I'd really prefer not to - and I don't own this vehicle, nor do I have regular access to it. and the owners would be a little pissed if I just started tearing out their dash, just to replace a temp gauge, that doesn't need to be replaced. Best tip I can offer, is get a set of those teflon panel popper tools from supercheap auto. Another tip though, check to see if it isn't the temp sender, or low coolant first.
Awesome video, I have a VX and need to do the leads and plugs - thank you for uploading.
Could you teach us how to put in a temp gauge please

ever think the overflow bottle has a leak lol , they are known for it big time 🤪🤪🤪🤪
This one had a plastic valve crumble away further down. was way more than the overflow bottle in this case.
Unfortunately common issue is the manifold inlet gaskets in the valley.
Yep this one has had that done.
Shortly after this video, the heater tap assembly crumbled to bits as well
@@TheAussieRepairGuy those heater taps are notorious.. Gates ftw.
@@ChrisHolden-rv2fh yeah not the first time I've seen them crumble.
