I scored a trade in vz wagon, exec in the same color as yours too for $1500, 150k on the clock, honestly it’s great to drive and great on fuel. I’m an ex Holden mechanic and the alloytec gets a bad rap, but mainly because people don’t know how to look after them or just didnt. It’s really not a bad motor. 👍🏼
@pollock9231 mate I have to agree, these motors are ok with regular servicing, hence me saying you need to service these every 5k, but if you don't, they go to shit, and quickly. Unlike let's say ecotec v6, they're happy missing many servicing. Also vzs always have issues with bcm, ecus, they are a pain, this vz I paid 500 for. New tyres and 3 months rego, it was worth the gamble
Changed mine about 6 years ago still going good 220 on the clock.
