Awesome video! If that was any other bike, it've been gone in a month or two. Hey, guess that means deals for me lmao ;)

Yeah I guess the rice rockets have the looks and kerb appeal over there but if you’re in to straight line performance, it could be geared to be good in a straight line if that’s your thing, it’s not a slow bike though ( check out my silverstone track video). It’s a great bike and quite underrated! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Nice vid. I like the GSXS 750 a lot & what you've done to yours too. I'm also really keen to see the new one when it's supposedly revealed later this year. Typical Suzuki it will almost certainly be tweaked, refined & polished etc as opposed to anything radical & I'm fine with that if the spec & price is right. I'm looking more & more at middleweights now as opposed to the 1000's as while a middleweight isn't as sexy, they make so much more sense in nearly every way & you can use so much more of them on the road which is much more rewarding & fun.
@@aidenlothian9642 Supposedly there is but don't have any inside knowledge. Just the usual internet gossip I've seen. The 950 is only really designed for A2 & is significantly less powerful than the 750 so it would get absolutely stuffed by the other middleweights. I'd be very surprised if that was Suzuki's offering in the current most popular market sector as it just wouldn't cut it. Regardless of engine size etc, to be a contender it needs at least 120bhp & be as close to 200kg as poss ideally. However knowing Suzuki it will probably be 115bhp & 215kg which I could live with tbh if it's good value. Another clue there's one coming is Suzuki's finance deals. They've specifically targeted the GSXR1000, Katana & GSX750 to presumably shift old Euro 4 stock in time for the mitigation deadline & to make way for new Euro 5 versions, except the Katana which will supposedly be discontinued..... apparently.
Thanks! Hmm id love to see a new one but I'm not convinced, thought the new 950 was filling that gap although it's 19bhp less than the 750 And the same weight! But I hope you're right! Thanks for watching 😁
@@twistandgo3414 The GSX-950 does also carrys 3 more litres of fuel at 19 litres. I reckon the 750 is gone. I think the extra hp from the 750 will be nullified by the displacement advantage of the 950. To have both bikes competing against each other at the same time doesn't sound right. All depends on what the price will be. I reckon its to compete with the z900 and mt09 at a cheaper price.
@@aidenlothian9642 Quite possibly, you could well be right although it would be a mistake imo as it really doesn't compete with the Z900 or MT-09 at all. Unless you're on an A2 licence why would you buy one over the MT-09, Z900 or the GSXS1000 which isn't far off what is now considered middleweight power. It's not even that much cheaper.
I had the GSR750 before the GSXS 1000SFA touring edition. Loved the looks but so underpowered. Had a Yoshi can on looked the business. Took a GSXSR750 at my dealership. Jumped on mine after and felt cheap bike. Did a few videos and sounded just like yours. Another great review though!
Thanks! Yeah, the gsxs is a step up from the GSR but the GSXR 750 is next level again. I had my K8 GSXR 750 for 5 years from new, was a track bike mostly, never missed a beat. Would have had a new one if you could still get them in the UK. Nearly bought a black and yellow 2018 model, but went with the Gsxs1000F instead.. 🤦♂️.. Prob should have done as would likely still have it, having now gone full circle again! 😂🙄🤦♂️
Nice review, thanks. I like this bike. Have test ridden one. Smooth and quick when you ask it. Definitely on my list and like your upgrades. MT 09s are cheap where I live so a tricky choice.
Thanks for watching. MT09 is also Good bike and of course had QS as standard, but if say the fueling is better on the Suzuki out of the crate. Yamaha's a bit lighter and more wheelie prone, so if that's your bag... That's the one.. Having ridden one, this is so planted though and confidence in the front end for days. Can't go wrong with either! Personal choice.
Thanks Twistandgo. Been struggling to ride the MT with global logistics challenges, weather and now I’m locked down again. Looking at your country rides with envy!
I try to see the "weak" points as strong points on this one. Steel, not Alu. Sure, weigh more, but stronger. Easier to fix, or weld, if needed. And i bet it would be able to carry a snail in that belly pan (!) - to even out the wight to hp ratio :) And, cheaper. But also makes so much sense. Look up: EMC shock and fork package for them also.
I love putting traction control on full and accelerating and listening to it trying to get grip. I'm down in cupar this weekend for my new speedo ring and sensor. I have the new gsx s 1000 booked for test drive.
@@twistandgo3414 what a bike I gave it death 🤣🤣 dealer put full traction on and full rider mode turned all that off as soon as I left the bike has a lot of get up and go. Lovely looking bike. The dealers are still sell these in New Zealand for 20% less than GSX 8S. Even with the exhaust, frame sliders, radiator guard and screen it is cheaper. Have you ridden the 8S?
No I haven't yet actually, but it's supposed to be very good! Touch lighter than the 750 at 202kg vs 215kg, but it's well over 20 bhp down on the 750 too...be interesting to see what's like, they quote 82bhp and the 750 is 115bhp at the crank, so would think it's noticeably slower too. Interesting comparison though given it has 2 cylinders less.
Hi mate. Great video bike sounds awesome and looks fantastic I picked my suzuki gsx-s750 2021 a week on Saturday buzzing can't wait my first naked bike after being on sport bikes for 20 years so looking forward to having a comfy ride out. Nice video, great to have you back. I don’t know if you shared your preload settings, but what did you use as the front and back settings? I am also waiting for the gsx s1000 touring version.
Thanks for the support 😁👍 - Preload on the front is 1 ring from maximum and the rear is one lug from maxed out. Shame that's all there is as with decent suspension it would be a little weapon. Twistandgo: what headlight LED did you get ? We tried some early on, but thew had bad light distribution. (So we put a stronger regular in, plastic headlight cracked...)

Awesome review & sick mods. Bike looks & sounds great. I'm about to pick up a 2020 GSX-S750Z as my first bike, any preliminary mods you recommend once I pick it up? Also open to any other general recommendations. & if possible can you throw in some links or list the mods? As I'm fairly new, it was kind of hard to keep track of everything lol.
Ah thanks man. In honesty, if you're new to biking, just get out there and ride it. A lot of it is cosmetic and personal touches and choices. Bit more noise is always good so just throw on an end can and ride it. Any tuition is money well spent or get yourself booked in to a race school / tuition track day or Advanced road riding course, very useful. Other than that, that's about it really, bike doesn't NEED anything really... Although an end can and braided brake lines are always my first mods. Doesn't have to be tuned with an end can on it so rush to do that. Heated grips always good in the colder weather especially riding in the UK! - Thanks for watching, glad it was useful and enjoy the new steed! Take it easy 😁👍
Just picked up the bike a few weeks ago & already love it. Haven't been able to take it out much because it's winter here in the NE USA. Classes open up in March I believe so I'll be doing that then. In terms of the end can, do you recommend the yoshimura R11 or the AT2? Also, there aren't a lot of aftermarket parts here & I'm possibly looking to change some of the fairings. Any ideas? Thanks again man, can't wait to put a ton of miles on in 22.
@@jeffreybarbour8163 Excellent! 😁 Hope you get some decent weather, it's been rubbish here in the uk, especially here in Scotland! R11 or Alpha Titanium you can't go wrong with either.. I'd prob go Alpha T if I was buying again but only as I've had the R11 already, although the Alpha T does seem to rasp a bit more which I personally like. The is of course Arrow and lextek too, depends on the look you want and budget I suppose. Hope that helps. 😁👌👍
I feel the same way about the engine..why detune it...it would have sold more .I have a 2020 some mod.146 mph....top end 4200 miles and counting.I love it.
Suzuki say that the de tune gives it more torque, IE power off the line at the cost of top speed and high end power. I agree. I’ve had 130hp bikes with less torque. I prefer more torque. You use that more often, ie at the lights etc.
Really depends how you ride it in honesty, but I have seen 180 miles on a tank when touring (289km) and will do 40mpg = 5.88 litres/100km and 45mpg / 5.23 litres/100km.
@@twistandgo3414 nice! I’ll have to research to see whether or not there’s a difference in years between 23 and 19 as that’s the last year there website mentions fitment for
Hi mate, sorry if I missed it (if it was in the other videos of yours) I am plannig a tune-up of my 750. I was seriously considerning a black widow headres (decat) however I am worried it will be too loud. I have same slip-on R11sq. I use my 750 comuting to work everyday. Someone said that catalyzer on 750 is not so restrictive like on 1000 and decating does not give hudge increase of power and that it wil be poping and screaming. Guy who will be tuning my bike suggested DynoJetV and removal of EVAP plus new Air filter. Please advise. I am worried that at some point I will face the same problem this bike is not powerful enough.. and will swap it over to 1000cc. Looking forward for youe advice. Greetings from Poland.
Yeah, the Standard CAT on these isn't as restrictive as it is on the 1000... The standard headers are also really quite light, I was surprised when I took them off. Sound wise, the tone was slightly deeper after decat but not massively so. Would say it gave a bit more of a rasp with the standard headers whereas after decat, sounds like a bigger bike. Id say there's probably only 2-3 bhp to be had with removing the Standard headers. By comparison, i had the bike dyno'd before and after decat and there was a 2bhp loss (before tune) by removing the standard headers and having the decat headers on with the R11.. So clearly, they're not as bad as you'd think. Additionally, mine has PC5 fitted and the guy that tuned mine pretty much tuned out the pops and bangs without any other changes to the air box. I installed a piper cross air filter only, no other internal box mods or plate Delete etc. If I did it again, I prob wouldn't bother with the decat in honesty and would maybe consider an ecu flash instead but I didn't go that route as you're changing the standard parameters and it voids the warranty. After that, yes, an ecu flash if I kept the bike, would have been a good comparison to see how much of a difference that actually makes Vs a PC5.. Suspect only 2-3 bhp... If course, if you seek the bike, you can remove a PC5 and some money back, you can't do that with an ecu tune - hope that helps...
Many thanks! Well, I will not bother with decat and go with PC5 + new filter for now. 750 is a great bike, especially on the small tracks or just when having fun on twisties in the area. It is light and drives (handles) much better then gsxs1000 in my opinion. I was considering getting new 1000 when they revealed it but when checked on all “upgrades” I realised it is still the same GSXS1000. Like said in your other video, 20-30hp more would make 750 a perfect bike. Greetings.
@@MSztuk sounds great.. Yeah, the 750 feels like a compact naked sports bike and a bit naughty compared to the new Gsxs1000.. Which is a little bigger and feels a bit more grown up to ride by comparison... Still a great bike though, but if anything it feels a little softer which is more to do with the suspension really. Can't really go wrong with either. The new 1000 feels more playful than the older one too.
Hi thanks for watching and for the comments, much appreciated - Yeah, being taller at 6ft 4, it did for me, especially on a longer run or sustained cruising speeds at 70mph+. Was actually the reason for buying it in the first place. Had a cheap one on previously (see separate video on the channel) but this fits better and is a better design.
I don't get that small and slow stuff for a 750 that stock has well over 100bhp. It's just bragging nonsense. Seems like a sensible bike to me. I'd probably pay £1k more and get the MT09 - but it won't be that much faster. Just more modern and much lighter, by the sounds of it. Safe riding.
Yeah, 114bhp at the crank, more like 123bhp after the mods and tuning.. Its plenty quick enough for the road though. Like you say, MT09 has a bit more power, fueling isn't as good, handling not as stable, it's certainly lighter on the front end than the 750...but still a great bike. There's a fine line between performance and value for money, just which way you want to draw it vs any customisation you want to do (or not).. Its splitting hairs, not such a thing as a "bad" bike now really.. Pays your money, takes your choice. Thanks for watching! 👌👍😎
The CP3 engine is fun. A bit inbetween. Torque, but also revs. A bit prone to get on the rear wheel, like the MT10 - whilst it seems to have been engineered away on purpose on most Suzukis. Fun for different things. The first 09's were garbage, i think. But they have surely evolved.
Good review, do you know any cheaper inline four? To your negative list, I would add the lower handlebar bar, it is too low, I am 5.11 , too much pressure on palm of my hands, you are just leaning on the handlebar, added 1.5’’ risers ( much better now) , no windshield , exhausting on faster roads with lots of wind on chest , added Puig touring windshield plus clip on, the seat is bad too . When I bought the bike ( my first)I found it too heavy, but now it feels okay , the weight is a plus on Highways. In stock , I can only ride for 30 minutes, now with all touring mods, 2 hours is okay. Had mine for 5 months, 9000 km on it. It is a bargain.
Yeah, I've found the seat is better now than it was when I bought the bike. Aftermarket seat or Air hawk / Tour tech seat would also do the job although 500 miles in a stint I've done without too much issue. Understand what you mean re the bars, if a little shorter can see they might be a bit low. No issues myself, find the bike really quite comfy. As for something cheaper, I think you would be struggling if we are talking newer... Cb650F maybe, or go older, Kawasaki ZR7, gsr 750...the screen certainly makes a difference for me on longer high speed runs and yes depending on inclement weather, sustained cruising in high winds can be tiring, but it's a naked bike so that's the choice you make when buy one I guess. By comparison, the new gsxs 1000 is more comfortable and feels less compact than the 750 does, which also feels like an angry teenager / unfaired sportsbike compared to the 1000. - Thanks for watching.
@@twistandgo3414 thanks for reply, you are right , I think this is the cheapest inline four, Honda Cb650 is almost same price but smaller engine, this bike is a very good deal,. The bigger naked bikes are overkill for street, they make good sport touring by adding a few mods, this is what I have done to 750, I have the Air Hawk seat too, add another 90 min riding time. I have a few videos up on the touring mods added , if interested take a look. The new GSX s1000 , I probably go for that in year or two(my bike is only 5 months old) , then make it sport touring.
@@HS99876 have you had any issues with your throttle cable length when using handlebar risers? I also had 1.5” risers on my 2020 gsxs750 and noticed the throttle tightening up when making sharp turns. It seems like the throttle cable is too short when using risers that tall, and I haven’t found an adjustment that can be made yet.
@@benjaminknox6796 Hey, yes , you have to re route the throttle cable from under to top of the frame, under the gas tank, there is small gap that cable can go through easily, some other older bikes, pass the cable from under the gas tank. check my video, I have pointed to the cable, you will see where it is going through. When re routed, you have to turn the handlebar all the way both side to test the throttle , it has to work freely. Also you have to move the mirror( break fluid container) more towards the center to reduce the pressure on the break fluid cable when turning the handlebar, again I have pointed to it on my video. The break fluid cable has to be lose when turning the handlebar all the way both way, I think if left where it is , it can great a big problem, you can cut the line when turning the handlebar all the way.

Hello my friend i am looking for New bike after 14 y on my Yamaha XV 500 cruiser . My choice is Mt 07 ,GSR 750 or this newer GSX-S 750. What is his average fuel consumption? Thnx
Hi, it will easily do 40+ mpg when ridden relatively sensibly. 180 miles on a tank touring before reserve . 150 on a tank easily achievable. Suzuki official figures are 57.65mpg although i would take that lightly personally. Once you start riding it, it's hard not to rev it and have fun! but it's quite economical if you ride it that way.

Does your bike shake on the first or second gear when just rolling without any acceleration? Only asking because that's what mine does and I don't know what to think about it...
Do you mean on the over run with the throttle closed or a steady throttle? But no.. No shaking at all. Could be chain tension...maybe? Just initial thought...
Mine is like this, first and second gear when rolling off the throttle, I think it is engine breaking, it is bad, I always use the clutch to smooth it out.
Now that's a good question! I have ridden a Z900, it's got a bit more power would say the handling is a bit better with the 750... It pains me to say but if you went for a Z900SE with the ohlins, then yes it prob is, although not ridden that specific model. You could go cheaper and upgrade the 750 en route but vs better suspension out of the crate I guess the 750 is still slightly shy in power, Although it's not slow and you can ring the back side out of it! Test ride both and see what you prefer would be my suggestion, based on looks, handling, performance, brakes, value for money and your own finances etc. Its Personal choice, but the SE model would be better.. The standard one...between the two? hmm tough call. Are you a suzuki or kawasaki person?.. Could be as simple a decision as that... Thanks for watching! 👍😎

Suzuki needs this engine in cafe style bike.
Agree! It's a great engine and bauxite bullet proof! Would look good lowered with a cut down / shorter back end and more aggressive headlights!
I try to see the "weak" points as strong points on this one.
Steel, not Alu.
Sure, weigh more, but stronger.
Easier to fix, or weld, if needed.
And i bet it would be able to carry a snail in that belly pan (!) - to even out the wight to hp ratio :)

Can't really go wrong with either. The new 1000 feels more playful than the older one too.
Great bike. Great video. Does the windscreen make a difference?
Hi thanks for watching and for the comments, much appreciated - Yeah, being taller at 6ft 4, it did for me, especially on a longer run or sustained cruising speeds at 70mph+. It does help a bit with my taller frame at 6ft 4, most noticeably at higher cruising speeds. Was glad I fitted it.

Do you think this is a better bike than z900?
Now that's a good question! I have ridden a Z900, it's got a bit more power would say the handling is a bit better with the 750... It pains me to say but if you went for a Z900SE with the ohlins, then yes it prob is, although not ridden that specific model.
