and this bike is something really nice. I was considering strongly the MT-07 (even the ones in the States are called that now) and Honda's CB650F. But this bike has all the electronic wizardry, more sporty suspension, and that under cowl looks nice. This thing is wicked, and I love the power delivery of an inline-4, and this one should have more low and mid-range than my Ninja. I've loved the nakeds for a year or so and I think this will be a great bike for me. I create some content too and hope to get some nice vids done on it. I'll throw you a sub, mate. Cheers from Florida. 🤙👌
Actually according to my research it has 15 foot pounds of Torque more than 2015 and the gearing is higher on back at 43 tooth thus producing More power than the Gsxr 750 plus the 6th is longer..The 0-60 and Q mile specs are better on the new s 750 than the old r 750..Otherwise regardless of Jargon ,end of day we love this bike so congratulations.. Good work. Loved and agreed fully with the rest of the review .At 5" 9 I can fully flat foot both sides..and have no throttle snatch at all ,,Its an easy voltage fix anyhow etc,Australian models seem to be better as this is my 4th Brand new bike in last 10 yrs.
Absolutely informative, loved the review. Subscribed now. I remember seeing some of your video earlier, so watched this start-to-end. This one just launched last month in Mumbai. So far, loved SV650 way too much, other than CB1100RS, but both aren't available in India. Developed plenty of liking towards this baby inline four from Suzuki, seems like superb value for money. Hooligans may opt for MT09/10 or Z900/1000, but greater torque at lower rpm is whats sets the machine apart, b'coz not all take their bikes to track! How the machine behaves on road in real world situations and how reliable and safe the the overall package is, also matters, at least to me, it does. And, you meet fun when you choose your ideal machine based on what you are really looking for, in a bike. If looking for crazy speed, then higher torque with power at max rpm is the way to go; but not to forget: Speed Thrills, But it also Kills! For all other needs, greater torque at minimum rpm range, gives the maximum thrill & fun.. Thanks for a video, Enjoyed it. Would you mind if i ask the name of the track you played at the end? : )
Buddy cheers for making this video was comparing between this and a benelli tnt 600i as everyday commuter and since this just launched in india just booked the bike after seeing your video , thanks a ton and safe riding
Aditya Kolasani, me too 👍 loved Kevin's review. And actually ended up enquiring at Dream Suzuki, Juhu, Mumbai, which is ₹9.25L Absolutely gorgeous & Perfectly balanced machine, not just it's sound, but everything about it as a package. Enough to provide thrill on weekend getaway or daily ride.
Aditya Kolasani, happy for you man 👍 I had just enquired b'coz I loved it way too much. Cost I'm assuming the highest in Mumbai than any part of the country.. But dealer guy was about to tell the final price.
***CORRECTIONS -The front sprocket rather than the rear was adjusted, adding more teeth to increase acceleration. -The forks were already upside-down but are new KYB shock absorbers, which are of higher quality and offer a wider range of comfortable rebound! -The rear brake has only one piston. My apologies regarding the misinformation. Thanks for watching!
I live in the States (Merica) and have the 2015 gsxs 750. The first year released stateside; yes I'm aware of the facts and all the reviews. I still am a pretty big fan of it as a second bike. I like the overall design and dash lay out of mine better then the revamped version. I wouldn't mind the better brakes, suspension or hp that they've got. But I can forego the modes. I've done a few modifications in regards to the megaphone gp slip on and sliders/spools and case savers (the same trex you've got) and levers, mirrors and fender eliminator. Next year I think I'll replace the brake lines to braided and maybe upgrade the pads and rotors. Also the indicators need addressing. I gave them a coat or two of nightshade for now.
All this being said; out of the bikes discussed, the z900 is the better bike hands down. I talked a good friend into the procurement of a z900 and it means business!
I respect that! I should have addressed the lack of commentary regarding the z900. At the time of the video, I wasn't that knowledgeable about it's specs and performance and therefore didn't want to make false claims or statements in my comparisons. However, I did get a chance to sit on it when I was looking at bikes and would definitely consider it a great choice. Because the z900 was designed to be the new flagship, replacing both the z800 and z1000, I have trouble fitting it into one defined category. This also helps understand where the S-750 fits in; because of it's smaller displacement, the Suzuki is inherently less powerful and has a lower torque peak than both the FZ and Z900. In my opinion, it's pretty clear Kawi and Yamaha were looking to sell each model for a broader market; they're much closer to the supernaked category than the Suzuki, which makes sense since they offer the S-1000. Now, does that performance gap along with nearly identical pricing make the S-750 a bad deal? I don't think so! Cost is a function of many variables, not just power output (obviously). I embrace the freedom of selection; I think it's great to see all of the bike manufacturers in the middleweight naked category because it creates strong competition which then drives design uniqueness, model updates, and happy bikers. I really did consider the first gen S-750 but because my motorcycle accident on my Suzuki S40 resulted because of gravel and no traction control, the introduction of the TCS on the new model was a major selling point and helps keep my mind at peace. Enjoy your gixxis and safe travels!
On the top end this GSXS750 get away from the FZ09... this bike is sold really short on power for no reason. I think the engine tuning is better than the FZ, and a better chassis and suspension setup if you ask me. And a huge plus for me, when going for an exhaust all you need is a slip-on for this and make it loud a crap... its pretty much a straight pipe after that. With the FZ only option is more costly full system or cunning the exhaust. For bikes great, bur for performance oriented ride, GSXS750 is the way to go... So me and my GSXS in love all day every day!
Yeah I'm with you. For a bike that's cheaper than the FZ-09, the engine, chassis, and suspension are so much more refined. The GSXS feels so firm and rigid in corners, yet extremely flickable. True, Yamaha engineered the 849 specifically for this bike, but having an already outstanding engine that is 9 years older (compared to the 2005 K5 vs the 1st year of the FZ-09) that kicked ass in it's heyday; they made the best choice with all else considered from a mechanical engineer's viewpoint:), deciding to tweak exhaust flows and fueling inputs. I actually ordered the Yoshimura Alpha T and had it delivered but decided to send it back for financial reasons. Hopefully it will be on my bike next year. But yeah, the only good sounding system for the FZ imo is the akrapovic full sys and I still think the Yosh slip on sounds wayyy better. When I tell people I have a new bike and they ask what kind, I reply with "laid back crotchrocket" haha; it really is the quintessential one of said kind.
I added a slip on, but kept the DB killer in. I found that with it out the exhaust drowned out that beautiful induction noise you get on the GSXS. I'm thinking of changing the headers for Arrow, then getting the ECU remapped. Theres another 10hp available if you want it. There's a few clips of my bike on TH-cam.
Nigel Fisher 2018 GSXS 750. Yosh slip on, ECU flashed, re-mapped fuel delivery, 02 sensor turned off, thermostat set at 180 degrees and K&N filter. 113.2 horsepower at the rear wheel.
Hey thanks for the kind words! I've always wanted to ride a Busa, but damn, the jerkiness would bug me out on a bike like that haha. The naked bike scene is really popular now; there's one for every type of rider. Safe travels and thanks for the comment!
I threw a puig windscreen on my GSX-S750 and it made a pretty big difference on wind pressure on my chest. I can ride it very comfortably at 60 mph with minimal pressure. Love this bike, Still not through the break in yet, currently at 550 miles but it's way too much fun.
Never even noticed this bike until now! Super nice! Reminds me of what Cap America might roll on wknds lol. Sold my built Busa and been borrowing my cousin's 16 R1. Been torn on just a fun r6 or gxxr6 or even a triumph. Never like harleys or many cruisers. Thought i liked the mt9 until seeing your bike! Perfect engine and naked looks fantastic! Love color choice too. Thanks for sharing man! Going look at one this wknd. Be safe riding and take care bro. ✌Edit:Would love see some side camera shots of you on bike riding and leaning. Don't know your height, weight but appears comfy no matter. I'm 6"2 and early 40s and bit over laying on tanks lol. Enjoy your baby!
I own this. Bike. I love everything about this bike, except the brakes. Not firm enough. Single piston in the rear caliper. Changed up the brake lines to Galfer braided lines and added 2” to allow the bar risers to be installed. EBC brake pads help tremendously. No longer squishy, however, still needs further refinement. I’m thinking the GSXS1000 front caliper may fit. Not sure.
This is the last "sevenfifty" produced by any japanese company! I got the last year produced (2021) and i got it in the good color (like video). This bike is gold, and it is going to appreciate in value going forward... I would lecture you ,on the UJM but suffice to say, this is the last 750 (see CB 750 from 1969) ;-) anxiousappliance
Increasing acceleration with a sprocket change will lower the top speed. Increasing acceleration with the rear sprocket will require an increase in the number of teeth. Increasing acceleration with the front sprocket will require a decrease in the number of teeth. Changing the front sprocket costs less but will wear the chain faster.
I rode GSX-S750 (the new one) and Z900 back-to-back and both are great bikes. I just wish they would've increased the rev limiter by 250 RPMs on the GSX-S. With the shorter gearing it can feel you're running out of the fun zone too quickly and you could've enjoyed listening to the wonderful roar from the airbox a bit longer.
Yeah I agree with you on the rev limiter. I'm not entirely sure why Suzuki couldn't have raised it a bit. But the shorter gearing is ton of fun for me, although I find I'm doing "prison speeds" relatively quickly haha! But overall, a great bike. I did take a look at the Z900 but I didn't think it was a bike for me. But hey, maybe I'll get a chance to ride it in the future. Thanks for the comment man!
Yep, most ECU flashes on the market for most of these kinds of bikes usually increase rev limit 200-500 rpm, depending on the model. Of course these engines are based on former supersports which revved higher, but probably the pistons and/or con-rods have been downgraded to something slightly less robust (and less expensive) for use in the street-biased versions.
FYI...Suzuki is finalizing a recall to all 2018 GSX-S750’s. All VIN’s. Fuel Pump O-Rings are being replaced. Dealers should have the service bulletin soon and should be able to order the parts late this week or next week. It also applies to all VIN’s of 2017-18’ GSX-S1000’s.
Good review! I have a Bandit 12 and a GSXR 750 and love them both. Suzuki knocked it out of the park with that motor as it will do everything well. I'm thinking of adding this bike to the garage. Nice roads in your part of PA ( Berks or Lancaster county?) I thought you might be in Southeastern PA but I didn't see a Wawa every other mile off the road! Enjoy your bike and thanks for sharing! EW
Westmoreland Co! My mom grew up in Mechanicsburg, so I know that area pretty well! Man, I love the 750 motor; the perfect balance of a 600 and 1000. Thanks for the kind words! Enjoy those two beasts, ride safe friend.
@@TheHDTheater Dude, I'm thinking of upgrading my 03 600 Bandit. I like the seating position and ABS. Would like a windshield but aftermarket is there. Also, I noticed you ride a lot in the middle of the lanes. Just be careful as the oil from cars. Good review bro.
@@Jesusprayerwarriorbw I had a 02 bandit 600s and loved that thing . Could ride it all day . Got a fz07 with that stupid ass supersport seat and sold it .
I can’t recommend the Yamaha mt-07. Had it for a year and got bored with it, cause the lack off power at the high end. I bought to cheep. After a year I changed it to a used GSXS-750 yoshimura edi. And it is so so so much better than the my-07. I still love my GSXS and I will have this bike for many years because it dose everything so well. Enjoy the summer 🌞🏍
Cheers man! I hope you enjoy it for a long time! Still loving mine. I'm sure if I lived in a big city, the MT-07 would put a smile on my face with speed restrictions, but on the open road it loses a lot on the top end. Once I can afford it, I'm gonna get my Sony cam fixed so I can do more vids🤞. Happy riding season 🏍️
True! It's a little lower in terms of power but definitely a competitor. I would put it against the fz-07, sv650, ninja 650, and fz6r for all intents and purposes as I consider that a possible first bike for new riders and I think it dominates that bike category
Thank you thank you! I have to earn it! Unfortunately, videos only stand out if they have excessive editing and/or clickbait titles...gotta adapt to the times, eh? Thanks for the kind words friend.
Yeah try being a tail of the Dragon local with more riding skills than 90% of the people here having a channel for six years and only having 300 subs I completely understand people just fucking suck these days makes me wanna fucking sell my bike and quit riding oops I did that last year
Thanks Kevin I went and took a look at the rear field that you sent me and I'm using voice text so that said rear field typical but yeah I mean he's only about 3 inches shorter than me and I have shorter legs for a tall guy have an inseam of 32 so that's perfect I'm going to go down and take a look at it I'm going to take the drive I really appreciate it but I really do the answer back
I'm strongly considering buying a Demo version of this bike. I have a CBR600F and feel i want a more upright seating posisjon. And why not 250cc's extra while i'm at it. I don't ride much at highway speeds so i expect the GSX-S750 to be better in basically every way. (Except top speed.)
@duda Just wanted to say that your responses in the comments section and your willingness to help your viewers has made it easy for me to press that subscribe button. Keep up the good work!
Kostas Sanidas Thanks man that means s lot. I started making videos to help other people out and to take the burden of some decision-making in both the bike world and life off of people's shoulders. Its my pleasure! More videos in the coming weeks.
Duda awesome! And yes, you are helping me out with my decision because I'm torn between several bikes and what I can afford and this seems like a great bang for your buck bike!
Nice review, I want the same motorcycle!! I have the same height problem as you, you can use one leg down method??!! If you put your bike back to its regular height, and use one leg down, you can ride any bike after that!!
I have a 2011 GSX 650 F; inline 4, around 85 horsepower and a weight of 550 pounds. So relatively hefty for a sport bike. I'm considering this bike but I'm not sure where I'd feel enough of a difference to warrant the price of upgrading.
I made the mistake of not showing the full performance of the GSXS in my vid, but it is an incredible capable bike (the speed run towards the end was on steep mountain). The S750 weighs 470lb and handles like butter in the corners, 0-62 mph in 2.9s +/- 0.2, 114 hp, 81 N-m. Stats aside, its a solid upgrade imo. The S1000 is also really good, but its heavier and the performance isn't as usable on the streets. I think you'd love the bike and the price is very reasonable, especially in it's class.
Question. Does the Gsx-s have engine vibration as the revs climbed? I have a new 2023 and the higher the revs the more vibration that comes through the bars, the seat, the foot pegs and the gas tank. Is this normal? My mirrors are blurry at any rpm above about 4-5k too.
How seasoned of a rider are you? If you're new-ish to the sport, albeit your second bike, I'd definitely consider lowering links as it gives you a wide range of lowering options, from 1"-4" lower than stock height adjustability. If it's your first bike, I'd maybe consider something else! Let me know @fanatical16
Def not a starter. I didn’t start on a 250cc either though. I’m 6’3, 220lbs and a 250 would not be good for someone my size. I started on a SV-650 and step up from that is the GSX-S750
@@NADO4EVER how do you find the gsxs 750 being 6'3"? Im just over 6' and wide in shoulders im not sure if i wont be too crampt on it. Due to test ride it soon
I bought this as my first bike and absolutely love it. You'll get used to the powder. During my training I bough an Ktm duke 390. It's a fun bike but not as stable and lack of power when riding highway
@@ragimundvonwallat8961 Well if the extra wroom of a gxs-r is not your thing, then you could just change the fairings yourself. Sort of a next stage of bike ownership is to customize it to your own liking
Very informative video Kevin! I was wondering if you can describe the button layout on the dash and it's functions. I'm considering getting this bike and was curious about the dash. Thanks.
Thanks! So the button layout is pretty simple; there are two buttons that are used to adjust everything. You can toggle through fuel and trip meter info using the left button by default. You can adjust the screen brightness, clock, and tachometer style. That's pretty much it in terms of dash custom-ability. For me, its exactly what I want and need.
In the next year or two I'm looking to get a dual sport as a second bike, and at 5'10" I've looked into lowering a bike. I think I'd try to persevere stock settings prior to making alterations.
It's really a judgment call. I know personally I couldn't own one because of the seat height issue. If you plan on going off-road with it, lowering would definitely be frowned upon. For street bikes, as long as the front and rear are equally lowered and you don't plan on going over a 45 'ish' degree lean angle, you aren't negative affecting the ride in reality. Again, that's the rider's decision!
I think it would definitely have some beneficial properties, but it make take away from the aesthetics. There are some on the market but they look a bit odd haha! I may consider one in the future however!
Greetings from Sweden! Im looking into getting my mc license. Thinking about the GSR750 or the kawa z750 for my first bike. Would you say the older GSR (2013ish) would suit a new rider? Guess with lesser power and acc it'll be more gentle? Ive some experience and a mature mind. Really like the vlogs! Keep it up!
As long as you have some experience and a safe but playful throttle control, I'd definitely recommend a gsr750. The main difference between the gsx-s750 and the the gsr is power, technology, and gearing, and used vs dealership market. DM me with your budget, I'll help you out.
Great video. PS...how did you manage to ride in the rain without crashing!!?!? I’ve watched so many crash videos that I now believe motorcycles cannot be ridden upright....period 😜
You cant be afraid, try not to lean too much and trust physics. If you chop throttle in turns and/or grab a hand full on brakes it may get interesting.
Hey Duda, do you find this bike uncomfortable at all? I ride a DRZ right now and especially on the highway it SUCKS. My ass, hands and feet are numb are after like an hour. Very seriously looking at the S750.
Thanks for the excellent video! I've looked at and sat on a lot of bikes in the last few weeks. I have narrowed it down to 3, The Suzuki gsx-s750 , Yamaha FZ09 and Kawasaki z900. This is very tough decision, I feel more comfortable on the Yamaha. I love the looks of the Suzuk an kawasaki. Power and performance will satisfy me on all 3 bikes. Price is not an issue. Bike shops in my area have all of these new for under $7k. Are there any big negative issues on any of these?
No it keeps pretty cool in the summer. The new radiator has a much greater surface area then the previous gen, and larger than most bike rads. Unless you're sitting in traffic for a long time and it's over 90°, you won't notice the heat. Even then, it's not a problem.
Thanks dude! I can't speak for all slip -on systems, but the Yoshimura Alpha-T doesn't need to be tuned according to the company. That's something you'd want to ask the manufacturer; most will be able to give you an answer. Hope that helps!
I wonder if the jerky throttle is because all the injectors shut off at closed throttle for EPA reasons. I wonder if the ecu was flashed to keep the injectors on while the throttle is closed it would solve the issue. I have a 2011 gsxr750 and do not know if the throttle compares to this bike, if so I don't think it's as bad as people say. I'm looking to sell my gsxr750 for something like this. I just need a buyer. Lol..
You could be on to something. I'm actually working at a motorcycle dealership and I'm gonna talk to some of the techs about it! I'm thinking a Dynojet Power Commander could fix it. But the gsxs750 is a great bike to move into coming from a gixxer. You might want to consider the s1000, though the inability to use most of the bike unlike the s750 could be a downside. Keep me posted and ask more questions if you have any!
hey I’m trying to decide if I should get the version you have or if I should get the 2018 GSX- S1000z. I’m not sure. Hey Duda awesome review. I’m thinking about getting this bike or 2016 Suzuki Boulevard M109R my weight is 293ish lbs and 5 10 tall. Do you think that this bike will fit me perfectly comparing it to the boulevard? Does weight make a difference to handling and etc? Would appreciate any help from you or any pro riders all over the world. Thanks
Thanks for kind words man. I have to say that it's pretty difficult to compare the two bikes. What are you looking for in your next ride? Agility, comfort, rideability, or performance? Both have all, but to different degrees. Plus the M109R is a cruiser and the S750 is a naked supersport. Both will fit you for sure.
Duda you are welcome, basically I tested drive the boulevard, it’s fast but heavy and I was thinking about the S750 but some people told that my weight will make it harder for me to take corners or to lean the bike, is that true? I’m afraid to buy the new S750 then I wont be able to take turns at high speed because of my weight.
Thinking about changing bike next season, it’s between a Yamaha MT09(2014-16) or a Suzuki GSX-S 750. What do you guys recomend? I am riding a Suzuki GSR600 from 2007 now as My first bike.
I'm actually not sure; I have yet to ride with a passenger actually! The padding is somewhat substantial on the rear, but I would need to have a passenger and ask them what they think to give you a proper answer. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
Picking up my 19 FZXS 750 tomorrow and I still have a 17 S40 in my shed. What are the chances? I could not take the stupid grin off my face after my test ride of the 750.
One in a million! That's sick man, the gixxis is an awesome stepping stone from the S40; glad you get to appreciate it like I did! Hope you get great smiles per mile with it, ride safe🚀
Hey bro, nice video, I'm curious but what is your cost to insure your bike? I hope to one day upgrade to a bigger bike. Insurance cost is one factor that I would have to consider since I have a family to maintain. Also would this bike be great for long rides, like for example 200-300 mile rides? I currently ride a small HD street 500 its not bad around the streets and can get me to work and back fine but man does it kill me when I take it out on long rides its just too uncomfortable.
So insurance is pretty reasonable. Most insurance companies will classify this as sport touring, so I would compare it to a Yamaha FZ8 / FZ6R or an FZ07. The smaller displacement helps out because where I live, they don't account for the number of cylinders when calculating total insurance charges (4 cyl = fast in reality, but they don't care about that!) Mine was a little bit pricier due to a motorcycle accident two years ago and because I'm in my twenties. As for long trips, it's pretty comfy for medium distance trips. I made a 500 mile one day rally trip this past summer and I only started to get soreness after about 400 mi. This is pretty much the case for all bikes though, however the last leg of the trip of pretty painful. It's definitely a harder seat compared to cruisers/ touring cruisers, but considering most naked/sport bikes, it's by far one of the most comfortable.
How are the handlebar vibrations? I'm sick and tired of the vibes on my '05 FZ6 and I'm thinking of upgrading to this...but if there are bad vibrations I'm gonna go nuts. My bike is particularly bad at around 5-7k rpms. Thoughts?
It depends on what you mean by 'better'. In terms of power and straight line performance, the Suzuki beats the Triumph (excluding the RS model). Both bikes are extremely flick-able and handle like a dream. Both have adjustable rebound and spring pre-load. I'd say that the 765's digital dashboard is far superior when looking at the photographs, but it may look bad in direct sunlight since its a TFT color display; Suzuki's backlit display is monochrome but detailed enough to be used in direct sunlight and features a bright back light for night rides. Both have very good traction control systems. Personally, I like the look of my bike better than the Street Triple 765, but both of them are the best looking in the naked bike segment imo. The Suzuki is much cheaper off the showroom and will remain the cheaper option in the long run as triumph's are notoriously more expensive to maintain with respect to their competitor.
Hey Kevin Pietro here got a question for you because I have to travel pretty far to actually test right one of these I am in the 190 cm about six foot three or so I was just wondering if you could answer if you think this would be comfortable for me and if you don't have the answer that's perfectly fine I just appreciate the video in itself thanks a lot bud
Thanks for the question. It's a bit hard to say since I'm 9 in shorter than you. @Rarefied Road made a review of the bike who is around 6 foot and he said he felt pretty comfortable. I think with the 820mm seat height and wide tank, you should be alright. But you should sit on it if possible! Hope that helps a little.
I’ve bought Suzuki gas s 750 six months I had mu bike my headlight lens started to crack up and Suzuki London wouldn’t replace my head light under warranty ,I am so disappointed, how can a plastics headlight lens crack by a stone ,that was the answer I got from cluster error service Suzuki u k
I literally have a GSX-S750 and a Street Triple 765 RS on my bookmarks, hoping one day...you know... 😅 obviously 2nd hand tho... the triumph is listed for 8450€ while the suzuki is listed at 7600€, both 2017 models, same mileage, but its a fkn street triple RS! brembo brakes, ohlins suspension, quickshifter, all top spec stuff! so I believe those 800€ more are justified 🤤 a man can dream! 👍 edit 1: yes, bikes are expensive around here...those values are probably what most of you in the US are paying for them brand new lol (maybe a bit more but you get the point 😅)
so go spent 8 k on a new fz07 and and i wont feel bad when i drop it ,,gee that makes sense hahaha so i own that bike ,fz07,,fun bike for sure but im looking for more ,one of the biggest complaint for me is the suspension , doesn't inspire confidence ,,are you able to make a suspension comparison between the two ? thanks
Thank you for the correction. I meant to say they reduced the final drive ratio. In essence it does accelerate quicker while maintaining the same top speed due to increase power output.
I really want to travel through the mountains and make day maybe 2 day trips/ drives with this
@@andrewjohnson1253 i would strongly recommend the 750 instead, what did you end up getting though?
I ride Suzukis, love the 750 inline 4 engine, I bought the 2015 GSX-S750ZA and it"s awesome. Smooth, comfortable, bulletproof, cornering is insane.
IMO Suzuki makes perfect bikes.
They're solid bikes and very reliable, but after owning four in the last 11 years I changed to Yamaha and I don't see any reason why I'd sell my MT-09 SP, to be honest.
@@pedronogueira8148 I'm looking to sell my mt09 , I'm hating the seating position with a passion , way to goddamn upright.
2clinks, did you ride honda cb 650 f. If yes, can you compare it please depending on your feeling? xD
Dude.... get up and running again. I wanna see new vids from you :)
What brand of seat and was it more comfortable
Many comments from people having 2015 or older GSX-S which is another bike. The new GSX-S was new for 2017. The 2015 or older GSX-S 750 is the same as the GSR 750 in other countries. Same engine with less refinement and HP. The new which came in 2017 is another level bike.
This is an awesome review of the GSX-S 750. I moved from the MT-09 to it for similar reasons.
best review
Bought mine 2 months ago, love it
Just got the same bike brand new off the lot last week and I’m loving it coming from a sport bike this bike suits my riding style much better
This an excellent bike it handles is smooth, responsive comfortable, lightish, great finish and is Hella fun to ride.
My first bike was a ninja 500R/ex500. Sometimes I miss it...but then I mount my gsxs and I forget all that sentimental shit
The Real A A Ron McStonerson Man I know that feeling all too well. Enjoy it and safe riding!
Been using the 2017 model bike for commuting and weekend fun. The power is perfect for public roads and sounds amazing with an after market exhaust. Small niggles are the bike does sometimes feel buzzy in the handlebars and the seat is quite hard. Overall though a great bike from Suzuki.
Nice review, you covered all my questions! I’m picking up a 2020 this week! Thanks
I bought one too... great bike, awsome value!
Thanks for the kind words friend! Outro song: Wild Thoughts (Medasin Remix) - DJ Khaled
That’s a pretty bike, damn 😍
That exhaust sounds nice! I have the 2015 GSX-S750Z and love the thing. It'll to 161mph :).... keep it for the track bro!
Buddy cheers for making this video was comparing between this and a benelli tnt 600i as everyday commuter and since this just launched in india just booked the bike after seeing your video , thanks a ton and safe riding
Aditya Kolasani, me too 👍 loved Kevin's review. And actually ended up enquiring at Dream Suzuki, Juhu, Mumbai, which is ₹9.25L
Absolutely gorgeous & Perfectly balanced machine, not just it's sound, but everything about it as a package. Enough to provide thrill on weekend getaway or daily ride.
Prashant More I got it for only 8.35L onroad in Hyderabad, with RTO tax @14% ex showroom 7.56L wonder how urs came to 9L
Aditya Kolasani, happy for you man 👍 I had just enquired b'coz I loved it way too much. Cost I'm assuming the highest in Mumbai than any part of the country.. But dealer guy was about to tell the final price.
***CORRECTIONS
-The front sprocket rather than the rear was adjusted, adding more teeth to increase acceleration.
-The forks were already upside-down but are new KYB shock absorbers, which are of higher quality and offer a wider range of comfortable rebound!
-The rear brake has only one piston. My apologies regarding the misinformation. Thanks for watching!
Adding teeth to the front sprocket will gear the bike higher and slow acceleration.
Subtracting teeth from the rear sprocket will gear the bike higher
Keith Borjes what’s your elevation? That plays a role in how much power you can make
Thank you for your great review, best I've seen, I got a Hayabusa and it has that same jerky throttle, I'm digging these naked bikes, thanks again!
Did you get the small one? I'm thinking of getting it for mine
Duda It’s the smallish one. Really recommend it. Also makes the bike look better as well.
Wonderful in depth review, keep up the good work!👍
Thank you I really appreciate that!
i truly hope szuzki would put out gsr 600 for sale again
what a sexy swing arm and exhaust
Great review. Im looking to step up from my 600 bandit so found this very helpful..
Nice tour of Greensburg!
I own this. Not sure.
Good job buddy. You have a ways to go just like a lot of us. But you’ll get there.
Its the last 750, and a born classic :-)
Really cool intro man! good review!
This is the last "sevenfifty" produced by any japanese company! I got the last year produced (2021) and i got it in the good color (like video). This bike is gold, and it is going to appreciate in value going forward... I would lecture you ,on the UJM but suffice to say, this is the last 750 (see CB 750 from 1969) ;-)

Dude great review super concise and detailed I really appreciated it. I’m really considering getting one of these.!
Correction, they adjusted the teeth on the rear sprocket from 42 to 43, that's how you get more acceleration, not the other way around.
I was thinking the same when he said that
Thanks, I realized that mistake after uploading; corrections in the video description!
MrCityJerry power was increased so top speed is essentially the same as first gen. Front sprocket teeth number was decreased.
Valuable info for someone shopping for a bike 👍🏻
ECU flash... = SOLVED
Yup. I actually bought one today and couldn't take it home due to this recall. Bummer
Good review! I have a Bandit 12 and a GSXR 750 and love them both.
Suzuki knocked it out of the park with that motor as it will do everything well. I'm thinking of adding
this bike to the garage. Nice roads in your part of PA ( Berks or Lancaster county?) I thought you might be in Southeastern PA but I didn't see a Wawa every other mile off the road! Enjoy your bike and thanks for sharing! EW

Excellent review
I'm interested in the bike, I am leaning toward the sv650, noticed that you are riding in my neighborhood. Keep the shiny side up!
A sv650 is also a nice bike but it’s to small in the front of the tank .
The gsx s750 is more beaffy and bigger
bought mine GSX-S 750 Z one week ago
now I have to wait about 6monts before I can ride it
f*ck autm and winter :D
cant wait for spring/summer
this video saved my life
I think as another competitor I would add the cb650f
True! It's a little lower in terms of power but definitely a competitor. I would put it against the fz-07, sv650, ninja 650, and fz6r for all intents and purposes as I consider that a possible first bike for new riders and I think it dominates that bike category
@Guto lol true
I was watching this video and I noticed that you are riding in laurelville pa. I live in tarrs pa outside of my pleasant and have a 2020 gsxs750.
Great sound!
Great honest review, i share your opinion of the FZ09. I need to try the new T.S.T and compare. Thanks

Good review !!
Hi I’m female 5’3 I’m thinking of getting one of this . do you think I could drive this?
How seasoned of a rider are you? If you're new-ish to the sport, albeit your second bike, I'd definitely consider lowering links as it gives you a wide range of lowering options, from 1"-4" lower than stock height adjustability. If it's your first bike, I'd maybe consider something else! Let me know @fanatical16
HI Duda! I know this was 2 years ago, but would you recommend this bike for a beginner? Thank you.
I would not recommend anything more than a 250cc for a beginner, you are not allowed to make mistakes here or a painful crash will occur
Does this 2018 have the quick shifter or only the later model?
i would really like they make the same bike but with a full fairing....it would be an awsome gt bike
They do, its called gxs-r
@@MegaBlindy its a supersport...i was thinking of this setup with a fairing for the confort to make a gt
Again, that's the rider's decision!
good video. thank you for the info.
I have a GSX-S750 2018, but mine came with ABS standard, since I guess I live in Canada ? I can't find much info about it anywhere online, sadly.
The exhaust of gsx s1000 can fit to gsx s750.?
Thanks for the informative review. Do you think it would benefit from an aftermarket visor?
SV650 is a better beginning friendly motorcycle
whats the actual song name? I know it's white iverson by post malone but it sounds a little different....is it a remix or something?
Great video. PS...how did you manage to ride in the rain without crashing!!?!? I’ve watched so many crash videos that I now believe motorcycles cannot be ridden upright....period 😜
You cant be afraid, try not to lean too much and trust physics. If you chop throttle in turns and/or grab a hand full on brakes it may get interesting.
What are the engine cover protectors?
Those are T-Rex engine and crankcase covers! I also invested in SW-MOTECH framesliders as well. Better safe than sorry
Hey Duda, do you find this bike uncomfortable at all? I ride a DRZ right now and especially on the highway it SUCKS. My ass, hands and feet are numb are after like an hour. Very seriously looking at the S750.
why bike even newer model hasnt quick shifter,
Thanks for the excellent video!
7k driveout???
Does the gsxs 750 cook you in the summer time, my cbr600f4i theres off so much heat in traffic
No it keeps pretty cool in the summer. The new radiator has a much greater surface area then the previous gen, and larger than most bike rads. Unless you're sitting in traffic for a long time and it's over 90°, you won't notice the heat. Even then, it's not a problem.
Good vlog if you put a slip on pipe do you need to get it tuned? Thanks
What was the "old" streetfighter standard?
Does it feel like it pulls harder than the mt07? Thanks
I took lessons on an sv650 and the gsxs750 definitely pulls way harder then the sv.
The sv has similar hp as the mt
hey I’m trying to decide if I should get the version you have or if I should get the 2018 GSX- S1000z. I’m not sure. I’ve never owned a motorcycle but I grew up operating farm equipment/ Atvs and snowboarding so I have a good sense of balance and power control. I’m 24 yo 6ft and 2inches tall at 170 lbs . I am just trying to get an honest opinion before I go buying one. I really want to travel through the mountains and make day maybe 2 day trips/ drives with this
What did you get?
Great around town bike, day trips though I’d favour the 650 V-Storm for a more comfortable seat, wind protection. I’d have to ride both before buying.
How high can it rev
Great review. Intro song name please....
White Iverson (Y2K Remix) - Post Malone ----- Thanks man!
Thinking about changing bike next season, it’s between a Yamaha MT09(2014-16) or a Suzuki GSX-S 750. What do you guys recomend? I am riding a Suzuki GSR600 from 2007 now as My first bike.
Kawasaki Z900
I love my GSX-S750. Power is stupid smooth, rides nice and it’s great in the twisties. I’d recommend it to anyone.
is it good for pillion riding. it two up comfortable???
I'm actually not sure; I have yet to ride with a passenger actually! The padding is somewhat substantial on the rear, but I would need to have a passenger and ask them what they think to give you a proper answer. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
Fuel gauge?
Is the bike low end heavy?
Kevin Duda that's good to know, thanks for the info.
Should go well, it’s a former World Superbike engine!
How are the handlebar vibrations? I'm sick and tired of the vibes on my '05 FZ6 and I'm thinking of upgrading to this...but if there are bad vibrations I'm gonna go nuts. My bike is particularly bad at around 5-7k rpms. Thoughts?
No vibrations at all😎
Duda awesome thanks!!
How did you take the reflectors off the front fender?
Easy, they just screw off counterclockwise.
@@TheHDTheater Thanks man. Looks much better without.
Which is better this or the triumph street triple
😅 obviously 2nd hand tho...
the triumph is listed for 8450€ while the suzuki is listed at 7600€, both 2017 models, same mileage, but its a fkn street triple RS! brembo brakes, ohlins suspension, quickshifter, all top spec stuff! so I believe those 800€ more are justified 🤤
a man can dream! 👍
edit 1: yes, bikes are expensive around here...those values are probably what most of you in the US are paying for them brand new lol (maybe a bit more but you get the point 😅)
so go spent 8 k on a new fz07 and and i wont feel bad when i drop it ,,gee that makes sense hahaha
so i own that bike ,fz07,,fun bike for sure but im looking for more ,one of the biggest complaint for me is the suspension , doesn't inspire confidence ,,are you able to make a suspension comparison between the two ?
thanks
I sold my fz07 because of that stupid supersport seat .
Reducing the amount of teeth on the rear sprocket reduces acelaration, not increases.
Thank you for the correction. I meant to say they reduced the final drive ratio. In essence it does accelerate quicker while maintaining the same top speed due to increase power output.
Yes though he got the stuff right, but the correction is, Suzuki increased the rear sprocket by one tooth to increase lower end acceleration. Cheers!
