Watched this 2 years ago before getting my license and wanted it straight away. Passed, got a 125 to start and can happily say I brought the 2020 model yesterday as my first big bike on this recommendation 😊 stay safe, ride well 👍🏻
Your content is severely underrated, No nonsense, no un- necessary music and things like that. i will be strongly be considering this bike, the street triple RS, the MT09 next year as a upgrade, thank you for the insight!
May be returning to bikes after a 15 year or so absence and it's amazing how the scene has changed. Was all about the 600, 750 and 1000cc four cylinder supersports. Now it's seems to be a lot about naked bikes and twins. Parallel twins were only found in smaller commuter bikes but are much more prevalent today. For me you can't beat a 4 cylinder screaming at 10,000+ revs!
I have a GSX S750 which I traded my gorgeous 675R for, mainly for comfort reasons and I’ve not been disappointed. Endless fun on the road, so capable, usable and super mean looks, especially in the “Phantom’ black which mine is. I added the Yoshi can which sounds amazing and completes the looks. Did 2,400 miles in a week across Europe with the boys and it was a joy. Did everything really well, especially the alpine twisters! I stuck a screen on for the trip to help with the motorway sections. Great bike and a bloody bargain!
Sold my GSXR 600 2015 and bought this bike. Installed translogic quickshifter, dyno tuned with yoshi alpha t. It is such a fun bike to ride, now the mid range is much more powerfull and with TC switched off its a wheelie machine. Great on the road and track!
Just took ownership of one in the red. Probably watched this review over the last 6 months 200+ tines! Could probably say it back word for word! Thanks for your continued reviews and content, I now watch you more than I watch terrestrial TV!!! Loving the GSXS although still running it in till the first 600 miles then I can take it to traction control level 1 and have some real fun!
You should give it a try for me i used to have a bad throttle control , jerky and making me bouncing all over the bike jumping from10% to directly 50% , then i saw a video recommending different grips for throttle one of them was "ice cream cone " grip it made my throttle control much smoother and it is the same he is using in the video
Picked up my 2018 GSX-S750Z yesterday thanks to this review. Just a good overall review and what a great machine. "Thank you". Perfect for commuting and the weekend romp.
Nice review. These things are still around and great value (about stg 7,200 where I live) The character and soul comes form the induction roar when you wind it up.... I have test ridden one four times now. Was looking for a bigger bike, Z900 or MT09 but still like this little bike. SOOO easy to ride around a city! Bit old school in 2022 but .....

I am glad I checked this review. The Suzuki GSX 750 and SVX/V-Strom 650 are selling at really low prices right. They are the best deals on new bikes I know of.
I rode this last weekend. Really like it, despite the clutch being adjusted way too loose and me not having time to sort it. I absolutely loved the induction howl from the engine, was pleasantly surprised just how much torque they'd tuned into it, it's highly driveable.
Test rode this and the SV650 back to back. If you want a nimble, sporty naked with an ULTRA smooth inline four engine and PLENTY of go, the GSXS 750 is it - cracking bike. As admirable as the GSXS is, I preferred the SV, with its grunty twin cylinder engine - plus it's two grand cheaper.
monck55 hi, i am looking a bike and narrowing down to f07, sv650 and this gsxs 750. From your opinion, does the sv650 and this gsxs750 have the same power??? Thanks
I think the problem you have in finding anything really negative to say about the bikes you test is actually quite telling . Motorcycling journalists need to find slight differences in order to have something interesting to write about, and ranking competing bikes is of course a staple component of comparative tests. I've rode the SV650, CB650R and Ninja 650, I would have been happy to own any of those bikes, none of them had any issues that would have been a deal breaker for me. What you say is very true.
Howdy, just recently test rode the GSX-S750 A2 version and I was pleasantly surprised. Although it has pretty outdated looks when it comes to the lighting (no LEDS), the engine absolutely fascinated me. I think it was my 18th test ride in my search to find my perfect A2 bike :) Btw, PS stands for "Pferdestärke" and that translates to HP (horse power). It's German, and so am I :) As always, loved your review!!!!!
Theres a part of me that wishes the gsx s1000 looked a bit more like this. I just find it a really cool looking bike and i wish they made it in a 1000cc version
I noticed the traction control light come on a couple of times. Once for rear wheel slip after turning a corner and once for anti wheelie. Some complain about the electronic nannies but in each of those cases it may have saved your bacon. As usual, great review.
Best review of the Suzuki so far coming from an actual street triple rider, would be nice to se more comparative between the two of the bikes, maybe for a future video?
You are not the only one that admires their profile in store windows. I used to as well until I came within a few feet of rear ending a vehicle one day. Now, not so much.
imo this bike looks much better than the Z900. This bike looks sportier. The Z900 has such a big dip from the cowl to the seat. Just looks weird and silly to me
Thanks Andy will short list this as a replacement for my beloved 600 Bandit, It dosen't seem to have changed much since you tested it 3 and a half years ago, Great value.
I have its predecessor GSR750 its bigger brother GSXSs1000 love them both, treat rode this model & liked it too, maybe 1 day I will get 1, good fair review.
Really wanna love this bike, the cons: handle and pegs are too sporty, it's almost just a super sport without fairing but not a standard street bike. Lack of panniers connecting points. Dated Headlight and indicators.
Had the 750 a year, loved it. I pick up the 2021 GSXS 1000 on Friday in blue and silver. Hope you get chance to review it, id like to see that, if you can't get one you can have mine for a couple of hrs next year....in half decent weather of course.
Another great review. I'm in the wrong hemisphere, but when the weather clears I will test ride the Street Triple, 2021 MT09 and the GSX which is well priced over here
Hello TMF, I'm not a rider sadly (yet) but I am a subscriber and have watched a heap of your videos over the last few weeks, absolutely love them- the tours in particular. Your production and delivery of the info particularly from the perspective of someone who doesn't ride like me is spot on, and still immensely enjoyable- one of my favourite YT accounts to follow. Here's hoping I get to ride one day, it certainly would in no small measure be a tip of the hat to you! Safe riding sir.
I love that little cycling comparison, very true. I always liked motorcycles but always thought its bit too expensive so I substituted it with mountain biking. Not really huge fan of the pedal up part, but going down is what gives me. Unfortunately mountain biking got to a point, where decent MTB costs as much as a motorbike. Got me a dirtbike couple years back and it has all the good bits of cycling, but it is way more fun going up! :D Now I am thinking about fulfilling my live long dream and getting a proper street bike and most likely it will be the GSX-S 750. So thanks for the review!
I live in the USofA and own a 2015 gsx-s750. While I'm aware it differs from the other models, I thoroughly enjoy this bike. I'd agree it's the perfect second bike aka first big bike. I started on a ninja 500 a handful of years ago and have no intentions of selling my bike. If anything I'll be adding a dual sport to the stables next year...
This is the bike I would/will buy. I love Suzukis and 4s. I think this looks better than the triple and MT09 but would have to get mine in black. Great review as always.
It also has the RPM assist to aid you. EDIT: Sorry, I missed that part. You did mention it. Nonetheless, it's a nice addition. I'm not the most experienced rider but I have been on / off bikes for a few years and even with a familiar bike I sometimes stall those at traffic lights. Happens to everyone at some point.
Nice review. One reason I would buy it is to get to the pub quicker. Must say my GS has luggage space for my meds, dentures and spare hearing aid batteries. Okay I'm exaggerating but I do like my luggage. I do lots of shopping on my GS, it solves parking issues in crowded Melbourne on a Saturday morning. Thanks for the review.
Another cracking review TMF, thanks. This has been top of my list for some time. Liked the blue but this clip has convinced me to go red! Never had a red vehicle before so why not for my first 'real' bike! Will let you know how my A2 goes over here in France.......
Definitely not only you looking at reflections on the roadside glasses. Always do that myself. Sound is quite low in this video. Needed to turn up the vol to hear you
Great review TMF, I test rode this bike along with a street triple, mt09, tracer900 and gsxs1000 and didn't want to get off after the hour. Hopefully get it next week :)
Another well presented video. I just spent the day on my 2016 GSXR 750 and I can never get enough of the in line 4 engine. Have you ever tested an of the GSXR's?
Thinking of maybe trading in my MT07 for one of these. Love my 07, but I've had it 3 years, looking for a slightly more refined experience. I.E suspension, braking etc
I was 4-5 days ago and testdrive Triumph Street Triple RS, and to day i was and testdrive Suzuki GSX S750. I will buy the Suzuki long before the Triumph because of it have a way better gearbox, and the bike was very good to drive compare to the Triumph.
If you are by nature a very careful person and can completely trust yourself to not open the throttle then yes, a great bike to start on and you certainly wouldn't get bored. Personally, if I'd started on one of these it would have been the last bike I ever bought (as I would have killed myself).....
So the Suzuki s red is fantastic, handles great around corners, seat is comfy, mode button is handy, sound is fantastic, front brakes are particularly nice, excellent value, side stand easy to find, beautiful and smooth when you pull away, .... you really like this bike, or is it just the weather? 😄 cheers
Once again nice watchable review of in my opinion, an very underrated bike. I agree with your comment about bike manufacturers using PS instead of BHP (in UK) almost as annoying as vloggers using newton/meters of torque instead of ft/lbs__ahem!!!!
Thanks for another informative review - while you're in with your Suzuki dealership you should try to get a test ride on the GSX-s1000F, combines the K5 gixxer motor with the same upright riding position as the 750, the induction roar as you open up is just intoxicating.
Another great objective review, thanks for your efforts and impartiality. In choosing my next bike I had written this off in my own mind but having watched this I have a test ride booked for this coming Saturday!
The 'PS' stands for pferd-stark, which is horse power in German. The numbers are different from BHP because one is measured at the crank and the other is measured at the wheels, but can't remember which is which. Maybe Suzuki has a bigger market in Germany than in the UK, I don't know? Nice bike, though...
Having my new GSX S 750 delivered tomorrow MF! In blue/black, got a grand off the new price. Bargain. As usual your review helped in the "deciding stage." Cheers, Jon.
To flip the question around; If you're going to work out anyway, why would you not do it by BEING the motor on a bike? It's quite satisfying. I find riding both bicycles and motorcycles gives one twice the excuse to live life on two wheels. Wish there was more camaraderie between the two groups, we all know the real enemy is cell phone addicted cage pilots.
Another great review again, I'm writing this question before the vlog had even finished. Power wise how does it compare to a supersports? Would it lose in a race? Very impressed info. When you can and if you can will you review the ducati supersports. Thanks.
Informative and comprehensive review, ta. Sat on one, seat a bit high (I'm same height as you) and fairly low bars - noticeable difference from thousand version. Considering changing from 750 twin, this and CB650F on radar.
Hi love the videos glad your reviewing this bike i am away to change my mt07 that I love btw possibly to 1 of these sad to see my mt go but rusty swing arm issues
I'm 32, looking to get my first bike. Been driving for 10 years now, I'd say i'm pretty responsable in traffic and an above average driver for sure. Would this bike bee to much for me? I really like the way it looks, and its price makes it very tempting.
Providing you've started on say a 125 then this would be a good choice for a first big bike I'd say - take it easy for the first few weeks though as these things are powerful.....
Sounds nuts with a yoshi end can, well mine does. I've done around 3500 miles now and ive got about 43 mpg and there's been some spirited riding in there as well. I've just had a quick shifter fitted it's just some much fun now.

Very good review on GSX S750, this bike deserves a 2nd review, Suzuki built a very nice quality bike, it needs some good reviews like yours.
Unusual hand position on the throttle grip...
I always ride like that on flatter bars
I broke my right metacarpal back when I was younger. I prefer to position my hand like that on the throttle. I find it less fatiguing

i've just passed my test and this review made me buy this. I cant wait to pick it up :D
Congratulations on both counts - ride safe!
Lee did you have other bikes in mind before you chose this.
Nice. Yeah great value. Both red and blue colours are great. This one has a lot going for it
+hudsonrilke I agree, another that hasn't had much press coverage, under rated I reckon...
fantastic looking machine Had a 81 gsx750 would be nice to own this incarnation
Another well presented video. I just spent the day on my 2016 GSXR 750 and I can never get enough of the in line 4 engine. Have you ever tested an of the GSXR's?
+Shutters Castle Hill - Castle Hill Shutters Yes, I rode the new GSXR 1000 recently, loved it (I have a review on TH-cam)....
Thinking of maybe trading in my MT07 for one of these. Love my 07, but I've had it 3 years, looking for a slightly more refined experience. I.E suspension, braking etc
MT-09 SP ?
@@vernonfewtrell5735 That was my first option, but I don't like the supermoto riding position. You are literally bolt upright.
I was 4-5 days ago and testdrive Triumph Street Triple RS, and to day i was and testdrive Suzuki GSX S750. I will buy the Suzuki long before the Triumph because of it have a way better gearbox, and the bike was very good to drive compare to the Triumph.
Fair enough....
Would you say this is a good bike to start on? I don't want to get bored on a lower CC bike and I love everything I've seen about this bike.
If you are by nature a very careful person and can completely trust yourself to not open the throttle then yes, a great bike to start on and you certainly wouldn't get bored. Personally, if I'd started on one of these it would have been the last bike I ever bought (as I would have killed myself).....
Appreciate the fast response man. Yes I am very careful and responsible. Great to hear it's good to start on then. Thanks!
Another great review. Not fussed on it to be honest. Prefer the Street Triple. Personal choice I guess. Very reasonably priced tho.
This one surprised me, I reckon this one is under-rated....
Can't believe what a great looking bike that is especially in red!!! Equally as as good on the eye as a mt-10 another enjoyable review cheers
Yes I thought it was a looker, rides well too....under rated I reckon...
Great review unfortunately came off my sv650 due to someone pulling out and I am thinking off this as my next bike
Oh dear, hope any injuries weren't too serious??
TheMissendenFlyer na just bruised and sore but really considering one off these bikes
Great review! I've got the latest gsxr 750 and it's a great bike! Would love to see a review on the gixxer
I'd love a crack on one if I get the chance - ride safe!
very good riding skills; especially when self control is out the window
i stayed in Kettering for a while, compared to northern scotland , it reminded me of Spain..
Great video.Really Like these bikes and fancy getting one next spring.
😄 cheers
Well that definitely helps for sure!
I think now you have ridden and reviewed 3 main naked bikes below 1000cc. You should do a comparison video, will be really helpful.
+shyampgopan Thanks for the idea :0)
Once again nice watchable review of in my opinion, an very underrated bike. I agree with your comment about bike manufacturers using PS instead of BHP (in UK) almost as annoying as vloggers using newton/meters of torque instead of ft/lbs__ahem!!!!
:0)
Thanks for another informative review - while you're in with your Suzuki dealership you should try to get a test ride on the GSX-s1000F, combines the K5 gixxer motor with the same upright riding position as the 750, the induction roar as you open up is just intoxicating.
Yes I will try and do that - thanks for the recommendation!
Another great objective review, thanks for your efforts and impartiality. In choosing my next bike I had written this off in my own mind but having watched this I have a test ride booked for this coming Saturday!
Nice one Ashley - I think you may be pleasantly surprised by this one.....I was
TheMissendenFlyer I was, it's in the garage! 😀👍
@Bunnyshooter 223 I actually have its bigger brother now, a GSXS1000F 🙂 There's been a few in between mind you@
@Bunnyshooter 223 hopefully since Suzuki's big win they'll move on from competent underdogs. Their racing budget is way smaller than some teams though
Aha, how interesting - thanks for that....
Having my new GSX S 750 delivered tomorrow MF! In blue/black, got a grand off the new price. Bargain. As usual your review helped in the "deciding stage." Cheers, Jon.
Hey congratulations Jon - always exciting times waiting for a new bike!
TMF congrats on your 33k subs mate!!! i love watching your reviews !!
Thank you....
Great video as always!
One small detail, were the handlebars wide enough because you did the whole video gripping the ends of the bars!
Several have spotted that - don't know what was going on there!
Great review as ever!
I have just purchased an identical machine!
Congratulations!
Hello TMF, could please do a review on GSXS 1000? Even if it's just a short test ride.
Stay tuned!
Great review bud!!! One of the best yet!!!
Thank you!
"PS" (Pferdestärke) is "HP" (horsepower) in German
hello tmf, i would love to see a review of the new gsxs1000 as well. keep up the good work, always enjoy watching your reviews.
+mike knight Cheers Mike, will try my best!
Great bike really good review, I don't know if you have already but could you think about the electric Zero, just a thought.
Yes I've certainly thought about it!
Another great review again, I'm writing this question before the vlog had even finished. Power wise how does it compare to a supersports? Would it lose in a race? Very impressed info. When you can and if you can will you review the ducati supersports. Thanks.
Oh yes this is super powerful and could see off many a supersports bike with a competent rider - just as fast......and I'm working on the Ducati!
Thanks for the review. I have a coworker that is looking at getting one of these. I will be sharing this with him. :)
Nice one Jason - thanks for that...
Thanks for another great review very nice bike and great country side many thanks tony
+Anthony Stanley Thank you Tony - you're very welcome...TMF
I'm 32, looking to get my first bike. Been driving for 10 years now, I'd say i'm pretty responsable in traffic and an above average driver for sure. Would this bike bee to much for me? I really like the way it looks, and its price makes it very tempting.
Providing you've started on say a 125 then this would be a good choice for a first big bike I'd say - take it easy for the first few weeks though as these things are powerful.....
@@TheMissendenFlyer Thanks for taking the time to answer that !
No worries!
Sounds nuts with a yoshi end can, well mine does. I've done around 3500 miles now and ive got about 43 mpg and there's been some spirited riding in there as well. I've just had a quick shifter fitted it's just some much fun now.
+MR SW Quick shifters rule!
is it good for pillion riding. it two up comfortable???
Another very good review. Enjoyed the ride. Thanks.
Another good review like all your reviews keep them coming👍
+paul marshall Cheers Paul - will do...
Hi , really enjoying all your reviews . Have you any plans to review the Honda Crossrunner ?
I have just bought a 2016 Crossrunner and would like to hear your opinion of the bike if you review it !
Loved the video of your Northern trip to the lakes , especially the Hard Knott pass !
Thanks Robert
Would love to have a crack on one of those Robert, I do need to visit the Honda dealer soon so will see what I can line up - cheers - TMF
TheMissendenFlyer That would be great. .l will look forward to that .
Cheers Robert
I'd really like to see you review the 1000 and the 1000f
Looks great, sounds great, another great review.
