I thought, I'm the only weird one who using OneNote still without using notion; but now I know weird people exist with me in this cosmos. 💙💙

Been using Onenote for GTD for years. You can also use audio capture with onenote on your phone, so you can just just speak into the phone and the text transcript will land straight into your quicknotes/inbox

Discovered Onenote in 2021 and then created a public second brain in work intranet without knowing what that was really. Now transitioning to personal use after flirting with Logseq and Workflowy. This video very relevant and useful to what I'm doing now

Thank you for this. I’m getting started with Tiago’s second brain I’m a librarian who doesn’t want to pay for Evernote lol. This was helpful

I've been using OneNote as a "second brain" since I discovered it in 2007.

OneNote is the best. Using it for couple of years.

Thanks. Now to read GTD! Your last part getting started looks good advice

Keep it simple and build from there.
The principles in the GTD book still hold up. You might find that some specific implementations of the system are a bit outdated or overkill for your use case. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi. I'm not sure if iPhones offer the widget.

Probably better to use Apple notes if you have an iPhone

    what’s better than onenote??

It depends on your needs and personality. I would suggest looking into Tiago Forte's videos to explore other second brain apps.

Hy budd this is great and I'm using onenote as well. Do you have any advice using tools such as readwise to export to onenote?
I don't want to revamp my whole system just to use notion. I like reading physical books and willing to take the time to take a picture and then export to onenote manually. Wondering if you got any tips and tricks?

Have you ever worked with the OneNote badge? It's an easy and quick way to take pictures and notes that automatically go to OneNote.
