Agree! and his English accent is a major plus for me as I spent a lot of time with my grandmother growing up who hailed from Bradford. Hearing an English accent plucks all my heart strings and makes me smile..🤩

I just switched to OneNote after using Evernote for years after an Evernote required subscription upgrade during which the entire process deleted a bunch of my notes. Anyway, I needed to learn OneNote quickly and this was a superb quick introductory tutorial. You're an excellent instructor. Thank you.

I recently retired after 35+ years of active military service and moved into the private sector. I've long been a paper note taker, with literally dozens of journal pads saved for reference over the years. I think OneNote has the potential to replace my journals and I'm especially intrigued by the cross-device interoperability. However, I'm anxious to see if it will work with an Android pad & pen (ie Samsung Galaxy note). I don't want to be "forced" (admittedly a little bias there) into the Apple world but the ability to take notes by hand is critical to my job, or at least to my own sanity. I appreciate tutorial and keep up the great work!

I am very grateful for your instruction/help. I am looking at upgrading my career. Born and raised without the internet and cell phones; however, extremely proficient and knowledgeable in computer programs (especially in medical health field for 25 years). Because I started with the “Eeerrrr Eeeeerrr” sound of the internet when we had to connect through our home phones and working at a leading company in Radiology that surpassed even the hospitals with transitioning online from paper to digital (PS we are still not paper free LOL), I have learned alot about computer programming and interfacing. With that being said, the digital online world has recently (within the last 8-10 years) progressed at super-speed. Because I am looking to advance my career and my income, I searched TH-cam (after learning a job I am applying for prefers knowledge of One Note) by searching “One Note Instruction”. I have only watched this one instructional video once and plan to watch it again but could easily navigate on my own on the fly if I had to. You have a great gift and you are appreciated. Thank you so much and I just subscribed and look forward to more instructional videos. Sincerely grateful, Helen

As I get older I find it harder to juggle several projects and keep track of how far I've got with one or which one I was last working on. I needed an app to help with this. Of course there is one - it's called a diary or notebook. But OneNote has proved an ideal adjunct to an ageing brain and this tutorial an excellent and easy introduction to it.

This looks and sounds fantastic and excellent as a tutorial. The presentation, speed, voice, clarity, etc., are beautiful....
UPDATE: The problem was that when I bought and installed MS 365 it left me with a very old version of OneNote. Got the current version and it looks fine. Also found how to get rid of unwanted notebooks by deleting them in OneDrive/Documents (online).
-But, I cannot get to "first base"! I cannot make my OneNote screen look like yours....I do not have and do not know how to get the left column to show the little purple Notebooks icon. This was confusing for a long time because I couldn't tell what part of the hierarchy I was in. And, when I was first playing around with OneNote trying to learn it, I created notebooks that I don't want now and there seems to be no way to delete them. I've uninstalled the program, but it never really uninstalled. It showed right back up with all the same notebooks I don't want. I feel like an idiot.- 🤔

They do exercises for me and in order to be able to give personal notes in an easy way, I would like to use the notebook - but preferably as a class-notebook where I can give individual notes to exercises. Thanks a lot, great tutorial! I have one question: Is there any way one can bring "time" and "due by" into this? In other words: I'd like to use one note also as a to do list with categories (say A, B, C) and due dates. Ideally, the whole thing would then sync with outlook. Is one note the right tool for the job or am I completey off with that idea? Thanks in advance!

ive never used one note. though ive been told i can use it for my flip learning content. I was told i could do this :- As you read the package online you can screen grab the sections that you want into one note and add that to your own personal note file collection. You can then organise your one note as a personal note book. You can print off your personal OneNote notes if needed.

if when revising you can dip into more detail from your notes and you can click back into the package for full audio described detail.

The slides can be printed by the developer as a word doc but they will not have all the words of the package as some are scrolling panels that have text 'off the page' plus some responses to click and reveal answers.
can you do a video on this or is that what this video shows. I have dyslexia so it this makes it easier than typing the whole thing out on work which takes days then im willing to learn.

Thank you for your video, it was helpful. I’m hoping to use One Note to organize my daughters homeschool work. We use Rocketbook to write. And then I hope to keep it organized in one note.

Thank you for this video. It was very helpful. I've been trying for years to use this program with no success. I can never find a function to upload content or even figure out how to organize a notebook. I don't know where the notebooks are stored and Microsoft doesn't let you delete them once they're done. So I've opened them and then trying to delete them. Anyways. It was a good starting point. I will say notebook is not an intuitive program so this is very helpful. Thank you

I've tried it again based on your video but unfortunately there's no mechanism to add content to your pages which makes the whole thing redundant. Create the page I go to insert and file picture and everything else are just grayed out so just simply can never get this program to work. But thank you for your efforts. Appreciated

Thanks. This was very helpful. I was caught between Apple Notes, Google Keep, and MS OneNote. I think OneNote suits me best. I'm a developer.

I am writing a historical fiction novel. I was trying to keep all my notes on paper, but that very quickly became a nightmare. Plus, I will be traveling a lot while I'm writing, so I really need my notes available, no matter where I am. I think OneNote will work well for this project.
