Thank you so much for sharing your hair loss journey. You are such an encouragement to me! I love how you seem to have made peace with the hair loss. Yes, inject a little fun into every day because goodness knows life is too precious to dwell on the hard stuff. Love your message, love your videos! Thank you so much!
Y'all are gonna make me cry ... again. *hugs* I am glad my dear. I always say if we're not uplifting, what the heck are we doing? Any time my dear and feel free to ask me if you have any other requests. I can't promise perfection but I can just about guarantee a laugh. We all could use a bit more of that I suspect. Take care and enjoy your weekend!
Wow! Very powerful post!! Your words definitely resonated with me & brought me to tears. Thank you for being so bold, putting yourself out there, and encouraging others!💗💗💗
Hi Patricia! Sorry for my delayed response. First, thank you for watching. ❤ Second, I feel for you that my words brought tears because often that comes from deep empathy. Just know there are so many folks out on YT and social media being very frank about their struggles with hair thinning and hair loss so we'll always be in the best company. I guess I did put myself out there and often do on Instagram as well but honestly, it is worth it if someone can relate and feel a biy more empowered. We really have the power to change how we feel and doing that changes how others see us for the good. Thank you for your kind words and hope to hear from you again! ❤
Your confidence is catching! The videos you make are more than helpful....they are inspiring, uplifting and down right honest. No one truly understands until they have been there....and you do understand. Thank you for the time and love you share here with all of us.
Suzy, I sure hope so! xx I do certainly understand. I've been through the ringer and honestly, I'm glad now. I'm at a point where I appreciate all the lessons learned. It is my pleasure truly to chat with all of you here. I'm also incredibly thankful that everyone is so kind and shares a bit of their lives with me too. Thanks for being here, lovely! xx
Listening to what you said here it’s so strange because I felt just how you did in almost every way, I’ve just bought 2 wigs and ta hella scary leaving the house for the first time isn’t it , I even bumped in to my ex husband who didn’t recognise me ! Thank you for doing this Kat you don’t know how valuable your blog is to us 😁
+Little Starlight Bright Is it a goos thing he didn't recognise you? ❤ It means a lot to me to know I am doing something others can relate to. Thank you for taking time to share that with me. ❤ Take care and look forward to hearing from you again! xx
+Empress Shona Hello! Thank you for commenting and letting me know! I will make myself a note to have a look at your channel! Health, happiness, and blessings lovely! 🐾❤
Extraordinarily beautiful video! Thanks so much! I am a kindred spirit and also a cat lover...call me kitten/kat anytime. In fact, when I was in my twenties many folks called me "kitten" and I loved it. Well done my friend!
Thank you, Suzy! You have put it pretty succinctly and I don't think I could improve on the sentiment ... it is truly one day at a time for many of us, where ever we may be in life. From a young age on, I have relied on those affirmations to get me from one moment to the next ... much self-talk and prayer and it has served me very well, personally, in getting to the next bit. Such a cute nickname! People do spot a cat lover! Cats, to me, are an endless source of love and joy. As I say, you put it beautifully abour coping and I thank you! I hope noy only do my personal stories help othera but that comments like yours do as well. It helps to read that actually others are living a similar experience and we need not feel so alone. Thank you for sharing a bit about you with me and anyone reading along with us. ❤
This is why I love you so much..I have tears in my eyes, seriously do! If I were ever fortunate enough to meet you in person and we could sit and talk, go for a walk and talk while watching Kole play...I swear we would have so much to talk about and laugh about! One thing we have in common though...the love of our lives walked into our lives after our looks were affected by hair thinning and hair loss...these guys watch us go through this crap and still love and adore us...they saw past all that and fell in love with us anyway! IF shallow Tom wouldn't have dumped me when the hair loss first started I never would have met Stephen. If I would have remained with Tom there is no way I would have been where I was, when I was to meet Steve, my husband of 27 years and the wonderful father of my 3 Daughters! God Bless You Sweetheart as well as that wonderful husband you have and darling son of yours! Hugs from Wisconsin!
Oh bless you! I didn't mean to make anyone cry even though I got there myself. It is emotional because it's not "just hair", you know, it is dead cells and all but also, there is a societal and emotional component that has a lot to do with who we feel like we are. At the end of the day, when how we look at ourselves changes, it affects us, and that is worth talking about and it is valid/important. *hugs* Ok, Tom was a jerk! If you're out there Tom, you were a jerk (and probably still are) - you missed out! And you Christine darlin', you did good. When one door closes, another opens, and we're glad to have walked through it. Give Steve a hug from me! Good men and good fathers are so precious - they deserve to know they're appreciated. Mine is really chill about things and he never makes me feel like I have to do anything to make him happy. He usually just says he's happy to have me here. And he is a great daddy, Kole couldn't have asked for better. We're lucky ones! Big hugs darlin' and shout if you're in the UK ever. I do have friends and some distant family in Wisconsin so if I'm in the area, I'll shout. Take care of you and yours darlin! *hugs*
Hair is just an accessory! Your health is so much more important! Hold your head up and own it!! How awesome that you can just put on your hair and go without spending hours to get ready. I am fortunate that it is just option for me, but when I was concerned what people would say, a coworker told me.... people will talk about you whether you wear a wig or not, so do what you want!!! I found that most women wish they had the courage to do it as well. Stay well, and in the words of blondielocks, another youtuber, Have fun with your hair!!
+ann sorensen Ya got that right, people will talk but we don't have to listen. They are going to do what they are going to do and that does not need to prevent us from being happy. Thank you for hanging out and commenting! I appreciate it! Have a wonderful day! 🐾❤
You are beautiful inside and out; that is why we watch your videos!! I never felt good enough when I was growing up, but the great thing about age is we learn to know what matters and what doesn't and we finally accept ourselves as the way we are and if no one likes us, too bad for them!! Lots of love from OHIO!! :)
Sue, thank you! That is very kind of you to say and I appreciate that you took time to do so! It is a struggle to find a place where we can accept ourselves without letting others dictate what we feel, how we act, or what we look like. When we reach that point, it's liberating! Too bad for those Nancy Naysayers or Negative Nellies! Hah! Hugs and thanks for hanging out from Ohio!
Goodness, thank you Taz! I didn't actually think I'd make a video like this and it was all stream of consciousness but I'm glad it hit home with some folks. At the end of the day, it's important to connect on a human level with other people - what else is there? God bless you darlin', as I suspect he has as he has me and mine. Everyday I get to wake up I feel very appreciative. Bring on the weekend! Take care of you and have a super weekend!
Wow..you just said everything I want to say. I love this hair loss / wig comminity! I have struggled alone with this extreme thinning and chronic illness for so long. I'm not where you are yet but I hope to be soon. Thank you!
+Kim D Welcome! YT has been a lifeline for a lot of us in finding community. It took a whike to get to where I am, and I have a bit further to go as a person for sure, but it is attainable - some freedom. Shout anytime! I am glad you took time to comment! Thank you! 🐾❤
*big hugs* Thank you for taking the time to watch and to be kind enough to comment. I honestly and deeply do appreciate it! We are enough. We are amazing, powerful, and capable of whatever we choose when we build ourselves up with compassion and love. Thank you for hanging out and I hope to hear from you again. Take care!
Thank you so much for your honesty and genuine heart.. More people should be like you!!..I have one question. When you removed your wig, your hair was short & not buzzed like the earlier photo. So now do you find that just keeping it short works better and buzzed? Is the comfort factor better with just super short? Keep up the great videos!!
+Gale Taylor I appreciate your kindness in your comments and taking time to share them! ❤🐾 About buzzing - I am just lazy! I buzz, forget about it for a while since I only see my hair when I wake up and go to bed, and sometimes I think I want to grow the top a bit. But when I have a shedding period or my hair starts to look weird (no longer seems to grow at all consistently) then I get up thr gumption to get the clippers. I do prefer it freshly cut honestly. Thank you again for hanging out and I hope to hear from you again! ❤
Katt Tracks Why not just say friends and subscribers? Truly I don't mean to be nasty but who wants to be called a Kat or Kitten. I know you are called Katt and that's lovely and your choice. But as I said I am neither. xx
+Dillingerdame Honestly, kats and kittens has been something I say in real life for many years. I love cats and its gender neutral. "Friends" feels a bit presumptive and subscribers feels distant so I went with what I actually have and do say IRL because I wanted to be geniune. If I'm honest, I often find YT intros annoying because I don't relate personally to them but they tend to be quite general. I am not "coming at" anyone or any of the things people typically say. I shall give it thoughy but as I say, honestly, it is quite genuine for me as that is my gender neutral, presumptionless way of greeting a mixed audience derrived from my moniker and love of cats. 🐾❤ I do appreciate discourse and I do appreciate your answer. Thank you.
I love your attitude and your genuine compassion for others, we need so many more like you in this world. Thank you! Love your videos!! Says a lot about a person who cares for people and animals😺😺🐾🐾❤❤ Thanks again and God Bless you. (Thanks for helping me and many others Kit Cat!!)

Yes!
Your channel isn't bad, but please cut out the Cats and Kittens crap, I am neither and find it patronising and rather childish.
+Dillingerdame Thanks for stopping by. What suggestion do do you have to replace "kats and kittens"? 🐾❤
