I build custom homes and use OneNote for Project Management. I can keep all my notes, files, drawings, inspiration pictures, specification sheets and so on all in one place. No more multiple paper notebooks and loosing meeting notes or looking up info over and over again. Love OneNote
All wonderful until your organisation upgrades to one of the higher security versions of 365, where loop is no longer included because of its open architecture. 😮
This is class. Judt started using it regularly and is a great tool. Delighted the loop integration of tasks is here! My question is where you get all your transparent MS icons from! I have to do training videos for work so will be using them
It took me half an hour to realize Page Templates is not available for OneNote on the Web, just the Client. Doh! However, the Loop Components are pretty useful.
So the Loop Components is only available to Business Standard Subscriptions and above, not 365 family? 😢 I've been jazzed about this and the integration between One Note and To Do List since seeing your video, but I've only got a family subscription, and while I can open Loop, I don't even have an option for Loop Components on One Note Web.
well, the desktop and web app difference (and nonexistence of loop in on one) will cause lot confusion - do not simply go around these (almost) silently...
Does anybody know why I can see the "Loop-components" in the menu bar, but it is "grayed out" so that no clicking is working? (Although I have a Business 365 license) What I found out "some minutes later", that it does not work for my former created OneNote notebooks. But for a new built one it does work!
Great video however you stated that Loop Components is not accessible on the desktop version of OneNote. Respectively that is incorrect. I have been using Loop components in OneNote desktop version for some time now. I do have an Microsoft E3 license so I am not sure if that makes a difference or not.
@@JasonBrundage Mmmm interesting….. this is the official MS documentation - Note: Loop components are being gradually rolled out and are made available via your work account. Within OneNote, Loop components are available only if your organization allows creation of links that can be edited or viewed by anyone in the organization. Loop components are being rolled out to Windows and Web but are not yet available in OneNote for mobile or Mac/iOS. Loop components in OneNote Online may be available only to targeted release users in your organization and available via Insiders Beta for the OneNote Windows desktop app.

I use OneNote every single day ... at work, at church, .... I really hope Microsoft keeps it updated!
Same. I've been using it since 2005

Super clear in a short time. Congrats.
Great video. I use OneNote every day, and I use Loop all the time, its brilliant. Thank you for the positive reinforcement.
Love your videos :) thank you for the info 🙏🏻
What an amazing brief tutorial. Thank you Jonathan.

@@ajmacconville1 Do you mean the logos on my edits?
I wish that Microsoft didn’t purposely make office 365 half assed for macOS
Fantastic review. thanks!!!
It would be great if you did a video on OneNote with GTD Method

I love this app, no markdown support is no go for me.

Love you Mr. Edwards! You also have the same name as one of my favorite Puritan Authors.

Yes, it is available only for some MS365 E sucriptions
The feature is not available for everyone
Can a project management template be created and copied to new Teams when a new project is created? Via PowerAutomate?
Is the loop integration available for MSA accounts?
Hi, how are you, could you tell me how to enable in Outlook, read aloud, for Androids phones and tablets.
CC picked up "microsoft Lube" lol
I Jon. I called your company today for advise on Teams voice the reply from the call answerer... Not great...
Which number did you call? Feel free to send me an email - jonathan@bearded365guy.com
OneNote is perfect and the best thing Microsoft can do is forget it exists. If they start messing with it, they'll ruin it
What if it's a recurring meeting series - once a week about 48-50 meeting occurrences a year with recaps considering holidays give or take.
🤯🥳🙌
I thought they discontinued OneNote
OneNote for Windows 10 end of life is on 10/15/2025 not the New OneNote app, which kindly is just called OneNote.
You shut your mouth. They might hear you and remember it exists.
